Abstract

Digitalization has become a disruption worldwide, including in Indonesia. One dominant aspect of this phenomenon is digital transactions. Bank of Indonesia (BI) reported that the cumulative value of electronic money transactions for the period of January to August 2024 reached IDR 1.6 quadrillion, representing a 35.76% growth compared to IDR 1.18 quadrillion (yoy). This highlights the role of digital transactions as a solution and convenience for various activities, including online crowdfunding. Crowdfunding is a rooted culture in Indonesia and demonstrates sustainable economic benefits in West Java. This activity does not always run smoothly, as issues arise within crowdfunding management institutions, leading to societal trust issues. Based on this phenomenon, strengthening the digital ecosystem in West Java is worthy of study. This research aims to measure society's digital competence level about digital transaction activities, particularly crowdfunding. This research uses a descriptive analysis method with a quantitative approach. Primary data from 258 respondents were obtained through questionnaire distribution targeting urban and rural communities in West Java was employed. The data were analyzed using simple regression analysis. The results show that the level of digital competence in society is not yet optimal; however, digital competence significantly influences digital transaction activities positively. Therefore, exploration is needed to establish credible crowdfunding management in West Java.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of the 5C credit analysis principles (Character, Capacity, Capital, Collateral, and Conditions of Economics) on the smoothness of murabahah financing payments at KSPPS BMT ItQan Soreang Unit either simultaneously or partially. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSE) often face challenges due to a lack of business capital, despite financial products introduced by institutions like Savings and Loans Cooperatives and KSPPS BMT. Persisting issues in payment smoothness necessitate a comprehensive examination, particularly in credit analysis. This research employs a quantitative approach with logistic regression tests on a sample of 101 respondents using statistical techniques such as  regression analiysis, wald test, and omnibus test of model coefficients. This research highlights the importance of applying the 5C credit analysis principles to improve risk management, policy development, operational efficiency, and financial inclusion in murabahah financing at KSPPS BMT ItQan Soreang Unit. Findings from the Omnibus Test of Model Coefficients confirm that the 5C principles collectively impact payment smoothness. Moreover, the Wald test identifies Character, Capacity, and Conditions of Economics as significant contributors to the effectiveness of murabahah financing payments at KSPPS BMT ItQan Soreang Unit. This research highlights the importance of applying the 5C credit analysis principles to improve risk management, policy development, operational efficiency, and financial inclusion in murabahah financing at KSPPS BMT ItQan Soreang Unit.

Abstract

This study examines how Islamic microfinance contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Indonesia, focusing on BTPN Syariah’s Mekaar program. A qualitative approach was employed, combining thematic analysis with sentiment analytics using Python-based natural language processing (NLP). Data were derived from beneficiary statements, categorized into ten impact areas including poverty alleviation, education, health, empowerment, and sharia values. The results show that the program positively influences SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions). Beneficiaries experienced increased income, improved access to basic services, enhanced financial literacy, and empowerment through sharia-compliant and value-driven financing. Sentiment analysis revealed a predominance of neutral and positive responses, with particularly strong positivity in categories related to spiritual comfort, ethical business practices, and social solidarity. This study concludes that Islamic microfinance, when implemented through a structured, ethical, and mentoring-supported model, functions not only as a financial instrument but also as a strategic development tool aligned with global sustainability goals.
