Abstract

Introduction: M-wallets have become the most prominent financial technology in Indonesia. Thus, discerning the behavioral intention of using m-wallet apps and the related determinants is essential. This study proposes an extended indicator for facilitating conditions to fill the identified gap in previous studies. The influence of facilitating conditions on usage intention is also examined.  Methods: This study employed PLS-SEM to validate our proposed indicator and research hypothesis. 122 m-wallet users in Madiun participated as the research respondents. Data from the respondents was analyzed through reflective and structural assessments.  Results: The findings identified that the QR code policy was valid and reliable as an indicator for facilitating conditions. Through the structural model assessment, the impact of facilitating conditions on usage intention was found to be significant.   Conclusion and suggestion: As a novel contribution, this study has provided the QR code policy as an extended indicator. In this situation, the government plays a consequential role in increasing m-wallet penetration. Moreover, m-wallet providers are suggested to take into consideration facilitating conditions, including user guidance and smartphone compatibility.

Abstract

Introduction: Consideration against educational system quality in the context of the learning management system has increased during the pandemic period. An inconsistent finding concerning the influence of educational system quality on satisfaction has been identified. To fill this gap in the existing literature, this study aims to extend the educational system quality scale and examine its influence on students' satisfaction. Methods: Based on an intensive literature review step, device flexibility was proposed as an extended indicator. To validate and examine the proposed hypothesis, this study employed the quantitative method of PLS-SEM. Data were collected from 90 students who actively used learning management systems. Results: Our findings showed that device flexibility is valid and reliable as an educational system quality indicator. Besides, our proposed hypothesis is also confirmed. Through the structural model assessment, the influence of educational system quality on students' satisfaction is found to be significant.   Conclusion and suggestion: Device flexibility has been proven as an educational system quality indicator. In order to maintain students' satisfaction, system developers are suggested to keep improving learning management system applications, primarily on smartphone devices.

Abstract

Delivery quality discussion in the online food studies received scarce attention. This study examines the direct effect of delivery quality on customer loyalty and its indirect through customer satisfaction as mediating variable. A total of 125 GoFood customers in Madiun participated in this study. By applying Partial Least Squares (PLS) technique to evaluate the conceptual model, this study confirms the indirect effect of delivery quality on loyalty, but not the direct effect. The PLS results indicate the full mediation role of customer satisfaction on the link between delivery quality and customer loyalty. Past studies have mainly focused on the quality of ordering apps in the online food delivery context. This study provides an understanding of delivery quality roles in the current online food studies. Finally, this study informs service providers to ensure on-time delivery in creating their customer loyalty.

Abstract

Introduction: Adopting social media has many benefits for micro-enterprises, particularly in terms of greater marketing exposure. Thus, identification of social media adoption and the associated determinants is essential. This study sets a moderating variable to fill the identified gap in previous studies. Besides, the influence of technological factors as social media adoption determinants is evaluated.  Methods: Employing a purposive sampling procedure, data were obtained via questionnaires distributed to owners or managers of micro-enterprises in Madiun. A total of 120 valid responses were analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM).   Results: The results of this study showed that cost-effectiveness and perceived compatibility positively affect the adoption of social media apps, while relative advantage has no significant influence. Our findings also found that personal innovativeness significantly moderates the relationship between relative advantage and social media adoption. Conclusion and suggestion: As a novel contribution, this study has confirmed the moderating role of personal innovativeness, while some advice for stakeholders, including government and platform developers, is provided.

Abstract

Considering the contradictory finding regarding e-service quality influence toward customer loyalty in the context of online food delivery (OFD) service, we evaluate e-service quality measurement by adding an extended indicator. Our study aims to validate payment flexibility as an extended indicator and examine e-service quality influence on customer loyalty. Data were collected through an online questionnaire involving 100 OFD customers in West Java (Indonesia). The Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) technique was used to analyze data from that answered questionnaire. Interestingly, our findings showed that payment flexibility is valid and reliable as an e-service quality indicator. Moreover, the influence of e-service quality on OFD customer loyalty is found to be statistically significant. Finally, this study provides new insight into the existing knowledge of e-service quality and generates valuable implications. OFD service providers are suggested to ensure order suitability in retaining their customer loyalty.
