Abstract

Untuk mendapatkan estimator dari model digunakan pendekatan two step generalized method of moments (2SGMM). Kata kunci :  Generalized method of moments (GMM), Persamaan simultan spasial, Pertumbuhan Ekonomi.

Abstract

The use of quantile regression in analyzing determinants of life expectancy provides a deep understanding of the influence of predictor variables across various quantiles of the data distribution. The analysis results reveal significant differences in predictor variables affecting life expectancy at each quantile, with socio-economic, environmental, and health program factors having varying impacts. Model evaluation is conducted considering several goodness-of-fit measures such as MAPE, AIC, and coefficient of determination, selecting the best quantile based on a combination of these values. Based on the analysis, the optimal quantile is chosen based on the lowest MAPE and AIC, and the highest coefficient of determination, considering the efficiency of significant predictor variables. The analysis indicates that the best model is found at the 60th quantile, with two significant predictor variables, namely mean years of schooling and labor force participation. This underscores the significant role of socio-economic factors in determining life expectancy at specific quantiles

Abstract

The rehabilitation zone of Meru Betiri National Park (MBNP) needs to be measured in relation to the success of ecosystem restoration. It can be used as a bioindicator, such as the bird community structure, hence their sensitivity to environmental changes. Therefore, the aims of this study are to determine the community structure of avifauna in the rehabilitation zone at Wonoasri Resort, MBNP including bird diversity, richness, dominance, feeding guilds, and their correlation with forest cover. The research was conducted in January 2023 in the Bonangan Block at three observation points, namely low vegetation cover, medium vegetation cover, and high vegetation cover. The ecological data, such as species and abundance, were collected using the point count method, while additional information related to conservation statuses were collected by web browsing on the IUCN Red List, the CITES appendix, and Indonesian government regulation (LHK No.106/2018). Data analysis used the dominance index, species diversity index (Shannon Wiener), and evaluated for statistical data using a Kruskal-Wallis (KW) test in R version 3.2.1. We recorded 38 bird species belonging to 31 genera and 21 families during this study. Among the feeding guilds, the insectivorous birds (14 species) were recorded as the higher species richness, followed by omnivorous (eight species), frugivorous (five species), granivorous (five species), carnivorous (four species), and nectarivorous (two species). The Kruskal-Wallis test shows there is a significant correlation among the feeding guilds (value of 11.644, with p-value = 0.040). Furthermore, referring to species richness, high vegetation cover areas have the highest species richness (30 species) compared to medium vegetation cover areas (27 species) and low vegetation cover areas (26 species). The dominance of avifauna species at this location falls into the low category (C = 0.07). According to the diversity index, avifauna in Bonangan Block is classified as a high category (H'=3.01).

Abstract

The classification of tomato ripeness is crucial for post-harvest processing, quality assurance, and agricultural automation, as manual evaluation is often subjective, inconsistent, and time-consuming. This research investigated the impact of color space selection and hyperparameter optimization on tomato ripeness classification using machine learning (SVM, Random Forest, K-NN, GNB) and deep learning (CNN) approaches. Evaluation results indicated that YCbCr was the best-performing color space for classical models, with SVM achieving the highest accuracy (91.24%) and RF following closely (89.54%), whereas HSV yielded optimal performance for CNN (90.46%), highlighting differences in feature extraction mechanisms. Confusion matrix and ROC curve analyses demonstrated that models capturing nonlinear and interdependent color features, such as SVMs and CNNs, achieved superior class separability, particularly for the Ripe and Unripe classes. Dominant channel analysis revealed that chrominance channels, Cb in YCbCr and H in HSV, played a critical role in ripeness discrimination. These findings emphasized the importance of preprocessing for feature selection and provided guidance on selecting appropriate models and color spaces to improve the accuracy and reliability of automated tomato ripeness classification.

Abstract

This research examines the role of green marketing in mediating between green knowledge and CSR on green trust. It investigates the correlation among four key concepts: green trust, green knowledge, CSR, and green marketing. An empirical survey tested the proposed hypotheses. Data were collected from 119 respondents in East Java, Indonesia, who consume Le Minerale bottled drinking water. Structural Equation Modeling using Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) was used to assess the research model. Results reveal that all direct relationships are positive and significant. Specifically, the analysis found green marketing does not significantly mediate the relationship between green knowledge and green trust. This means green knowledge does not increase green trust through green marketing. However, the indirect effect of CSR on green trust via green marketing is significant. This highlights that CSR builds green trust when green marketing is a mediator. These results suggest that green marketing can be an effective strategy for building consumer green trust. The research finds that green marketing helps companies enhance their consumers’ green trust. By exploring the roles of green knowledge and CSR in green trust through green marketing, this research highlights the value of honest and effective strategies. It also offers managerial implications for sustainable marketing.
