Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi pengaruh pemberian ekstrak daun kemangi terhadap performans ayam broiler. Ayam yang digunakan sebanyak 48 ekor dipelihara selama 28 hari. Ayam dipelihara dalam petak kandang sistem panggung berukuran 0,75 x 0,75 x 0,5 meter sebanyak  12 petak dengan masing-masing petak diisi dengan 4 ekor ayam. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2012- Januari 2013 di Kandang Peternakan Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Haluoleo Kendari. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri atas P0 (Air minum tanpa penambahan ekstrak daun kemangi), P1 (Air minum dengan 5 ml ekstrak daun kemangi/liter air minum), P2 (Air minum dengan 10 ml ekstrak daun kemangi/liter air minum), P3 (Air minum dengan 15 ml ekstrak daun kemangi/liter air minum). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan konsumsi air minum berada pada kisaran 157,56±3,89-   165,73±6,79 ml/hari; konsumsi ransum berada pada kisaran 88,70±0,99- 90,23±0,34 gram/hari; pertambahan bobot badan berada pada kisaran 53,46±2,10-58,42±1,56 gram/hari; konversi ransum berada pada kisaran 1,54±0,07- 1,66±0,04 dengan rataan yang dicapai adalah 1,59. Hasil analisis sidik ragam pemberian ekstrak daun kemangi dalam air minum sampai 15 ml/liter terhadap konsumsi air minum, konsumsi ransum, pertambahan bobot badan dan konversi ransum tidak berpengaruh nyata (p>0,05). Kata kunci: Kemangi, Broiler, Performans.

Abstract

Masalah riset yang menjadi fokus utama dalam kajian ini mencakup dua hal, yaitu; bagaimana pemahaman dan implementasi warga korban banjir kelurahan Pasirsari terhadap konsep sabar?; dan bagaimana proses terbentuknya pemahaman dan implementasi kesabaran tersebut dalam konteks sosial budaya dan keagamaan di kelurahan Pasirsari? Penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan field research dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif. Metode kualitatif digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan pemahaman warga mengenai banjir dan bagaimana proses terbentuknya. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif-evaluatif, diikuti dengan explanatory analysis, critical analysis dan analisis komparatif. Di antara hasil penelitian ini adalah di kalangan masyarakat korban banjir teridentifikasi tiga aspek dari kesabaran saja, yaitu ahwal, aqwal dan af’al. Sehingga aspek internal act dalam pandangan warga hanya meliputi ahwal saja. Sedangkan aspek external act meliputi ucapan (aqwal) dan tindakan (af’al).

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to reveal what communication strategies used by an English teacher in communication with first-grade students of MTs NW Bonjeruk. The research used a qualitative approach, more specifically classroom discourse analysis in analyzing this study since the source of the data was communication strategies which are used by an English teacher in communicating with students during an English teaching-learning activity. The result of the study showed that there were four of five communication strategies proposed that appeared in the teaching-learning process. They were achievement or compensatory strategies, stalling or time gaining strategies, self-monitoring strategies, and interactional strategies. The strategy which was not found in the transcription is avoidance or reduction strategy. Based on the results of the study, the teacher often uses code-switching more than other strategies.

Abstract

Becoming a professional Arabic teacher needs knowledge, skills, accuracy, strategy, and perseverance. Besides that, a professional teacher of Arabic also needs interesting methods in the teaching and learning process. There are so many teaching methods used in the foreign language teaching and learning. However, some of them are not appropriate to be used. Each of them has strengths and weaknesses, so it is better for a foreign language teacher, especially Arabic teacher not to rely on one method only, but he should choose and determine the appropriate methods which is relevant with the learning material in order to create fun learning process.

Abstract

The program is aimed at empowering the Penelando community members which is unified in Tourism awareness arisen community at the Sagik Mateng village. The team of lecturers from English study department of Mandalika University of Education conducted a program by providing training and practical guidance of English conversation to fifteen members of the culture Community of Penelando Jerowaru, East Lombok. Through this program, the team of lecturers empowered the community members by trasfering English language skills. The four crucial steps: planning, coordination, execution, and evaluation of method were used in the implementing the program . The mastery of the English language skills can be used to introduce the local culture to the tourists who come to visit the village. Mastering English enables the local community to interact with the international world. As well as allowing themto actively participate in sustainable tourism promotion. Through English mastery, the community may enrich multicultural education, as well as developing local arts and cultures tobe enjoyed by the global audiences. The English language skills mastered by the community are expected to preserve local identity, ensuring that cultural values and traditions remain alive in the context of globalization. By the end of the program, the team were successfully integrated English as a strategic tool to preserve and promote the unique local culture of Sagik Mateng village on the international stage through visiting tourists.

