Abstract

Pemilihan arus pengelasan yang mempengaruhi hasil pengelasan adalah parameter pengelasan, kualitas hasil pengelasan di pengaruhi oleh energi panas yaitu arus las. apabila pemilihan arus las yang kurang tepat maka hasil pengelasan tidak akan teratur, melebar dan tidak rata. Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimen suatu cara untuk mencari hubungan sebab akibat antara dua faktor yang saling berpengaruh. Dengan melakukan pemeriksaan dan pengujian hasil las dengan arus pengelasan terhadap sifat-sifat mekanik hasil las pada poros tekuk baja st. 37 dan st 41 pada perancangan alat penekuk behel manual dengan menggunakan jenis las SMAW DC 400 G dan memakai jenis elektroda E7016 diameter 2,6 mm

Abstract

Turbin angin adalah kincir angin yang bermanfaat untuk membangkitkan tenaga listrik. Dalam kebutuhan akan energi untuk memenuhi perkembangan jaman mengakibatkan bahan bakar dari fosil meningkat, oleh karena itu dibutuhkan energi alternatif lain untuk mengatasi semakin berkurangnya bahan bakar fosil. Salah satu bentuk energi yang ada di alam adalah angin. Oleh karena itu turbin angin mulai dimanfaatkan sebagai pembangkit listrik energi alternatif. Tujuan perancangan ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menguji penggunaan panjang blade 43 cm ,53 cm, dan 63 cm dengan jumlah blade 3 buah yang menghasilkan tegangan output turbin yang paling besar dengan turbin tipe horizontal yang akan digunakan di area rooftop Universitas Global Jakarta. Metode perancangan adalah menguji turbin angin tipe horizontal yang digunakan memiliki 3 blade dari bahan besi plat (log fuam) dengan ketebalan 1,2 mm. Hasil perancangan blade menunjukkan bahwa data teoritis pada kecepatan angin tertinggi yaitu 3,3 m/s dapat menghasilkan tegangan output turbin sebesar 11,56 volt dan kecepatan putaran poros sebesar 416,8 Rpm. Pada kondisi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kecepatan angin dan ukuran blade sangat mempengaruhi tegangan output turbin dan kecepatan putaran poros dari hasil perancangan.

Abstract

Termoelektrik merupakan media pengubah energi panas menjadi energi listrik yang bekerja dengan metode efek Seebeck. Fenomena efek Seebeck yang terjadi disebabkan perbedaan temperatur panas dan temperatur dingin yang terjadi pada mengenai sisi panas – sisi dingin termoelektrik yang mampu menghasilkan tegangan listrik. Nilai perbedaan temperatur mempengaruhi besaran tegangan listrik yang dihasilkan termoelektrik. Proses kerja yang terjadi pada termoelektrik yang digunakan sebagai generator listrik. Penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menguji termoelektrik dengan metode tiga macam jarak letak termoelektrik yang disimbolkan dengan notasi A, notasi B, dan notasi C menggunakan tipe termoelektrik SP1848-27145 SA berjumlah 10 unit dengan rangkaian seri. Pengujian dengan menggunakan sumber panas dari nyala api spiritus dan es batu untuk pendinginan pada kompor burner media pengujian. Ruang termoelektrik yang terletak ditengah antara ruang pemanas dan ruang pendingin dengan terdapat tiga sekat macam jarak letak termoelektrik, termoelektrik dilapisi dengan susunan plat stainless steel bagian bawah dan atas. Hasil pengujian yang dilakukan dengan durasi waktu 180 detik menunjukan tegangan maksimal sebesar 3850 mV, amper maksimal sebesar 2,130 mA, daya listrik maksimal sebesar 8,201 W, dan beda suhu maksimal sebesar 100,9 oC yang dicapai pada pengujian notasi A.

Abstract

5S is a work culture from Japan that is easy to apply in daily activities, the 5S concept is simple so that it is easy for anyone to understand and understand. The introduction of 5S to Trimitsa Plus Vocational High School students was preceded by introducing what S consists of five parts, namely Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu and Shitsuke. The implementation of community service activities for SMK Plus Trimitsa students is a form of the JGU campus' contribution to the surrounding environment. This activity involved JGU campus students and lecturers who served as material presenters, escorted educational games about 5S and also helped implement 5S in the SMK Plus Trimitsa workshop. Students of SMK Plus Trimitsa are given the opportunity to ask questions and answers about 5S so that they can have the same understanding as the presenter of the material and games related to 5S, namely the game of arranging numbers and letters from boxes containing scattered numbers and letters. The aim is for students to be able to understand that there is a difference between messy and tidy working conditions where if a messy work environment will make it difficult for us to work.

