Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat konsentrasi belajar peserta didik kelas III SD Negeri Tembong 2 dalam proses pembelajaran. Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya konsentrasi dalam proses pembelajaran yang menentukan hasil belajar peserta didik. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pengambilan subjek dalam penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah subjek tiga orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan dokumentasi secara langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dari ketiga subjek memiliki tingkat konsentrasi yang berbeda. Subjek A dengan nilai hasil belajar tinggi memiliki tingkat konsentrasi yang tinggi. Subjek B dengan nilai hasil belajar sedang memiliki tingkat konsentrasi sedang. Sedangkan subjek C dengan nilai hasil belajar rendah memiliki tingkat konsentrasi yang rendah.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the difficulty of students in determining the main idea in a paragraph. The research approach used is a qualitative approach with research methods in the form of descriptive research methods.  Data sources taken in the form of interviews, observations, journals, articles, books, and other scientific works that are relevant and in accordance with the object of research study. Data collection techniques used, namely observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses analysis from Miles and Huberman. The results showed that there were 2 causes of students' difficulties in determining the main idea of a paragraph, namely internal and external factors, internal factors include, 1) students do not understand the main idea of a paragraph; 2) students have not been able to distinguish between which are the main sentences and explanatory sentences; 3) students do not like the main idea material; 4) lack of interest in reading in students. While external factors include, 1) the lack of teacher methods and strategies in providing main idea material so that students dislike main idea material; 2) the use of local languages that become everyday language.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to find out how influential digital technology is on the character of students. This research is a qualitative research, which was conducted at SDN Sanding 02. The results of the research state that most students are too focused on the digital world, by using cellphone screens freely and using them for a long time, causing children's character to decline and they become lazy in learning. Only 28% or 7/25 students are active in studying and have good character. This digital era has a huge impact on children's personality values. Therefore, character education in the current digital era is very important because we rarely see children playing traditional games like before. Traditional games can foster affection and closeness, and children become more creative when using these traditional games. Therefore, parents, teachers and society play an important role in this problem. So that students as heirs of the nation  have good ethics so they can contribute to creating a just, peaceful and prosperous national life in the digital era.

Abstract

Waste is anything that is thrown away because it is no longer needed, and not needed. The problem is that many elementary school students still lack the knowledge to manage waste and sort waste by type. Even students who already understand have a tendency to litter. The purpose of this study was to increase elementary school students' awareness of the importance of disposing of waste properly and how to use the 4Rs approach to recycle waste materials into new products. Qualitative research using descriptive observational design was the methodology used. The research methodology was implemented through open-ended interviews, participant-led focus group discussions, literature review, and field survey. According to the research findings, a large number of students still lack knowledge about the different types of waste and how to dispose of them. One of the recommendations that can be given is to socialize to students about proper waste management so that they can utilize it and educate the community on how to utilize waste and minimize waste so that there is no accumulation of waste in landfills that can cause new problems or diseases.

Abstract

Indonesia is currently facing two different nutrition crises due to shifting nutrition. Based on the findings of nutrition screening conducted in a number of elementary schools in Cilincing Subdistrict, North Jakarta, malnutrition occurs in 28% of the population, with the prevalence of obesity being three times greater than underweight. Malnutrition can interfere with normal growth and development of children, increase the risk of disease, and increase hospital costs. After a meeting with the school, it was decided that nutrition education was needed for elementary school students as they had never received nutrition teaching before. The aim of this study was to improve knowledge about balanced nutrition among school-age children and school administrators. In SD Rorotan 03 and SD Rorotan 07, Cilincing sub-district, North Jakarta, the nutrition education was conducted in April 2018 after preparation in March 2018. "Tumpeng Gizi Balang" (TGS), "10 Messages of Balanced Nutrition," and a Santing Decline Chart" were among the education resources. The research findings show that raising primary school students' awareness of balanced nutrition can be achieved through lecture-style nutrition teaching. Education participants know the types of foods that make up the staple diet, as well as fruits, vegetables, and protein sources. Therefore, nutrition education is a successful program to improve primary school students' knowledge, attitudes and behaviours regarding balanced nutrition.

