Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze how the role of religious leaders in instilling the philosophy of religious militancy behavior of Kaharingan Hindus in Kahayan Tengah District, Pulang Pisau Regency. Religion as a belief adhered to by Hindus and used as a guide in carrying out various activities, as well as a torch in carrying out a life full of its complexities. The existence of religion requires the role of religious institutions in fostering people who support development. In line with this, it is necessary to have the role of religious leaders in instilling the philosophy of religious militancy behavior of Kaharingan Hindus. Strategic efforts and roles are needed in providing optimal service and guidance for Kaharingan Hindus. Based on the results of observations in the field there is still a lack of understanding of religious teachings, especially Hindu Kaharingan children who study their religious teachings well and build strong beliefs and foster religious militancy for the younger generation of Hindu Kaharingan. So it is important the role of religious leaders in instilling a philosophy of religious militancy behavior for Kaharingan Hindus. This study uses a qualitative method. The results of this study include (1) The Role of Religious Leaders in Instilling the Philosophy of Religious Militancy Behavior of the Kaharingan Hindus including the Role of Religious Figures in Increasing Religious Understanding, Increasing Religious Development, Role for the Young Generation of Hindu Kaharingan, and for Women. (2) The meaning of the Philosophy of Religious Militancy Behavior of Kaharingan Hindus in Kahayan Tengah District, Pulang Pisau Regency includes, Behavior of Religious Firmness, Behavior of Religious Stability, Behavior of Religious Stability, and Behavior of Religious Consistency.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Hindu religious education teachers in instilling a philosophy of multicultural education for Hindu students at SMPN 2 Basarang, Kapuas Regency. Indonesia is a multicultural country consisting of different tribes, languages and religions. This diversity on the one hand is an advantage and wealth of the nation that must be maintained. But on the other hand, this diversity can be a potential for conflict in society. Therefore, an understanding of the nation's motto "Unity in Diversity" must be instilled in the younger generation from an early age so that they are able to play a role in maintaining unity amidst a pluralistic nation. one of the efforts that can be realized in response to this problem is to implement the concept of multicultural education in education in Indonesia. With the role of Hindu religious education teachers in instilling a philosophy of multicultural education for Hindu students, it is hoped that they can improve the quality of education and learning for Hindu students at SMPN 2 Basarang. As for educational institutions, it can later be used as a reference in providing education and learning based on multicultural education at SMPN 2 Basarang, Kapuas Regency.

Abstract

An article related to Hindu rituals taking place in Bali Indonesia, carried out in the Batukaru Temple area in the Wongaya Gede Village Penebel area of ??Tabanan Bali Indonesia named or writing entitled "The Philosophy of Pengurip Gumi Ceremony at Pura Luhur Batukaru in the Contemporary Era". The implementation is carried out from November 2019 to April 2020. The main meaning of the ceremony is to ask God Almighty or Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa to grant the safety and welfare of mankind in this universe.

Enthusiasm for learning so that you concentrate towards successful learning. Love in Hindu philosophy is called heh, body, priti, and sneha. Students should be diligent in studying towards success, not prioritizing the study period as playing love. Come learn the philosophy of love in Sarasamuscaya, Bhagawadgita, Sokantara, Manwadharmaatra, Upanishad, Itiasa, and others.

Abstract

The implementation of Hindu religious education is guided by the curriculum established by the national government. However, there are variations, particularly in Central Kalimantan Province, as Hindu religious teachers integrate Hindu religious material with local Kaharingan teachings as a means of practicing their religion in their daily lives. This is necessary due to the diversity of traditions within the Hindu archipelago, thus minimizing factors that cause conflict and disintegration. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the relevance and potential for integrating local Kaharingan values ​​into the Hindu religious education curriculum. It also aims to explore the values ​​of local Kaharingan wisdom in Hindu Religious Education learning. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, conducted through in-depth exploration at the research location. The results of this study show that the local Kaharingan teaching values ​​integrated into Hindu religious education learning include 1) Lime Sarahan teaching values ​​on the Panca Sradha topic. 2) Hindu Kaharingan ceremony values ​​on the Panca Yadnya topic, 3) Kandayu and Tandak teaching values ​​on the Dharma Gita topic, and 4) Pandehen teaching values ​​on the Dharma Wacana topic. The method of integrating local Kaharingan teaching values ​​in Hindu religious education learning uses practical methods, assignment methods, and methods that can be directly understood by students. It can be concluded that local Kaharingan teaching values ​​can be integrated into Hindu Religious Education learning. With the integration of local Kaharingan values ​​in Hindu religious education learning, not only can it increase students' sradha bhakti and justification of faith, but students can also practice and implement Kaharingan teachings in everyday life in society.
