Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh berbagai konsentrasi sukrosa terhadap induksi embrio somatik kacang tanah pada setiap kultivar kacang tanah yang diuji dan mencari konsentrasi sukrosa yang paling baik untuk menginduksi embrio somatik pada setiap kultivar kacang tanah yang dicoba. Percobaan dilakukan pada dua kultivar kacang tanah, yaitu kacang tanah Jerapah dan kacang tanah Sima, percobaan ini dilaksanakan dalam rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 10 ulangan. Setiap satuan percobaan terdiri dari 1 botol yang berisi 5 eksplan leaflet kacang tanah. Perlakuan yang diterapkan pada setiap kultivar dengan menggunakan berbagai konsentrasi sukrosa yaitu 0, 10, 20, 30, dan 40 g/l. Untuk variabel jumlah embrio, homogenitas ragam diuji dengan uji Bartlett. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan sidik ragam. Perbedaan nilai tengah perlakuan diuji dengan uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) pada taraf nyata 5%. Dari hasil penelitian dan pengamatan yang telah dilakukan, maka dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut yaitu, 1) Pada kultivar Jerapah, konsentrasi sukrosa berpengaruh terhadap rata-rata jumlah embrio somatik per eksplan dan persentase kalus embriogenik. Konsentrasi sukrosa dalam media yang baik dalam menghasilkan rata-rata embrio somatik per eksplan adalah 20 g/l. konsentrasi sukrosa dalam media yang optimum dalam menghasilkan pesentase kalus embriogenik adalah 10 dan 20 g/l. 2)Pada kultivar Sima, konsentrasi sukrosa dalam media yang baik dalam menghasilkan rata-rata embrio somatik per eksplan adalah 30 g/l. konsentrasi sukrosa dalam media yang optimum dalam menghasilkan persentase kalus embriogenik adalah 40 g/l.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the comparison of the cost structure of organic paddy farming (Sumber Urip Farmer Group) and inorganic paddy farming (Harta Jaya Farmer Group) in Watukebo Village, Blimbingsari District, Banyuwangi Regency, East Java.  (2) the comparison of organic paddy farming (Sumber Urip Farmer Group) and Inorganic rice farming (Harta Jaya Farmer Group). The analysis tools used are cost analysis, income analysis, R / C ratio and two-sample t test differences. The results showed; (1) the total cost of organic paddy farming is IDR 11,042,735 / ha / one planting season, lower than the total cost of inorganic paddy which is IDR 11,154,570 / ha / one planting season. (2a) the average total income of organic paddy farming is IDR 27,048,320 / ha / one planting season and the average total income of inorganic paddy farming is IDR 26,681,500 / ha / one planting season. (2b) the average organic paddy farming revenue is IDR 16,005,585 / ha / one planting season. while inorganic paddy farming is IDR 15,526,930 / ha / one planting season. The average R / C ratio of organic and inorganic paddy farming, respectively, is 2.4 and 1.7, which means that organic paddy farming is more profitable and efficient than inorganic paddy farming in one planting season. (3) The results of the different test results of organic  paddy farming and inorganic paddy farming have a significant difference. (2) perbandingan pendapatan usahatani padi organik (Kelompok Tani Sumber Urip) dan usahatani padi Anorganik (Kelompok Tani Harta Jaya). Alat analisis yang digunakan analisis biaya, analisis pendapatan, R/C rasio dan Uji Beda dua sample t test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan; (1) total biaya usahatani padi organik sebesar Rp 11,042,735/ha/satu musim tanam lebih rendah dibandingkan total biaya padi anorganik sebesar Rp 11,154,570/ha/ satu musim tanam. (2a) rata- rata total penerimaan usahatani padi organik sebesar Rp 27,048,320/ha/satu musim tanam dan rata-rata total penerimaan usahatani padi anorganik sebesar Rp 26,681,500/ha/satu musim tanam. (2b) Rata-rata pendapatan usahatani padi organik sebesar Rp 16,005,585 /ha/satu musim tanam. sedangkan usahatani padi anorganik yakni Rp 15,526,930/ha/satu musim tanam. Rata-rata R/C rasio usahatani padi organik dan padi anorganik secara urut yaitu 2,4 dan 1,7 yang berarti usahatani padi organik lebih menguntungkan dan efisien dibandingkan usahatani padi anorganik dalam satu musim tanam. (3) Hasil uji beda pendapatan usahatani padi organik dan padi anorganik terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan. Abstract

