Abstract

Model pembelajaran berbasis masalah cocok digunakan dalam pembelajaran fisika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa melalui implementasi model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dalam eksperimen riil f?s?ka. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 15 mahasiswa calon guru IPA di Universitas Negeri Manado yang mengontrak mata kuliah Fisika Dasar I. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes dan observasi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar dan lembar pengamatan. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa (1) hasil belajar mahasiswa pada siklus I sebesar 2,66 meningkat menjadi 3,20 pada siklus II, dan (2) kemampuan keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa pada siklus I sebesar 2,55 meningkat menjadi 3,18 pada siklus II. Dengan demikian, implementasi model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dalam eksperimen riil f?s?ka berhasil meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa.

Abstract

Natural phenomena around form a religious experience in students. The variety of experiences and perceptions that are formed in the cognitive structure can be integrated with formal learning in the classroom in order to strengthen the context-concept relationship or improve individual misconceptions. The purpose of this research is to explore the concept and scientific process of the phenomenon of waving palm trees or coconut trees that swing when blown by the wind. This research uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research was carried out in the physics department of FMIPA Unima. The results showed that the involvement of mentors can build open communication between students in groups and between student mentors and the target group. Cooperation and democratic behavior can be seen when students carry out exploration activities well, so that this learning can realize learning activities to explore objects or contexts, concepts and scientific processes of waving palm phenomena.

Abstract

In today's digital era, the learning system has undergone many changes. Online-based learning has become one of the most important learning models today and one of the learning models that utilize online media such as Blended learning or the use of smartphones. The purpose of this research is to develop an online laboratory guide on pendulum material. The stages that have been carried out in this study: Designing an online laboratory activity guide using a phyphox application-based cellphone. This software development is carried out based on the research and development research collaboration of Research and Development (R & D) including: Analysis / Defining Stage, Design Stage, Development Stage, Testing and Evaluation Phase. The results of the study recommend that the online practicum guide using a phyphox application-based handphone on pendulum material is suitable for optimizing practicum activities in the Physics Department. This collaborative research between lecturers and students can also improve the academic climate, through optimizing lecturer-student interactions.

Abstract

Learning media is a form of innovation in the learning process. The purpose of this research is to develop interactive learning media using the Lectora application as a media for learning physics in schools and to find out the assessment of material experts, media experts and students of interactive learning media using the Lectora application as a learning medium so that this product is suitable for use in the learning process. This research uses research and development methods or often called Research and Development (R&D). Model adapted from the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. The ADDIE model is used to be the basis for developing a device or infrastructure for an effective training program. This model uses 5 stages, namely the Analysis stage. , Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation After going through the process of the stages carried out, the results obtained are that the interactive physics learning media using the Lectora application has met the criteria as a physics learning media that is suitable for use or used in the learning process at school.

Abstract

The first step to learn science is through observation and measurement as a part of the observation. The research was conducted with the aim to improve the processes and student learning outcomes by implementing the teaching through the application of a scientific approach to the method of observation and discussion on the subject of "object IPA and observations". The research was conducted on a class VII SMP Negeri 1 Airmadidi 2015-2016 school year the number of students 30 people. The study design used is a Class Action Research or Classroom Action Research model of John Elliot. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis techniques, where the data described is data about students' ability to master scientific concepts and data on student engagement during the learning process takes place. To obtain the necessary data in this study used the instrument in the form of Student Worksheet (LKS) and tests to determine the level of student mastery of concepts. Result reflections 1 suggested need to proceed to the second cycle because of the 30 students there are 17 students who have not been thoroughly studied. Through learning activities and teaching the second cycle showed that all students have been thoroughly studied and an increase in average student learning outcomes of 64.83 (first cycle) to 74.67 (second cycle). Results of this study concluded that the application of a scientific approach to the method of observation and discussion on the objects of material science and observations can improve the process and the achievements of students of class VII SMP Negeri 1 Airmadidi.

Abstract

This research is related to the use of guided inquiry models with demonstration methods. Research has been conducted to determine the extent to which there is an increase in student learning outcomes after the physics learning class action is carried out with the guided inquiry model using the demonstration method. The research method is a classroom action research (CAR) method that is applied in class X SMK. The results showed that the action of learning can improve student learning outcomes. The increase in learning outcomes can be seen from the increase in the average value in the first cycle and second cycle also an increase in the percentage of mastery learning. Because of that the use of inquiry guidance models using demonstration methods can be used as an alternative in learning science physics in high school. Learning outcomes can be seen from the increase in the average value in the first cycle and second cycle also an increase in the percentage of mastery learning. Abstract

This research was motivated by the problem of accuracy measuring the Atwood machine practicum time caused by the time lag when activating and pausing the stopwatch. The purpose of this research is to produce a practical tool for measuring time, namely an Arduino-based automatic timer that is suitable for use in practical activities in the UNIMA physics laboratory. This research is a research and development model of the ADDIE model which consists of several stages of research, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, finishing of media products. Data collection was carried out by experiment, expert/expert validation. The results of testing the Arduino-based automatic stopwatch tool have a gravity value of 10.095 m/s2 and an error percentage of 2.7% to 3.4% while the validation of material experts and media experts for Atwood aircraft practicum tools and guides using an Arduino-based automatic timer is at criteria 90.4% - 95.2% and the assessment given by a small group is 98.8%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that tools and guides have been produced for time with valid or appropriate qualifications.s.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning outcomes of students who use the Leaning Cycle 7e model assisted by LKS and also see student learning outcomes using conventional models on the physics subjects of Newton's legal material about motion in SMA Negeri 1 Sambuara. This research is a semi experimental study (quasi experiment) with Randomized Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The results showed that students who learned using the Leaning Cycle 7e model assisted by LKS, the average value of learning outcomes was 83.5, while students who learned using the conventional learning model the average value was 77. From these results it can be concluded that the use of the Learning Cycle model 7E assisted LKS is more influential on student learning outcomes than using conventional learning.

Abstract

Research is motivated by the lack of a virtual lab-based deviation and refractive index practicum module, so students are less experienced in using these tools while experimenting. This purpose of this research is to create a virtual lab-based module for prismatic deviation and refractive index. This research is developmental (Research and Development) using a 4D research model adopted from Thiagarajan model i.e. define, design, develop, and disseminate. The result of the group research receive an average value of 83.19%, so that the module is classified in the feasible/valid category. And in the student responses 58.35% said it was very useful (SB), 39.6% said it was useful(B), and 2.05% said it was less useful(KB), no one chose not useful(TB). Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that a product in the form of a basic physics practicum module for the virtual laboratory-based prism deviation and refractive index tool was manufactured with good and appropriate qualifications.

Abstract

Experimental activities are inseparable in learning physics at school. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the experimental method on physics learning outcomes for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Tondano. The method used in this study is an experimental method by presenting treatment to two classes with the same level of ability through the form of learning methods. From the results of the analysis of the data normality test using test statistics on the SPSS program "One Sample Kolmogorov Smirnov Test" version 26, it shows that the samples drawn from the two groups, both from the experimental class and the control class, both come from a normally distributed population. Likewise with the homogeneity test, where both groups showed homogeneous or the same variation. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant effect of the experimental method on learning outcomes of light propagation material in class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Tondano.
