Abstract

Sebagai pusat kota & perekonomian, Malioboro banyak dikunjungi wisatawan domestik dan asing. Maraknya hotel dan obyek wisata di Yogyakarta, terutama Malioboro merupakan peluang besar tidak hanya bagi para pengusaha namun juga pengemudi becak. Dengan semakin bertambahnya jumlah wisatawan asing yang masuk kota Yogyakarta, menuntut para pengemudi becak untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mereka berkomunikasi dalam bahasa Inggris kepada para penumpang asing. Hal inilah yang nantinya menjadi salah satu faktor yang membedakan penghasilan mereka. Tim pengabdian masyarakat memberikan pelatihan bahasa Inggris kepada Paguyuban Tukang Becak di Wilayah Kampung Ketandan Malioboro Yogyakarta dengan tujuan membantu peserta pelatihan untuk bisa berkomunikasi dalam bahasa Inggris dengan wisatawan asing. Kegiatan dimulai dengan menawarkan program pelatihan kepada Ketua Paguyuban, merencanakan materi sesuai kebutuhan para pengemudi becak, membuat modul pelatihan, dan melakukan pelatihan bahasa Inggris. Metode drilling dan roleplay menjadi bagian dari pelatihan. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta dalam menggunakan bahasa Inggris.

Abstract

Intrinsic motivation plays a role in the creators' decision to use English. The urgency of this research arised because some content creators were unaware of the intrinsic motivations that drive them to use English when delivering messages. This quantiative study aims to identify content creators’ four dimensions of intrinsic motivation (interest/enjoyment, perceived ability, effort, and pressure) in using English Data collection was conducted through a closed questions questionnaire disseminated to 32 creators who were scrapped from AllSyars website, used English in some of their postings, and had >50% engagement rate. The descriptive analyses results show content creators’ intrinsic motivation in using English in conveying their messages. The results also indicate the average value of the intrinsic motivation during the content making process. The findings are expected to raise content creators’ self-awareness of intrinsic motivation and help them build and nurture their personal branding on social media.

Abstract

Speaking skills have always been exacting for EFL students in language learning. Intrinsic motivation is said to play an important role in shaping students’ speaking skills. This study aimed to examine the influence of students’ intrinsic motivations on their English-speaking skills. By conducting descriptive quantitative research, data was gathered and processed for data coding, data analysis of normality test, validity and reliability test to get the results. A survey of 128 students explored two dimensions of the Intrinsic Motivation Inventory (IMI) covering students’ interest/enjoyment and perceived competence. The questionnaire that was coded and put into the Linkert Scale also involved reverse-coded questions to validate other questions. The result indicated a significant influence of students’ interest/enjoyment and perceived competence in using English on students’ speaking skills. The results are expected to help students and teachers in terms of student engagement in the classroom. Abstract

Promosi adalah serangkaian tindakan yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran, minat, dan penjualan suatu produk, layanan, atau merek tertentu. Tujuan dari promosi adalah untuk mempengaruhi perilaku konsumen. Pizza Hut adalah sebuah jaringan restoran cepat saji yang terkenal di seluruh dunia. Perusahaan ini mengkhususkan diri dalam menyajikan berbagai jenis pizza, makanan penutup, dan hidangan lainnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan memberikan pertanyaan kepada pelanggan Pizza Hut. Adapun responden sebanyak 384 yang merupakan penggemar Pizza Hut di salah satu outlet di Yogyakarta.adapun tekmik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa hubungan promosi terhadap citra merek Pizza Hut Yogyakarta dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji regresi linear sederhana dimana bahwa thitung 4.845 > ttabel 2.042 sehingga variabel promosi (X) berpengaruh terhadap variabel citra merek (Y), maka hipotesis diterima adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan. Selanjutnya, berdasarkan nilai signifikansi dari tabel Coefficients diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000<0,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel promosi (X) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap variabel citra merek (Y). Seberapa besar pengaruh promosi terhadap citra merek Pizza Hut di kota Yogyakarta pada era covid-19 dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji koefisien determinasi nilai korelasi yaitu senilai 0,675 lalu diperoleh juga koofisien determinasi (R square) sebesar 0,437 berarti sebesar 43,70%.

Abstract

RSUP Dr. Sardjito adalah rumah sakit rujukan nasional yang terletak di Jalan Kesehatan Nomor 1 Sekip, Sinduadi, Mlati, Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Aplikasi "KLIK SARDJITO AJA" adalah Android yang digunakan untuk mengakomodir semua kebutuhan pasien secara digital dengan mengakses satu pintu aplikasi. Aplikasi masih sering mengalami kendala, antara lain sering mengalami masalah saat antre susah serta lama. Solusi berupa penambahan fitur Jadwal dokter, Status resep, dan Info Ruang Rawat. Android adalah sistem operasi berbasis Linux yang dirancang khusus untuk perangkat mobile, seperti smartphone, tablet, dan smartwatch. Perancangan sistem ini nantinya akan dikembangkan berbasis android agar lebih memudahkan dan dapat didapatkan di Google Playstore. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membangun desain sistem layanan pasien berbasis android di RSUP Dr. Sardjito berbasis Android. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah literature review dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah rencana sistem berupa use case dan flowchart aplikasi

Abstract

Informatics grows fast along with articles related to it and the students of STMIK AMIKOM need to have the ability to read comprehensively to deal with her study and work place. This case study is aimed to explore and find the pattern of student's socioaffective strategies in reading and how they are applied. As the socioaffective strategy found, it will be easier for the teachers to provide English reading materials that suit their strategy preferences, more enjoyable for the students, and raise students' awareness of socioaffective strategy. Hopefully, it will lead students to become autonomous in reading, foster their good adjustment in study and work place, bring a broader awareness of socioaffective strategy in reading, and invites further research related to this strategy. A preliminary observation was taken to choose one Information System student of semester 3, who had just experienced reading class, as this project participant. Data were collected through interviews with 16 indicators of socioaffective strategy. Steps of data analysis and data coding system were also prepared to make the research and data analysis easier. Result shows that the participant applied 13 of 16 socioaffective strategies. A good self-confidence and maturity make her be able to encourage herself to be sure of what she does. Student's taking emotional temperature strategy through taking risk wisely and cooperating with peers -as part of cooperating with others' strategy- seemed to be student's best preferences among others.Keywords: strategy, socioaffective strategy, and reading
