Abstract

Web-based information technology is currently developing very rapidly. The utilization of web-based information technology is widely used in various types of work. One of them is the processing of inventory data. Talenta Store is a store engaged in the sale of mobile phone accessories. The management of inventory at Talenta Store is still not systematized. So that making inventory data with sales often makes mistakes and also owners sometimes find reports that are not appropriate. Therefore, a system that can support inventory data processing activities is made, namely the system Si-GIIS (Goods Inventory Information System) web-based. The development Si-GIIS system uses the FIFO (First in First Out) method design, which means that the goods purchased first will be sold first as inventory management. Si-GIIS was developed using the waterfall method and for system design using UML (Unified Modeling Language). n the test, Si-GIIS uses BlackBox testing with the final result that all systems work as expected. From the results of the satisfaction survey, it can be seen that 93% of employees and shop owners are very satisfied. Therefore, the development of the Si-GIIS system at the Talenta Store can be said to be successful and can be implemented into the inventory data processing system.

Abstract

The outbreak of the covid-19 virus has caused many listing and funding companies to go bankrupt. J-trus group is one of the companies that has experienced the impact of covid 19, so that the company is able to survive, the company is looking for other ways to get additional income, namely by expanding the sale of basic necessities online, here the author provides a solution using a web-based application to realize this the. So the purpose of this paper is to design and build a PHP-based application with the Codeignither framework. The method uses the waterfall and the database uses a MYSQL database. The design includes Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, class diagrams. Testing the application with the Black Box testing method, functionally has been declared successful. And based on the test results using the System Usability Scale (SUS), a score of 71 has been obtained with a value above the average so that it can be accepted by users

Abstract

The spread of digital information has grown very rapidly and has become a common tool used by all people. This is in line with the development of various infrastructures and digital ecosystems for all lines of life in all fields without exception, especially in this paper which discusses the development of information technology in the field of education. Because in essence education can play an active role in developing the potential of students to develop religious spiritual values, self-discipline, personality, intelligence, noble personality, and abilities that are beneficial to themselves, society, the state, and the Indonesian nation. In line with the vision and mission of Jakarta Global University which concentrates learning on student centered which refers to 21st century learning, where learning is focused on the use of information technology to trigger a learning process that focuses on student learning experience. The development of this system aims to make it easier for students with special needs to understand physics concepts by using simulation methods assisted by modules and other learning tools that can be used by students with special needs, especially for students with hearing disorders. SUS Questionnaire are distributed to get after the posttest to get usability test for the system. Tests using Cronbach's Alpha have been used to find the value of validity and reliability by obtaining an average result of 0.702 for reliability and 0.312 for validity testing. This shows that the developed system can be used easily thanks to the optimization of the features that the author has implemented in the CDIES system to facilitate the needs of students with disabilities.

Abstract

Parkinson's disease (PD) stands as one of the most prevalent conditions, impacting approximately 6.3 million individuals globally. This disorder becomes even more complex due to commonly associated non-motor symptoms like depression, cognitive impairments, and disruptions in sleep patterns. The root of PD remains largely unclear as a significant portion of cases lack a specific cause. In the initial phases of the illness, prominent indicators encompass tremors, rigidity, slowed motion, and difficulties in mobility. Presently, patients are obligated to have appointments with their medical practitioner at intervals of six months to a year, typically for brief consultations. The visit to the medical facility offers a limited glimpse into the patient's state, frequently failing to capture the day-to-day obstacles they encounter. The current evaluation methods are insufficient in comprehending this matter. This highlights the significance of promptly identifying PD, as it allows for the early implementation of treatment measures and management tactics. Additionally, this suggested approach contributes to the enhancement of human life within the healthcare framework and holds the potential to identify Parkinson’s disease swiftly and precisely.

Abstract

Enhancing the academic capabilities of senior-level students in higher education involves a series of pivotal tasks such as completing a thesis, publishing scholarly works, and creating scientific posters. However, the execution of these tasks still encounters several challenges, including limitations in academic writing skills, a restricted understanding of enhancing writing quality, as well as a deficiency in comprehending ethical writing aspects, such as avoiding plagiarism and employing proper citation methods. Moreover, there are challenges in embarking on the path toward publication and within the overall writing process. In this context, the purpose of organizing the workshop is to provide an in-depth understanding of essential elements within these three areas. This encompasses enhancing writing skills, enriching the understanding of ethical writing to mitigate instances of plagiarism, and ensuring accurate citation practices. Furthermore, it aids participants in grasping research requisites and guidelines, while elevating awareness of academic norms. Crafting a thesis necessitates an understanding of fundamental principles and established regulations, while scholarly writing involves formulating strategies and meticulously presenting research outcomes. The creation of scientific posters also plays a crucial role in effectively conveying research findings visually. This workshop offers practical guidance and training in these aspects, including elucidating formats, arranging layouts, and employing tools such as the Canva application. The outcomes of this workshop materialize in the form of attraction, enthusiasm, and a profound understanding among participants regarding thesis writing methods, scholarly work composition, and research poster presentations. Participants have mastered the use of the citation tool Mendeley, as well as the implementation of Canva in designing research posters. This workshop has been successfully conducted and serves as a platform to advance the academic careers of participants. The workshop is deemed successful to sharpen the skills and self-confidence of participants in thesis writing, precise citation utilization, and crafting scholarly writing effectively.