Abstract

Nowadays, energy sources in the world at the end until now tends to be filled using fossil fuels. It is estimated that the world energy consumption until 2025 is still dominated by fossil fuels, namely oil, natural gas and coal. The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources said that petroleum dominates 54% of energy use in Indonesia. One way to overcome the use of fossil energy sources is to replace them with renewable energy especially photovoltaic. Therefore, this paper presents solar charge system using Buck Converter PID Controller for Spotlight load. Buck Converter with PID Controller is used to produce a smaller and more stable output voltage from solar panels of 14.4 Volts for charging the battery. The PID parameter values ??obtained after performing calculations using the Analytic Tuning method and tuning are Kp = 0.0307, ??Ki = 58.20 and Kd = 0.000263. The expected result of this research is to design and implement a solar charge controller as a producer of electrical energy from environmentally friendly energy.

Abstract

Belt conveyor is a fairly simple equipment used to transport load units or bulk materials with a large capacity, the tool consists of belts that are resistant to the transport of solid objects. The sabuk used in this Belt Conveyor is made from various types of materials, for example from rubber, plastic, leather or metal which depends on the type and nature of the material to be transported. The testing process of this tool starts by turning on the Conveyor Belt, the rotation on the Conveyor Belt is constant at a speed of 3.1 m / min and there is no speed setting, the speed of the Conveyor Belt can be known using the Tachometer tool and can be calculated manually using the formula v = s / t where v = speed, s = distance and t = time. When the object is attached to the Conveyor Belt the object will run and pass through the Ultrasonic sensor, when the position of the object is directly under the sensor, the sensor will detect the object based on the height or distance between the sensor and the object, so that Arduino Uno can carry out the work process of the object falls into category A, B or C.

Abstract

Salah satu indikator penting yang mempengaruhi kualitas suatu perusahaan adalah produktivitas yang dihasilkan oleh perusahaan tersebut. Namun pada implementasi proses produksi produk Rangka 450 CSR di PT PLTP, sering kali keluaran yang dihasilkan tidak mencapai target produksi karena masih ditemukan beberapa waste yang menghambat proses produksi sehingga mempengaruhi tingkat produktivitas. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah mengidentifikasi serta memberikan usulan perbaikan untuk mengeliminasi atau mereduksiwaste dengan pendekekatan Lean Manufacturing. Sebagai hasil identifikasi awal, ditemukan pemborosan yang paling besar adalah waiting dan transportasi. Pendekatan metode Lean Manufacturing pada penelitian ini yaitu Seven Waste Tools dan Value Stream Mapping (VSM). Dari hasil pengolahan data dengan metode tersebut, didapatkan usulan perbaikan sehingga bisa mengurangi lead time produksi sebesar 1,95 h dan meningkatkan produktivitas sebesar 18,14%.

Abstract

PT MM aims to enhance efficiency in filling oxygen gas and reduce transportation routes by employing forklifts. They have reconfigured the company's oxygen gas supply area by eliminating damaged machines and relocating the functional ones to a new area. The proposed solution for the company involves redesigning the layout of the laser cutting machine area and optimizing it using the seven-waste method. The re-layout procedure comprises three steps: analyzing the initial layout, designing alternative layouts based on Lean Manufacturing principles, and evaluating and selecting the best layout. The alternative layout results in improved material handling efficiency and reduced transportation distances. The outcomes of this redesign included the removal of the MCP storage area, which was replaced by a minibulk and a pipe installation that connects the minibulk to each laser cutting machine. By eliminating the 20-meter square MCP tube storage area, forklift mileage in the laser cutting machine area was significantly reduced. Overall, these changes led to a 30% reduction in costs, calculated from the difference between monthly rental costs and usage costs. This initiative supports green manufacturing by decreasing Nox emissions through reduced forklift usage.