Abstract

Dalam perjalanan kehidupan, manusia sering kali dihadapkan dengan tantangan dan impian yang perlu diwujudkan. Namun, seperti yang kita tahu, tidak semua yang kita inginkan bisa tercapai. Oleh karena itu, kita perlu berusaha dan memiliki keyakinan kepada diri sendiri untuk menuju keberhasilan. Konsep yang menjadi kunci dalam proses ini adalah efikasi diri. Efikasi diri mencerminkan keyakinan pribadi manusia terhadap kemampuannya untuk mencapai tujuan, menghadapi rintangan, dan mengatasi tantangan. Konsep efikasi diri telah menjadi pusat perhatian dalam beberapa disiplin ilmu, termasuk psikologi, manajemen, maupun pendidikan.Dalam disiplin ilmu pendidikan, efikasi diri memiliki peran penting untuk memotivasi siswa dalam proses belajar. Penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat efikasi diri yang dimiliki siswa, semakin besar pula motivasi belajarnya. Oleh karena itu, pemahaman tentang pengaruh efikasi diri terhadap prestasi siswa dan strategi pendidikan yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan efikasi diri siswa sangatlah penting. Untuk menjelajahi peran efikasi diri dalam konteks pendidikan, penelitian ini akan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode studi pustaka akan digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yang relevan dari sumber-sumber yang terkait. Analisis data akan dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi pola dan temuan yang muncul dari literatur yang diselidiki. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini akan memberikan wawasan yang mendalam tentang peran efikasi diri dalam motivasi belajar siswa dan strategi pendidikan yang dapat meningkatkan efikasi diri siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian kali ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana peran motivasi dalam meningkatka keberhasilan belajar siswa sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian kali ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dimana Pengumpulan data pada penelitian kali ini diperoleh dari hasil study pustaka dengan mengumpulkan bahaan bacaan yang sesuai dengan isu yang diambil langkah selanjutnya yaitu data dianalisis dan didisajikan dalam bentuk deskriptif. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian kali ini yaitu Motivasi berperan sangat penting dalam meningkatkan keberhasilan belajar siswa sekolah dasar. peserta didik yang belajar tanpa adanya motivasi akan sangat sulit mencapai keberhasilan belajar, sebab seseorang yang tidak memiliki motivasi belajar atau motivasi dalam belajarnya menurun akan berakibat pada kegiatan belajarnya dengan tidak bersungguh-sungguh.

Abstract

Numeracy literacy skills are very important for students to have. Because these skills can help someone to gain the basic skills needed to achieve success in life. By having good numeracy literacy skills, students will be better prepared to face current developments, especially in the 21st century which is relatively fast and dynamic. Apart from that, students are able to think rationally, systematically and critically in solving existing problems. This research aims to describe the process of strengthening numeracy literacy through arithmetic extracurricular activities at Tirtayasa Islamic Elementary School. This research uses qualitative/descriptive methods. This research directly involved the supervisor of extracurricular arithmetic activities as a research participant. The data obtained was through interviews and observations. The research results show that Tirtayasa Islamic Elementary School has provided guidance to students to improve their numeracy literacy skills through arithmetic extracurricular activities.

Abstract

Speaking is one of the most important language skills and is often used in a variety of everyday situations. However, students' speaking skills are still relatively low due to a lack of confidence and limited access to support resources in the learning process. To overcome this problem, the role-playing method can be applied as an effective active learning approach to improve speaking skills. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the role-playing method in improving students' speaking skills at the elementary school level. This research was conducted by a literature review method to analyze relevant publications on Google Scholar. Based on the results of the review, the role-playing method proved to be an interesting, innovative, and highly effective learning strategy in developing speaking skills in elementary school students.