 PT Intidaya Agrolestari is a company engaged in the agricultural business.  One type of business is the curly chili farming business which is a type of business that has just been carried out and is in the development stage.  The constraints and constraints of seasonal factors in the production of curly chilies greatly affect the amount of output or harvest produced so it greatly affects the income of the farming business. The greater the output or harvest produced, the greater the income received. The objectives of this study are knowing the cost of farming curly red chili in the rainy and dry seasons. Knowing the income of the curly red chili farming business in the rainy season. Knowing the feasibility of farming curly red chili in the rainy and dry seasons by using the R/C ratio, B/C ratio, and Break Event Point (BEP).The results of this study show that the total cost of farming curly chili in the rainy season with a land area of 1 Ha, namely Rp. 128,574,400, is greater when compared to the total cost of farming curly chili in the dry season with a land area of 1 Ha, namely Rp. 117,691,400, -. The total income of curly chili farming in the rainy season with a land area of 1 Ha is Rp. 28,425,875, -greater than the income of curly chili farming in the dry season with a land area of 1 Ha which suffered a loss of Rp. 77,691,400. Analysis of the Income Level of curly chili farming in the rainy season with a land area of 1 Ha in terms of R/C ratio, B/C ratio, and BEP can be said to be feasible to continue. Because it obtained an R/C ratio value of more than 1, which is 1.22 B/C ratio of more than 0, which is 0.22, and has produced a total production of 5,627.25 kg, with a selling price of Rp. 27,900, each of which has passed the production BEP value of 4,608 kg and the BEP price value of Rp. 22,849. Meanwhile, the Income Level Analysis of curly chili farming in the dry season with a land area of 1 ha as seen from the R/C ratio, B/C ratio, and BEP can be said to be unfit. Because it obtained an R/C ratio of less than 1, namely 0.34, a B/C ratio of less than 0, which is -0.66, and has produced a total production of 1000 kg, with a selling price of Rp. 20,000, each of which does not exceed the limit of the production BEP value of 5,885 kg and the BEP price value of Rp. 58,846.

Abstract

The agricultural sector of West Java Province has a strategic function as a national food barn and supports the needs of basic foodstuffs, especially rice. However, on the other hand, the production of rice and most of the agricultural sector commodities of West Java Province continues to decline. It aims to analyze the contribution of the agricultural sector and the agricultural subsector. Analyze and classify the position of the agricultural subsector. Analyze and classify the growth and competitiveness of agricultural subsectors.  Analyze and identify the agricultural subsectors that are being developed.  The data analysis consists of Contribution Analysis (Share), Klassen Typology Analysis, Shift Share Analysis, Static Location Quotient Analysis, and Dynamic Location Quotient Analysis in the period of research analysis, namely 2010-2019.    The results showed that the overall agricultural sector contribution was 8.11%, the largest contribution was the food crop subsector 3.69%, horticultural crop subsector 1.58%, livestock 1.06%, fisheries 0.85%, plantation crops 0.73%, and the smallest forestry 0.08%. The food crops and horticultural crops subsector is positioned as an advanced but depressed subsector, while the plantation, livestock, forestry, and fisheries subsector as a subsector is relatively lagging.  The fisheries subsector has faster growth, while the food crops, horticultural crops, plantation crops, animal husbandry, and forestry subsectors have slower growth, and the entire agricultural subsector has less competitiveness.  The food crops and horticultural crops subsector is the leading subsector, but all agricultural subsectors have the potential for slower development in the future. The results of this study are expected to be input and consideration for the West Java Provincial Government in developing policies related to agricultural development.

