Abstract

Idealnya suatu daerah yang memiliki aset serta potensi sumber air bersih berasal dari mata air perlu adanya upaya perlindungan fungsi mata air untuk tetap berkelanjutan, salah satunya dengan melakukan kegiatan konservasi vegetatif. Kegiatan konservasi vegetatif dilakukan di sekitar mata air Cinyusu di Desa Tamansari Kabupaten Serang dengan menanam 120 bibit pohon. Bibit pohon yang ditanam adalah pohon jati bongsor (Anthocephalus cadamba); pohon mahoni (Swietenia mahagoni); pohon kayumanis (Cinnamomum verum); pohon kayu ulin (Eusideroxylon zwageri); dan pohon sengon (Albizia chinensis) yang diperoleh dari Dinas Kehutanan dan Perkebunan Provinsi Banten. Metode pendekatan Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) diterapkan dengan mengikutsertakan masyarakat untuk peduli terhadap lingkungan serta memotivasi masyarakat luas untuk sama-sama bergerak mensosialisasikan manfaat penanaman pohon. Kegiatan konservasi vegetatif mampu menyelamatkan mata air Cinyusu dari zat berbahaya serta bakteri sehingga terpelihara kualitasnya. Memberikan dampak terhadap proses resapan air ke dalam tanah agar dapat memicu munculnya mata air baru sehingga keberadaannya selalu tersedia sepanjang waktu. Ideally, an area with assets and potential sources of clean water from springs needs to protect the function of the springs from remaining sustainable, one of which is by carrying out vegetative conservation activities. Vegetative conservation activities were carried out around the Cinyusu spring in Tamansari Village, Serang Regency, by planting 120 tree seedlings. Tree seeds planted are big teak trees (Anthocephalus cadamba); mahogany trees (Swietenia mahagoni); cinnamon trees (Cinnamomum verum); trees ironwood (Eusideroxylon zwageri); tree sengonAlbizia chinensis) obtained from the Forestry and Plantation Service of Banten Province. Approach method Asset-Based Community Development is applied by involving the community to care about the environment and motivating the wider community to move together to socialize the benefits of tree planting. Vegetative conservation activities can save Cinyusu springs from harmful substances and bacteria to maintain their quality. It impacts the process of water infiltration into the ground so that it can trigger the emergence of new springs so that their presence is always available.

Abstract

Desa Tegal Wangi merupakan wilayah yang masuk  Kecamatan Menes Kabupaten Pandeglang Provinsi Banten. Daerah tersebut memiliki sentra usaha skala rumah tangga yaitu memproduksi olahan melinjo menjadi makanan ringan berupa keceprek dan emping.Efek samping dari kegiatan usah tersebut juga limbah Rumah Tangga berupa sampah organik dan anorganik salahsatunya berupa plastik. Sampah plastik sulit terurai oleh tanah butuh waktu yang sangat lama ratusan bahkan ribuan tahun. Kondisi ini mengakibatkan sampah plastik akan semakin banyak berserakan dan membahayakan makhluk hidup di Bumi. Dalam menanggulangi serta mengurangi bahaya sampah plastik data juga sampah plastik tersebut di bakar namun usaha ini menimbulkan permasalahn baru yaitu polusi udara sehingga kurang efektik oleh karena itu  diperlukan usaha agar sampah plastik menjadi lebih berguna diantaranya bisa dijadikan bahan biji plastik, ekstraksi minyak, ecobrick.Kegiatan KKM kelompok 83 Untirta salah saatunya melakukan pelatihan ecobrick kepada masyarakat Desa Tegalwangi sebagai salah satu solusi untuk menanggulangi sampah plastik, sehingga menjadi sesuatu yang lebih bermanfaat yang dapat digunakan oleh masyarakat. Tegal Wangi Village is an area that belongs to Menes District, Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province. The area has a household-scale business center, namely producing processed melinjo into snacks in the form of keceprek and emping. The side effect of these business activities is also household waste in the form of organic and inorganik waste, one of which is plastik. Plastik waste is difficult to decompose by the soil, it takes a very long time, hundreds or even thousands of years. This condition causes plastik waste to be more and more scattered and endanger living things on Earth. In tackling and reducing the dangers of plastik waste, data and plastik waste are burned, but this effort creates a new problem, namely air pollution so it is less effective, therefore efforts are needed to make plastik waste more useful, including being used as material for plastik seeds, oil extraction, ecobricks. KKM group 83 Untirta is one of the times to conduct ecobrick training for the people of Tegalwangi Village as a solution to deal with plastik waste, so that it becomes something more useful that can be used by the community.

Abstract

Energi baru yang berasal dari proses alam yang memanfaatkan tenaga aliran air sebagai sumber penghasil energi hingga saat ini masih layak untuk di kembangkan. Sejalan dengan Rencana Induk Riset Nasional Tahun 2017-2045, pembangkit listrik tenaga mikrohidro (PLTMH) merupakan salah satu alternatif sumber energi berkelanjutan yang mampu memenuhi kebutuhan listrik masyarakat melalui pemberdayaan aliran sungai termasuk kategori clean energy serta ramah lingkungan. Dampak positif langsung bagi masyarakat mampu menciptakan desa mandiri energi khususnya bagi desa yang termarjinalkan secara ekonomi. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian tim pengusul bersama mahasiswa dan masyarakat yang berada di aliran Sungai Cilemer melaksanakan kegiatan studi awal penentuan lokasi potensial pengembangan PLTMH meliputi tahapan survei lapangan. Hasil survei dan observasi lapangan diperoleh 3 (tiga) lokasi potensial untuk dikembangkan PLTMH dimana alirannya berasal dari saluran induk Bendung Pasir Eurih Kabupaten Pandeglang Provinsi Banten. New energy originating from natural processes that utilize the power of the flow of water as a source of energy is still feasible to be developed. In line with the National Research Master Plan for 2017-2045, micro hydropower plants (MHP) are an alternative source of sustainable energy that can meet the electricity needs of the community through empowering river flows, including the category of clean energy and environmentally friendly. The direct positive impact for the community is to be able to create energy-independent villages, especially for economically marginalized villages. Through community service activities, the proposer team along with students and the community in the Cilemer River carried out initial study activities to determine the potential location for the development of MHP including the field survey stage. The results of the survey and field observations obtained 3 (three) potential locations for MHP development where the flow comes from the main channel of Pasir Eurih Weir, Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province.

Abstract

Kegiatan anak sipil bangun desa (ASBES) menjadi salah satu kegiatan Himpunan Mahasiswa Sipil (HMS) Untirta untuk mewujudkan kepedulian terhadap masyarakat desa. Kegiatan kali ini dilaksanakan di Desa Pasirwaru Kab Serang Banten, dimana permasalahan yang ada di desa tersebut kurangnya ketersediaan air bersih untuk pemakaian sehari-hari penduduk desa. Pembuatan Bak penampung air bersih dari Beton dilakukan sebagai upaya pembantuan dalam memecahkan masalah kurangnya ketersediaan air bersih. Bak penampung dirancang berdasarkan kebutuhan masyarakat desa.Anak sipil bangun desa (ASBES) activity is one of the Untirta Civil Student Association (HMS) activities to realize concern for the village community. This activity was carried out in Pasirwaru Village, Serang Regency, Banten, where the problem was the lack of clean water availability for the daily use of the villagers. Making clean water reservoirs from concrete is carried out to assist in solving the problem of the lack of clean water availability. The reservoir is designed based on the needs of the village community.
