Abstract

The goal of this study is to strive for the development of Inland Waterway Transport Modes is Lake Transportation in the Great Lakes in the province of West Sumatra. From the results of this study, have to be identified that Lake Transport Operations in the Great Lakes region West Sumatra is not optimal or decreases caused by network connectivity growing tissues lan existing highway around the lake. But if referred to the National Development Direction of Lake Transporton, trying ahead of 2020, the National Transportation Lake cultivated as Inland Waterway Transport Modes to support the Tourism Sector. Then the results of the study recommends that Travel Fleet Superintendent has Dead ri, reformed into a fleet that is able to serve Potential Flow Needs Travelers.

Abstract

Abstract Transportation problems appear as a result of the rapid population growth rate, creating housing areas and community activities, which generate trips. This study aims to determine the trip generated by the residential areas in the Village of Dadok Tunggul Hitam consisting Green Arya, Rumah Idaman Wisma Lestari, Perumdam, Permata Dadok, and Trisandi Indah settlements. These residential areas change the land function that would later cause problems. The community activities generate trips toward the city center. The secondary data were collected from the government agencies and the primary data were collected through direct Surveys. Variables used in this study are the size of the household, car ownership, income level, and the number of working family members. The data were then analyzed using descriptive techniques and linier regression method. The results show the number of trips produced each day and factors that influence the trips generated. Keywords: housing, trip generation, household size, vehicle ownership  Abstrak Permasalahan transportasi muncul sebagai suatu akibat laju pertumbuhan penduduk yang relatif pesat yang menyebabkan munculnya kawasan perumahan dan kegiatan masyarakat yang menimbulkan bangkitan perjalanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bangkitan perjalanan yang diproduksi oleh perumahan di Kelurahan Dadok Tunggul Hitam, yang terdiri atas perumahan Green Arya, Rumah Idaman Wisma Lestari, Perumdam, Permata Dadok, dan Trisandi Indah. Kawasan perumahan ini menyebabkan berubahnya fungsi guna lahan yang menimbulkan permasalahan. Kegiatan masyarakat menyebabkan timbulnya bangkitan perjalanan yang menuju ke pusat kota. Metode yang digunakan pada tahap pengumpulan data adalah survei data sekunder ke instansi-instansi pemerintahan dan survei data primer. Variabel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah ukuran rumah tangga, tingkat kepemilikan kendaraan, tingkat pendapatan, dan jumlah anggota keluarga yang bekerja. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kategori, analisis deskriptif, dan analisis regresi linier. Dari hasil analisis tersebut diketahui bahwa jumlah perjalanan yang diproduksi dalam satu hari serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perjalanan yang dibangkitkan. Kata-kata kunci: perumahan, bangkitan perjalanan, ukuran rumah tangga, kepemilikan kendaraan

Abstract

Abstract. Padang-Jakarta is one of the traffic routes in Indonesia on a national scale that can be categorized as busy. Every day people involved in diverse activities travel between both cities. Current conditions indicate that the people traveling between the two cities are served by 2 modes of transportation, i.e. public inter-city/inter-province (AKAP) bus services and domestic airlines operating daily. In his study, the favored transportation modes used to travel between both cities were analyzed by applying stated preference and  discrete choice modeling to find the service attributes and variables that have the most significant influence on the traveler’s satisfaction when using both alternative transportation modes. After analyzing the data collected from a total of 100 randomly selected persons with the stated preference approach, one of the results obtained was: Umode i = 1.723 + 2,618T - 0,004C + 7,180VT, which means that value of time (VT) affected traveler satisfaction significantly more than attributes such as total travel time (T) and total cost of the trip (C). Therefore, the probability of air transportation to be used for traveling the route Padang-Jakarta is larger (52%) than that of the alternative transportation mode (AKAP public bus). This means that the providers of both modes of transportation, airlines and AKAP public bus services, should focus their attention on timeliness of departure, departure frequency and delay minimization while maintaining the other attributes of their service, such as affordable tariffs, fleet condition, as well as others. Keywords. Abstract

The Government’s idea to propose Calon Haji (Calhaj) transportation by sea is a good suggestion but needs to be well calculated. Sea transportation has specific and different characteristic than other transportation modes, such as air transportation. At the current economic condition, the availability of sea transportation has become a primary transportation choice, since it is cheaper than air transportation. Using Binary Logit Model Approach, this article discusses the choice of transportation by Calon Haji using Binary Logit Model Approach

