Abstract

The State Civil Apparatus (ASN) is an occupation for civil servants and government employes with employment contracts who work for government agencies and play a very fundamental role in maintaining the unitary state of the Republic of Indonesia. ASN urgencies include the implementation of public policies, civil servants and the connected the nation must be able to act as organizers of government and developmental missions through the implementation of policies and professional public services. In fulfilling its function as a link and unification of the nation, ASN must strive to protect the integrity of the unitary state of the Republic of Indonesia from terrorism crimes that can break the sovereignty anchored in Bineka Tunggal Ika. Dirrect speak and written expressions of opinions on social media don’t contain elements of hate speech against to Pancasila, the Constitution, Bhineka Tunggal Ika, the Unified State of the Republic of Indonesia and the government. Don’t convey information that shows the nuances of hate speech against ethnicity, race, religion, and between groups. ASN doesn’t participate in activities that lead to insult, incitement, provocation or hatred of Pancasila, the Constitution, Bhineka Tunggal Ika, the Unified State of the Republic of Indonesia and the government.

Abstract

Having the ability to compile textbooks that can be used in learning is certainly one of the factors that can support a teacher's professionalism. However, to be able to write well you need continuous practice and knowing writing tools, one of which is a tool that can add references and bibliography. Therefore, applications are needed that can help teachers add references and bibliography, namely Publish or Perish (PoP) and Zotero. This research aims to describe the use of the PoP and Zotero digital applications in the process of preparing textbooks by the board of teachers at the Royatul Islam Islamic Boarding School, consisting of twenty teachers. The methods applied in this activity are lecture, demonstration and simulation methods. The flow of implementing this research is divided into three stages, namely the preparation stage, implementation stage, and evaluation stage. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis techniques. The research results showed that 90% of participants answered that they were able to operate the PoP digital application to find references in compiling textbooks. Apart from that, 90% of training participants in using this digital platform agreed that the PoP and Zotero applications would increase their knowledge and skills in searching for references and bibliography in compiling textbooks

Abstract

The Information Technology era inseparably intertwines students' behavior with internet usage through computers, laptops, and gadgets. Da'wah (Islamic preaching) is a responsibility for every Muslim, regardless of their profession, requiring effective means for its delivery. Social media serves as a platform for accessing and disseminating moral messages of da'wah. This qualitative descriptive research focuses on the utilization of social media by students for obtaining and spreading Islamic da'wah content. The study involves students of Islamic Education at UIN Batusangkar, specifically the 2023 cohort. Data collection employed a questionnaire distributed to 50 students from December 6 to December 15, 2023. Key findings reveal that 100% of students possess social media applications, with 86% favoring Instagram. Furthermore, 100% have encountered digital da'wah, 78% consistently receive it through the "For You Page" (FYP) feature, and 94% have shared digital da'wah. The predominant platform for disseminating da'wah content is WhatsApp (78%), driven by the goal of earning continuous rewards (pahala jariyah) for sharing beneficial knowledge (88%).

Abstract

Horror films circulating in Indonesia today can be watched by anyone from various social media, including underage elementary school students. As a result of watching this horror film, students often fantasize and imagine everything must be scary and scary. Even students will also write stories about that scary thing in the assignment given by the teacher. This study aims to analyze writings made by elementary school students that reflect horror stories in Indonesian horror films. The subjects of the study were 31 students of SD 05 Nagrek with works containing ghost stories whose contents were almost the same as ghost stories in Indonesian horror films. Research is descriptive qualitative research with observation, interview, documentation methods. The data analysis technique used is the theory of Miles and Huberman which is carried out by means of (1) Data reduction (2) Data presentation (3) Conclusion drawing and verification. Checking the validity of data is carried out by extending observations and triangulation. The triangulation used in this study is source triangulation which is done by checking data that has been obtained through several sources. The results showed that (1) half of the 31 students wrote stories with content that was almost similar to ghost stories filmed in Indonesia. (2) Students get ideas in writing ghost stories from watching themselves, told by friends and just imagining.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the folklore of the disobedient child Ojuang in Riau and its use to compile teaching materials for appreciation texts in vocational schools. This study is qualitative and uses descriptive methods. Description and analysis were carried out on the structure of the folklore of the disobedient child Ojuang, which consists of an analysis of the structure of the folklore. The results of this study are as follows: First, the plot or events that build the story use the law of cause and effect. Second, the main character is played by the child (Ojuang), this character is told quite a lot from beginning to end. The mother and father play other characters. Third, the setting in this story is divided into three parts, namely, the setting of place, the setting of time, and the setting of atmosphere. Fourth, the story of the occurrence of the folklore of the disobedient child Ojuang has a theme about a disobedient child. Disobedience is a trait that is not commendable, so the mother prays to God so that God will teach her child a lesson who does not want to acknowledge his mother. Fifth, the message in this story is (a) to be grateful to God Almighty. (b) Not to forget the services of both parents in any situation and condition.