Abstract

This investigation deal with quasi experimental in the form non-randomize control group design or non-equivalent by purposing at finding out teaching reading through three stay one stray. The investigation used total sampling technique in determining the sample of the research. The data was taken by using test in the form of multiples choice and it analyzed by using descriptive statistic and inferential analysis. Based on the data analysis was gotten that the result of analysis shown that t-test was higher than t-table. It can be inferred that alternative hypothesis accepted and null hypothesis rejected. Therefore, it concluded that there was significant effect teaching reading through three stay one stray

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of Picture to Enhance the ability to master English vocabulary of Fifth Grade Students of SDN 1 Dara Kunci for the 2023/2024 school year. In data collection researchers use observation, test and documentation techniques. The data were analyzed in a qualitative descriptive manner. The study was conducted in 2 cycles starting with preliminary studies. During the study, researchers found that in the pre-cycle, the level of students' vocabulary mastery ability was still low, which was 55.8  % in the range of 40% - 55%. In the first cycle after students were given actions using Picture,  the student's ability level increased to 61.5% and entered the medium criteria (56%-75%). In cycle II after students were given actions based on observations in cycle I, students' vocabulary mastery ability increased to 78.3% so that it was included in the high criteria (76%-100%). From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of Picture can increase student learning activities and increase vocabulary mastery.

Abstract

This study explores how social media contributes to second language acquisition (SLA), focusing on sixth-semester English education students at FBMB UNDIKMA. Using a mixed-methods approach, the research gathered data through surveys and interviews to understand how students interact with English-language content on platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. The quantitative results showed a clear connection between how often students used social media and how much they felt their vocabulary and grammar had improved. Meanwhile, the qualitative findings painted a richer picture: students often picked up new vocabulary by accident, became more attuned to grammar use, and felt more motivated to engage with the language. These findings are consistent with well-established SLA theories, such as Krashen’s Input Hypothesis and Schmidt’s Noticing Hypothesis, which emphasize the value of exposure and awareness in language learning. Overall, the study suggests that social media, while informal, can effectively complement classroom learning—especially when teachers recognize and incorporate students’ existing digital habits into their teaching practices.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of marketing capability, innovation capability and learning capability on the performance of SMEs in the DIY Province. The population of this study is SMEs in the DIY. The subjects of this study are employees, managers and/or owners of SMEs. The research sample of 176 respondents includes employees, managers and/or owners of SMEs in the City of Yogyakarta. The research data were then analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the research results: First, marketing capability has a positive and significant effect on SME performance. Second, innovation capability has a positive and significant effect on SME performance. Third, learning capability has a positive and significant effect on SME performance. Fourth, marketing capability, innovation capability and learning capability have a positive and significant effect on SME performance in the DIY Province.

Abstract

This research was aimed to find out The Effect of Three Stay One Stray towards Students’ Critical Thinking in Reading at MTs NW Darusollihin Kalijaga. The subject of this study was 51 students at second grade of MTs NW Darusollihin Kalijaga. The gorup divided to two classes; they were experiment and control class. 26 students in experimental class and 25 students in control class. In which experiment class consists of 12 males and 14 females and in control class consists of 10 males and 15 females. The researcher gave the critical thinking in reading test by using Three Stray One Stray Strategy to find the students’ critical thinking in reading. In analyzing the data the researcher used descriptive statistics and infrential statistics. Based on the data analysis was gotten that t-test was higher than t-table (5.325 > 1.753)with signification level 5%. Therefore alternative hypothesis accepted and null hypothesis  rejected. Therefore, it concluded that there was significant effect of Three Stay One Stray towards Students’ Critical Thinking in Reading at MTs NW Darusollihin Kalijaga.
