Abstract

Emotional instability in schizophrenia sufferers often triggers the risk of violent behavior (VBD). The phenomenon at Limboto Community Health Center indicates that VBD occurs due to poor anger management in patients, which puts them at risk of harm to themselves and those around them. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of anger management on anger control in RPK patients in the Limboto Community Health Center work area. This research method was a quantitative quasi-experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design approach. The sample consisted of 38 schizophrenia respondents with RPK who were taken using the Slovin formula through a purposive sampling technique. The data collection instrument used the Clinical Anger Scale (CAS) questionnaire which was analyzed using a parametric paired t-test. The results of the study, where before the intervention, the average score of respondents' anger control was 51.74 (moderate category). After being given anger management therapy, the average score of anger control decreased significantly to 31.50 (high category) with a decrease difference of 20.23. The paired t-test results showed a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). The conclusion is that there is a significant effect of anger management intervention on improving anger control skills in patients with RPK at the Limboto Community Health Center. Community health center nurses can implement this intervention as part of independent or group nursing actions to consistently train patients' self-control skills, so that it is effective in minimizing aggressive behavior and reducing relapse rates.

Abstract

Lansia merupakan tahap masa tua dalam perkembangan seseorang pada batas usia 60 tahun keatas..Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor faktor yang berhubungan dengan kunjungan lansia ke posyandu dilks.lu beringin kelurahan hutuo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah analitik korelasional, Rancangan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian sebanyak 43 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sebanyak 35 responden..Hasil penelitian didapatkan sikap baik 20 (57.1%), dukungan keluarga baik 21 (60.0%), pelayanan petugas kesehatan baik 25 (71,4%). Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan uji Chi-Square menyatakan bahwa terdapat hubungan antarasikap dengan kunjungan lansia keposyandu dengan nilai p=0,002 (α<0,05), ada hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan kunjungan lansia dengan nilai p=0,004 (α<0,05), ada hubungan antara pelayanan petugas kesehatan dengan kunjungan lansia dengan nilai p=0,001 (α<0,05). Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan sikap, dukungan keluarga, dan pelayanan petugas kesehatan dengan kunjungan lansia ke posyandu di lks.lu beringin kelurahan hutuo. Disarankan untuk desa hutuo perlu ditingkatkan lagi dukungan keluarga berupa dukungan instrumental pada lansia dengan cara melakukan sosialisai dan melakukan promosi kesehatan pada keluarga yang mempunyai lansia.

Abstract

Data from the Gorontalo Provincial Health Office, show that the target data for the Gorontalo province in 2019 total elderly people reached 125,762, consisting of 22,384 total elderly people in the city of Gorontalo and 40,340 in the district of Gorontalo. And in 2020 the target for the Gorontalo province total elderly to reach 134,958 consisting of 23,678 total elderly living in the city of Gorontalo and 45,312 total elderly in Gorontalo district. Method: The type of research used in this research is an experimental design (one group pre-test post-test design). The object of this research is the elderly who have low self-esteem at Griya Lansia Jannati, Gorontalo City. Subjects in this case study were clients with low self-esteem as many as 3 respondents. Results: Low self-esteem before social group activity therapy was carried out on client 1, namely unable to control emotions and on clients 2 and 3, namely the lack of social interaction after social group activity therapy was carried out on client 1, they were able to control the emotions of clients 2 and 3, they were able to interact social.