Abstract

 Dansha Florist is a household-scale industry that produces a variety of ornamental plants, namely ornamental leaf plants, and flower ornamental plants in Cianjur. However, the demand and production of Dansha florist ornamental plants still fluctuate every month and the average ornamental plant production has not been able to meet consumer demand. Fluctuations in the price of ornamental plants affect the revenue of Dansha Florist's household business. Dansha Florist has not done periodic bookkeeping and evaluation, so the benefits obtained are not visible as a whole. The purpose of this study is to analyze the costs incurred by the ornamental plant business in Dansha Florist, analyze the income of the Dansha Florist ornamental plant business, analyze the level of R/C Ratio, B/C Ratio, Payback Period (PP), and Break Event Point (BEP).The results of this study are costs are incurred in the form of fixed costs such as UN costs, labor costs, and depreciation costs. Operating revenue in 2019 amounted to Rp. 349,199,698,-. The results of the calculation of the analysis of the R/C ratio, B/C ratio, Break Event Point (BEP), and Payback Period (PP): a. The value of R/C ratio is 1.58 and the R/C ratio of the flower ornamental plant business is 1.06. So the condition of the ornamental plant business on Dansha Florist is feasible to run. b. The value of the B/C business ratio of leaf ornamental plants is 0.58 and the B/C ratio to the total cost obtained by the leaf ornamental plant business is 0.06. Then the business is profitable to run. The results of the BEP calculation of the leaf ornamental plant business obtained a volume BEP value of 35,499 pots and the BEP price of Rp. 6,311 per pot. As well as the results of the BEP calculation of the flower ornamental plant business obtained a volume BEP value of 92,280 pots and a BEP price of Rp. 23,554 per pot. The payback value of the leaf plant business period is 1.47 which shows a return on capital for 1 year and 5 months. The payback period of the flower plant business is 2.15 which shows for 2 years and 1 month.

Abstract

Ornamental plants are widely used to beautify yards and gardens. In addition, many types of ornamental plants are used as businesses that generate profits. Ornamental plant business activities have great potential to be developed by an effort to grow the national and regional economies. One of the ornamental plants that have the potential to be developed is orchids.The objectives of this study are calculating the business costs of vanda douglas orchid ornamental plants in Gunung Sindur District. Analyzing the business income of vanda douglas orchid ornamental plants in Gunung Sindur District. Analyzing the business prospects of vanda douglas orchid ornamental plants in Gunung Sindur district using, B/C Ratio, Break Event Point (BEP), Payback Period (PP), Net Present Value (NPV), and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). This research was conducted on orchid farmers in Gunung Sindur District with a population of 30 respondents. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The data and information that has been collected are analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively which is processed with the help of Microsoft Excel Software.The results showed that the business costs carried out by vanda Douglas orchid farmers in Gunung Sindur District during the planting season amounted to Rp. 162,775,000, consisting of fixed costs of Rp. 46,574,400 and variable costs of Rp. 143,075,000. Income Rp. -33,775,000, receipts Rp. 129,000,000. The B/C value ratio of -0.20 indicates that the B/C value ratio is less than zero, the BEP of production volume is 1,627 bunches and the BEP price is Rp. 126,182, the payback period of -4.16 years the value of the Payback Period shows that the vanda Douglas orchid business is negative, which means that farmers have not been able to return investment because they are losing money. Then the NPV value of the orchid business was Rp. -194,401,493 and was negative and the IRR value was 1.68% < 2%. So, it can be concluded that the vanda Douglas orchid business carried out by farmers in Gunung Sindur District does not provide benefits and is not feasible to run in the future.

