Abstract

Faktor terpenting seorang guru adalah kepribadiannya. Karena dengan kepribadian itu seorang guru bisa menjadi pendidik dan pembina bagi muridnya atau malah sebaliknya akan menjadi perusak dan penghancur masa depan anak didiknya. Kepribadian merupakan unsur yang menentukan keakraban guru dengan siswanya. Guru adalah bapa spiritual atau bapa spiritual bagi seorang murid dalam memberikan santapan jiwa dengan pengetahuan moral. Untuk itu setiap guru harus memiliki kepribadian yang baik dan terpadu, kepribadian yang baik ini tentunya dilihat dari sudut pandang siswa, orang tua, dan dari segi kebutuhan tugasnya. Kepribadian seorang guru sangatlah penting, karena kepribadian merupakan salah satu komponen penting yang dimiliki guru dalam menjalankan tugasnya. Dengan kata lain, kepribadian dapat menjadi salah satu faktor yang menentukan berhasil tidaknya seorang guru dalam menjalankan segala kewajibannya.

Abstract

Management is one of the benchmarks that can support an achievement of results from activities that have been arranged or planned in an arranged manner so that they can produce a decision desired by any party referred to in the school. Students are one of the important factors in supporting educational activities. In the current era, the amount of competition that arises between schools can cause difficulties for schools to get new prospective students (students). As for the efforts that can be made by schools in supporting the growth and development activities of students, namely by having special services at school. These special services include guidance and counseling services, library services, canteen services, health services, school transportation services, hostel services. Extracurricular services, laboratory and security services. Special services provided by schools to students can support the implementation of educational teaching in schools so as to produce the desired goals. Management of special services is one of the activity processes to provide convenience to students by creating special services in schools so that they can support effective and efficient learning activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan observasi mengenai Pemimpin memiliki peran yang sangat strategis dalam menentukan maju mundurnya sebuah lembaga pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, Pemimpin bertanggung jawab atas penyelenggaraan kegiatan pendidikan, administrasi sekolah, pembinaan tenaga kependidikan lainnya, dan pendaya gunaan serta pemeliharaan sarana dan prasarana. Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan menyatakan bahwa peningkatan profesionalisme pada level satuan pendidikan merupakan tanggung jawab langsung dari kepala sekolah sebagai pemimpin dan manajer sekolah. Karena itu, organisasi penjaminan profesionalisme pendidik pada satuan pendidikan berada langsung di bawah tanggung jawab kepala sekolah.

Abstract

Role is a dynamic aspect of position (status) if a person performs his rights and obligations according to his position then he has carried out a role. The principal as a policy maker in schools functions optimally and is able to lead schools wisely and with direction and leads to the achievement of maximum goals in order to improve the quality and quality of education in schools. This study aims to study and describe the role of school principals in improving education management in Darussalam Middle School. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative research using observation techniques and also interviews with the principal of the research location. The results obtained explained that the principal had made various efforts and had improved to support the management of education in  Darussalam Middle School Efforts made related to the important role in terms of leadership and management of madrasas both for teachers, students, facilities and other school supporters. The conclusion in this study is that the role of the principal is very important in improving education management and the role of the principal must be carried out in the role of educators, managers, administrators, supervisors, leaders, innovators and motivators.