Abstract

Abstract In this study, observations were made of the distribution of trips, which is the mobilization of inter-city communities within the province, in the province of West Sumatra. Observations were made during the Covid-19 pandemic, when the Government established policies that limited people's travel, to prevent the transmission of Covid-19. People's travel between a district or city and another district or city is limited, even though the district or city is in the same province. In this study, 4 zones were selected as observation areas, all of which are located in West Sumatera Province, namely Solok Regency, Padang Pariaman Regency, Pesisir Selatan Regency, and Padang City. To estimate the number of trips that occur in the future, a growth model is used, with 5 methods, namely the uniform method, the average method, the Fratar method, the Detroit method, and the Furness method. This study shows that the number of future trips calculated using the uniform method is 25045 trips. The average method, Fratar method, and Furness method give the same result for the number of trips in the future, which is 24435 trips. While the Detroit method gives the number of future trips of 24112 trips. Keywords: travel distribution; community trips; the Covid-19 pandemic; growth models. Abstrak Pada studi ini dilakukan pengamatan sebaran perjalanan, yang merupakan mobilisasi masyarakat antarkota dalam provinsi, di wilayah Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Pengamatan dilakukan pada masa pandemi Covid-19, ketika Pemerintah menetapkan kebijakan yang membatasi perjalanan masyarakat, untuk mencegah penularan Covid-19. Perjalanan masyarakat antara suatu kabupaten atau kota dengan kabupaten atau kota yang lain dibatasi, walaupun kabupaten atau kota tersebut berada dalam wilayah provinsi yang sama. Pada studi ini dipilih 4 zona sebagai wilayah pengamatan, yang semuanya berada di Provinsi Sumatera Barat, yaitu Kabu-paten Solok, Kabupaten Padang Pariaman, Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan, dan Kota Padang. Untuk memperkirakan jumlah perjalanan yang terjadi di masa mendatang, digunakan model pertumbuhan, dengan 5 metode, yaitu metode seragam, metode rata-rata, metode Fratar, metode Detroit, dan metode Furness. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa jumlah perjalanan di masa mendatang yang dihitung dengan menggunakan metode seragam adalah 25045 perjalanan. Metode rata-rata, metode Fratar, dan metode Furness memberikan hasil yang sama untuk jumlah perjalanan di masa mendatang, yaitu 24435 perjalanan. Sedangkan metode Detroit memberikan jumlah perjalanan di masa mendatang sebesar 24112 perjalanan. Kata-kata kunci: sebaran perjalanan; perjalanan masyarakat; pandemi Covid-19; model pertumbuhan.

Abstract

Transportasi tidak dapat dipisahkan dari pertumbuhan wilayah, karena transportasi sangat besar peranannya dalam mendukung aktivitas masyarakat. Pergerakan menuju suatu tempat tujuan aktifitas, dapat dilayani oleh beberapa moda transportasi. Sistem transportasi di Kota Padang saat ini didominasi oleh transportasi melalui jalan raya, sedangkan sebuah sistem transportasi untuk masa depan yang sehat dari segi lingkungan hidup harus  lebih diperhatikan oleh pemangku kepentingan yaitu moda transportasi berbasis rel berupa kereta api. Penelitian  ini bertujuan untuk mengamati apakah moda transportasi kereta api yang diintegrasikan dengan moda transportasi jalan raya (Bus BRT Trans Padang dan Mikrolet) sebagai angkutan perkotaan  di kota Padang diminati oleh masyarakat untuk melakukan perjalanan antar zona dalam kota, karena pihak penyedia jasa dalam hal ini PT. Kereta Api Indonesia Devisi Regional Sumatera Barat, telah mempersiapkan komponen sistem transportasinya berupa merenovasi jalur rel dan beberapa stasiun yang ada di dalam wilayah administrasi kota Padang yang dulu pernah sempat mati suri.

Abstract

Sebaran perjalanan merupakan jumlah (banyaknya) perjalanan/yang bermula dari suatu zona asal yang menyebar ke zona tujuan atau sebaliknya jumlah (banyaknya) perjalanan/yang datang mengumpul ke suatu zona tujuan yang tadinya berasal dari sejumlah zona asal. Wilayah studi yang dipilih adalah 4 zona yang ada di Kota Solok diantaranya Kelurahan Simpang Rumbio, Kelurahan KTK, Kelurahan Tanjung Paku dan Kelurahan Aro IV Korong. Penelitian menggunakan model pertumbuhan untuk mengetahui perjalanan mendatang pada 4 zona di Kota Solokdengan 5 metode dan dengan melakukan pengulangan atau iterasi hingga hasil pertumbuhan nya berada antara 0,99 dan 1,01. Pada hasil penelitian metode seragam di dapatkan 25045 perjalanan dengan pertumbuhan 1,025, metode rata-rata di dapatkan 24435 perjalanan dengan iterasi I dan pada metode Detroit di dapatkan 24112 perjalanan dengan iterasi I. dari penelitian tersebut metode Detroit menunujukan pertambahan yang normative di bandingkan yang lain sebab menaiknya jumlah perjalanan mendatang.