Abstract

 Abstract Cassava commodity is placed as one of the main food crop commodities that needs to be continuously developed. Cikarawang village in Bogor is one of the cassava production centers. However, there are problems related to fluctuating selling prices, disproportionate selling prices with increases in input prices, and high margins in the cassava trade system that must be faced by cassava farmers there, especially Gapoktan Mandiri Jaya. These problems are the implications of the length of the commerce channel and the many commerce institutions involved. From these problems, this study aims to determine the variations in the commerce formed and determine the efficient cassava trading channel in Gapoktan Mandiri Jaya by using the analysis of commerce margin, farmer's share, and profit to cost ratio. This research was conducted by taking samples from cassava farmers in Gapoktan Mandiri Jaya and using other data taken from supporting stakeholders, namely traders, collectors, wholesalers, and retailers. The results of this study indicate that the trading institutions involved are farmers, collectors I, traders collectors II, wholesalers, retailers, and consumers (households and industries). These institutions formed 6 variations of the cassava commerce. The most efficient commerce channel is the 5th commerce consisting of farmers, collector I (village), retailers, and end consumers with the smallest margin of Rp. 2,250 and the highest profit and cost ratio of 4.79. Keywords: Commerce; cassava; efficiency AbstrakKomoditas ubi kayu ditempatkan sebagai salah satu komoditas utama tanaman pangan yang perlu terus dikembangkan. Desa Cikarawang di Bogor menjadi salah satu sentra produksi ubi kayu. Namun, terdapat permasalahan terkait harga jual yang fluktuatif, tidak sebandingnya harga jual dengan kenaikan harga input, dan tingginya marjin tataniaga ubi kayu yang harus dihadapi petani ubi kayu di sana, khusunya Gapoktan Mandiri Jaya. Permasalahan-permasalahan tersebut adalah implikasi dari panjangnya saluran tataniaga dan banyaknya lembaga tataniaga yang terlibat. Dari permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui variasi saluran tataniaga yang terbentuk dan menentukan saluran tataniaga ubi kayu yang efisien di Gapoktan Mandiri Jaya dengan menggunakan analisis margin tataniaga, farmer’s Share, dan rasio keuntungan terhadap biaya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengambil sample dari petani ubi kayu di Gapoktan Mandiri Jaya dan menggunakan data-data lain yang diambil dari stakeholder pendukung yaitu pedagang, pengumpul, grosir, dan pengecer. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa lembaga tataniaga yang terlibat adalah petani, pedagang pengumpul I, pedagang pengumpul II, pedagang grosir, pedagang pengecer, dan konsumen (rumah tangga dan industri). Lembaga-lembaga tersebut membentuk 6 variasi saluran tataniaga ubi kayu. Saluran tataniaga yang paling efisien adalah saluran tataniaga ke-5 yang terdiri dari petani, pedangang pengumpul I (desa), pedagang pengecer, dan konsumen akhir dengan marjin terkecil yaitu, Rp2.250 dan rasio keuntungan dan biaya paling tinggi sebesar 4,79. Kata Kunci : tataniaga; ubi kayu; efisiensi

Abstract

Mercury and cyanide are compounds that have the potential to pollute the environment, both of which are found in the tailing waste of artisanal and small-scale gold mining (ASGM). The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of physic nut (Jatropha curcas L.) and citronella grass (Cymbopogon nardus) to absorb mercury and cyanide in soils polluted with tailings waste based on the value of transfer factors. During this research stage, the remediation of soil polluted with amalgamation tailings and cyanide tailings was carried out for 28 days. Soil sampling was carried out every seven days for 28 days, while root and leaf sampling was carried out on day 28, analysis of mercury and cyanide content in soil and plants using atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) and UV-visible spectrophotometer. After 28 days of remediation, mercury and cyanide levels may decrease in soil by 93.7% for mercury and 81.8% for cyanide. The decrease can be caused by absorption and accumulation in plants, where mercury and cyanide accumulate more in physic nut than citronella grass. Physic nut and citronella grass have a transfer factor value of <1 for mercury and cyanide, so they are an excluder plant, except for the accumulation of mercury in physic nut from cyanide tailings soil, which has a transfer factor value of >1, which is an accumulator plant.

Abstract

Vegetable consumption has been on the rise in 2024, and projections suggest that by 2030, it will reach 17.48 million tons, equivalent to 62.4 kg per capita per year. This growing demand presents a valuable opportunity for 13,019 individual agricultural businesses engaged in urban farming. One of the key advantages of hydroponic vegetables is their freshness, as they are sold along with the hydroponic installation itself. However, producing hydroponic spinach, kale, and pakchoy comes with challenges, especially for companies looking to optimize production costs. This study aims to identify the best production combination to minimize expenses. Using linear programming analysis through the LINDO application, this study examines decision variables—hydroponic spinach (H1), kale (H2), and pakchoy (H3)—with constraints based on both internal factors (seeds, nutrients, growing media, planting holes, and labor) and external factors (customer demand). The results indicate a 2.14% cost reduction, amounting to Rp. 8,148,745, with an optimal production mix of 2,696 units of hydroponic spinach, 2,101 units of hydroponic kale, and 2,448 units of hydroponic pakchoy. To further improve cost efficiency, PT Sarindah Wicaksana is advised to carefully allocate resources based on optimal demand and implement a well-structured production plan.
