Abstract

Kudai dance as a medium of collective expression of Semendesociety is identical with the women strength as the source of life. In the aspect of its performance, It contains social interaction through the symbols that is expressed through the aesthetics of the female body.The purpose of the article is to explain the symbolic meaning of Kuadai dance performance expressed by Semende society in Lampung.This research used qualitative method with interdisciplinary approach. The data collection used the technique of observation, interview, and documentation. The data validity was based on the credibility criteria with triangulation technique. The data analysis used the procedure of dance research by Gertrude Prokosch Kurath that is focused on dance analysis especially on symbol and meaning in Kuadai dance. The results showed that Kuadaidance is a form of tradition reality imitation which exists among Semendesociety as an agrarian society that outs forward the tradition of tunggu tubang (the first daughter as a shelter and a manager of family’s treasure. The personality of tunggu tubang that is full of patience, consistence, and responsibility is manifested through the Kuadai dance movements.The plate as property is a symbol of a respect as well as a representation of a woman that should be treated gently, carefully, lovingly, and with sacred. The dominant floor pattern symbolizes the Semende society that always respects the customs’ regulation. The dance accompaniment with slow tempo symbolizes Semende society that is full of tranquility and togetherness.

Abstract

Cangget Bakha merupakan tradisi upacara adat yang dilaksanakan oleh masyarakat Lampung beradat Pepadun pada saat bulan purnama selepas panen. Cangget Bakha dahulu penyelenggaraannya terikat dalam rangkaian adat Begawi Cakak Pepadun dan yang menarikan terbatas hanya dilakangan anak-anak Penyimbang, maka dalam konteks kekinian fungsi tersebut disesuaikan dengan perubahan zaman melalui proses revitalisasi. Revitalisasi Cangget Bara Festival merupakan upaya pembaharuan penampilan sebuah tarian tradisi yang biasanya ditarikan pada acara adat, menjadi tari yang dipentaskan dalam acara festival. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa revitalisasi dilakukan melalui tahapan; 1) Tahap Reformulasi yaitu pengembangan gagasan awal pelaksanaan Cangget Bara Festival antara praktisi seni, tokoh adat, Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Lampung Utara, hingga Kementrian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan; 2)  Tahap Komunikasi bergabungnya CBF dalam Festifal Indonesiana; 3) Tahap Organisasi dengan membagi tim kerja berdasarkan tugas dan fungsi; 4) Tahap Adaptasi dan Tahap Transformasi yaitu tahap koordinasi antara pemerintah, budayawan, tokoh adat, pemuda untuk saling bekerjasama mensukseskan acara; 5) Tahap Rutinitas melalui kegiatan latihan rutin di Sanggar Cangget Budayo.

Abstract

This research aims to describe how Arts and Culture Learning Assessment Activities Use the Plickers Application at SMAN 13 Bandar Lampung. There are six stages in carrying out assessment activities, namely determining objectives, determining assessment plans, preparing assessment instruments, collecting data or information, analysis and interpretation, and follow-up. The method used in this research is qualitative with data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that the arts and culture learning assessment activity using the Plickers application includes six stages, namely: (1) Selecting the type of formative assessment, (2) Selecting the form of assessment, accessing the account, creating a name, printing a card, (3) Creating 10 questions and inputting them into plickers application, (4) Start carrying out assessments using the plickers application, (5) Analyze and download answer results and question percentages on the plickers application, (6) Make decisions from student assessment results. As a whole, arts and culture learning assessment activities using the Plickers application have been carried out according to the stages by the teacher and received a positive response from students.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the Evaluation of the Arts and Culture Learning Process Using the Discussion Method at SDN 1 Perumnas Way Kandis. The stages in carrying out an evaluation of the learning process using the discussion method are the planning, implementation and results stages. The method used in this research is qualitative with data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used include the data collection stage, data reduction stage, data presentation stage, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that there are three stages in evaluating the arts and culture learning process using the discussion method at SDN 1 Perumnas Way Kandis. Starting from the planning stage by preparing a Learning Implementation Plan and preparing student assessment instruments. In the implementation stage, the teacher creates a conducive learning atmosphere by asking questions about the material that has been studied, providing direction for the discussion by forming students into four groups and providing the main material. In the results stage, the teacher gives a score to the learning process by looking at affective, cognitive and psychomotor aspects. Student scores on the affective, cognitive and psychomotor aspects of the evaluation of the learning process using the discussion method are used as added value in arts and culture learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi pengembangan media pembelajaran tari yang diterapkan dalam perkuliahan serta dan produk game edukatif yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian action research pada mata kuliah media pembelajaran tari dengan tahapan diagnosing, action planing, action taking dan evaluating secara kolaboratif dengan mahasiswa Pendidikan Tari Universitas Lampung dengan mengambil sampel 5 produk game edukatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pengembangan media pembelajaran tari dilakukan dengan lima tahapan yaitu (1) concept (pengonsepan), (2) mendesain media menggunakan aplikasi, (3) realisasi desain media dalam wujud media konvensional, (4) penyempurnaan kelengkapan media, (5) pendeskripsian alur dan tata cara penggunaan media. Adapun penerapan strategi tersebut menghasilkan produk game edukatif, diantaranya: mosen (monopoli sigeh penguten) merupakan media pembelajaran ragam gerak tari sigeh penguten; scrabb-geh merupakan media pembelajaran ragam gerak tari bedana yang diadopsi dari permainan scrabble atau susun kata; batapung (batu tari Lampung) yang dirancang untuk menunjukkan wilayah persebaran tari tradisi yang ada di Provinsi Lampung; ular tangga sigeh pengunten yang merupakan media pembelajaran yang menggabungkan elemen permainan ular tangga dengan materi pembelajaran tari sigeh pengunten; serta marina (memanah tari bedana) merupakan media pembelajaran ragam gerak tari bedana yang berbentuk permainan panahan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan suatu Tradisi Bukha Akhong sebagai Ide Penciptaan Karya Koreografi Tradisi Buka Akhong. Mahasiswa Pendidikan Tari angkatan 2022 yang sudah melakukan Ujian Akhir Semester yaitu mata kuliah koreografi Tradisi . Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui metode eksploratif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi langsung di lapangan, wawancara dengan tokoh adat serta penari, dan dokumentasi proses penciptaan. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa karya koreografi yang dihasilkan tetap mengacu pada aturan tradisi, tanpa mengubah esensi adat yang sudah ada. Dari tradisi ini diterjemahkan ke dalam bentuk gerak, penggunaan properti, dan kostum, seperti penggunaan pakaian putih sebagai lambang kesucian dan penggunaan tujuh langkah kayu sebagai representasi kehati-hatian dalam ritual. Karya tari ini tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai ekspresi seni, tetapi juga menjadi sarana edukatif dan pelestarian budaya lokal agar tetap dikenal dan dihargai oleh generasi masa kini.

Abstract

Bujang Ganong Dance is one of the traditional art forms originating from Java, which has high cultural and aesthetic values. This study aims to explore the role of Bujang Ganong Dance in stimulating adolescent creativity at the Ngesti Broto Studio. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that participation in Bujang Ganong Dance has a positive impact on the development of adolescent creativity, both in terms of dance art and in terms of social and emotional aspects. Adolescents involved in this studio show an increase in their ability to collaborate, communicate, and express themselves. In addition, this activity also contributes to the preservation of local culture and builds a sense of pride in cultural heritage. The conclusion of this study confirms that Bujang Ganong Dance not only functions as a means of entertainment, but also as an effective tool for developing adolescent creativity and character in the modern era. This study is expected to provide insight for art studio managers and educators in designing more effective programs for the development of adolescent creativity.