Abstract

In the era of fierce global competition, rapid changes within the business and industrial landscape present increasingly intricate challenges for students. Self-development at both academic and professional levels has become essential in shaping characters capable of navigating these dynamics. The significance of mastering hard skills, reinforced by ISO certification and national standards, is paramount. Enriching soft skills through holistic education and real-world practice is crucial to confront the dynamic work environment. Recognizing these imperatives, a talkshow was organized to delve into self-development and comprehend the importance of self-development in conjunction with the significance of standardization in the world of business and industry. Through an interactive format, the talkshow introduced the concept of self-development, identification of hard and soft skills, self-development practices, and adaptation to evolving standards and technologies in the workplace. This material was delivered by trainers from Makara UI Academy and the National Standardization Agency (BSN) of Indonesia. The outcomes of the talkshow portray significant positive effects, with a majority of participants experiencing a notable improvement in understanding the essential role of self-development and certification in enhancing competitiveness within the challenging realms of busineAss and industry. Attendees also demonstrated a heightened awareness of the urgency of self-development in achieving success in the complex domains of business and industry. These results reflect the profound impact of the knowledge imparted by speakers, propelling participants toward deeper understanding and readiness to face contemporary challenges in an increasingly dynamic professional environment. Shaping character and acquiring hard skills are essential in confidently confronting the dynamics of industry standards.

Abstract

This article outlines the creation of a health detection system designed to identify rest tremors in Parkinson's disease (PD). The system leverages internet of things (IoT) technology to measure frequencies derived from human activities, excluding other symptoms such as heartbeat and voice recording. The core components include the Arduino Nano microcontroller and the Node ESP MCU 8266 V3 for data processing. The system employs an accelerometer sensor positioned at the body's center axis to gauge the frequency of motor symptoms associated with resting tremors, particularly when the hands are at rest in the lap. The findings indicate that 9 samples displayed symptoms of rest tremor. The recorded p-value, standing at 0.884, signifies a robust correlation between the two variables at a significant threshold of 0.01 or 1%.

Abstract

The study addresses persistent communication barriers faced by students with disabilities, particularly the deaf, by exploring challenges, presenting breakthroughs, and introducing an innovative solution-a sign language translator (SLT) using motion capture technology. This groundbreaking technology, deployed through the ADDIE model and validated with user acceptance testing (UAT), successfully integrates into the learning management system (LMS) at SLB Bina Insani Depok, demonstrating its efficacy in bridging communication gaps. The results suggest a notable increase in efficiency for tasks such as t2, t3, and t5, highlighting the system’s improved ability to direct users to the LMS homepage, the SLT page, and translate words into sign language, respectively. The study suggests further development in advanced animation to enhance the learning experience for deaf students and recommends progressing toward the total communication (KOMTAL) system for comprehensive communication preparation, ultimately aiming to create an inclusive and dynamic learning platform for the holistic development of deaf students.

Abstract

In the context of an increasingly advanced era, Internet of Things (IoT) technology has emerged as a significant innovation across a range of fields. One of the most rapidly developing Internet of Things (IoT) technologies is the Long Range Wide Area Network (LoRaWAN). LoRaWAN is capable of long-distance communication while simultaneously consuming minimal power. In this study, we analyze the coverage of the LoRaWAN network in transmitting data with Cikumpa river water objects, with a 100–600 meters distance between the transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX). This study assesses the RSSI network quality, LoRaWAN SNR, and LoRaWAN network QoS quality concerning throughput, delay, jitter, and packet loss parameters. The testing results demonstrated that the LoRaWAN network coverage reaches a maximum distance of 600 meters. Researchers conducted the testing in the Cikumpa River area. They then analyzed the RSSI and SNR test results in the morning, afternoon, and evening. The results of the RSSI test and calculations demonstrate that as the distance between the transmitter and receiver increases, the RSSI value decreases. The RSSI testing conducted in the morning exhibited a range of -99 dBm to -121 dBm, with the SNR values spanning from -3.25 dB to 8.75 dB. The results of the daytime RSSI tests ranged from -104 dBm to -124 dBm, with the corresponding SNR values ranging from -8.50 dB to 9.00 dB. The RSSI test results for the afternoon period exhibited a range of -96 dBm to -120 dBm, while the SNR demonstrated a range of -7.25 dB to 9.00 dB. In addition, the quality of service (QoS) can be considered stable based on the results of the RSSI and SNR for each test. During the testing process, conducted at distances between 100 and 600 meters, there was no packet loss when data transmission occurred. This research demonstrates the potential for utilizing LoRaWAN technology to monitor a desired object remotely.

This study delves into how Loxus Living Company leverages these marketplaces to boost its online visibility, drive sales, and monitor advancement towards set objectives. Factors such as user experience, safety, and transaction efficiency are considered when evaluating e-commerce success. The results illuminate how utilizing technology, and new media can boost business growth and expand the market.
