Abstract

The leadership role is a set of expected behavior, carried out by people in accordance with its position as a leader. The role of the leader is very large in making decisions and taking responsibility for the outcome. The decision reflects the character of a leader. Decision-making is central to the organization's activities are also a key leadership or the core of leadership. Leaders must be able to take decisions in a variety of situations, by choosing the best among a number of alternative alternatis decisions it faces. Alternatidf should be chosen that its smallest negative risk so as not to harm the organization. Leaders must be able to explain the reason – the reason for choosing one alternative decisions in a way that is most easily understood in order to get support in implementation.

Abstract

Time (temporal dimension) has two meanings, namely denotative meaning and connotative meaning. Denotative meaning of time is a unit: seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, centuries and others. While the connotative meaning of time is time as a concept of achieving change in human activity. The change is expected to be a change for the better. For changes to occur for the better, human awareness is needed in interpreting events. This is known as the concept of learning from experience. Every event is a learning process, so that from this event it will change people who can interpret it. But for people who can't interpret it, events will just take place. Abstract

Total Quality Management (TQM) or Integrated Quality Management in the field of Islamic education has the ultimate goal of improving quality and competitiveness for output (graduates) with indicators of competency both intellectual and skill as well as high social competence of students/graduates. In achieving these results, the implementation of TQM in Islamic education organizations needs to be done truthfully, not half-heartedly. By utilizing all the quality entities that exist within the organization, our education will not run where it is today. Implementation of TQM in educational organizations, especially in Islamic educational institutions, is not easy. There are obstacles in the work culture, the performance of teachers and employees is very influential. There is no denying that the work culture, performance and discipline of civil servants in our country is very low. This greatly affects the effectiveness of TQM implementation. This study uses the approach of the concept of Integrated Quality Management and the concept of Quality Management in Islamic Education. While this research uses library research methods, and qualitative methods. This research is expected to be able to provide input and good knowledge of new knowledge for the world of education, especially in Islamic education.
