Abstract

Social studies learning has an important role in the formation of student character. However, Social Studies learning in the formation of students' character is certainly not a problem easy, it takes continuous struggle to produce good results in accordance with the goals of national education. Social studies learning has something in common with character education, both of which have the goal of making students as good citizens, care about social problems, the existing environment, and also share a high sense of nationality.

Abstract

This article aims to provide information regarding the important role of the teacher in terms of improving the quality of learning with more innovative creative ideas, especially at the elementary school level. Innovative learning that is created must be in accordance with the learning objectives that have been determined by the teacher, be able to achieve what has been planned, have varied abilities in implementing learning and learning strategies that are tailored to the interests of learning and the needs of students, and be able to improve the quality of the learning process and results. learning aimed at improving the quality of education as a whole. This research method uses descriptive qualitative methods based on literature studies or literature reviews such as scientific journals, electronic books and other sources whose accuracy has been confirmed with the aim of providing some information and solutions in identifying the problems discussed in this research.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the character of class III A students at SDN 262 Panyileukan that arise because of the awareness that is formed from the results of applying the daily reflective journal method at school. The daily reflection journal method is not limited to just one subject, but covers the entire teaching and learning process. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research type method. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation and documentation. The data obtained comes from primary data sources from teachers and students as well as secondary data sources from articles and documentation of these activities. Based on the data taken, it shows that there is a big influence on changes in the character of students at SDN 262 Panyileukan after applying the daily reflection journal method. Seeing the character problems and the many children who have unstable emotions, the teacher took the initiative to make different reflection activities, namely through a daily journal. This activity is carried out by students by writing down the positive and negative activities they have done while at school. Daily reflection journal activities as the application of character to students are carried out unconsciously and without coercion or rules from anyone. From this explanation it can be seen that the reflection method is effectively used.

Abstract

The very rapid development of technology has an influence on the character education and national culture of elementary school students. This is because the technology used by humans can have both good and bad impacts according to the actions they take. This research aims to explain the impact of technology and learning on character and culture in the learning process of elementary school children. The qualitative method is the method used in this research. The research subjects used by researchers were fifth grade elementary school teachers in Cicalengka subdistrict. The data collection process in this research consisted of stakeholder group interviews. The research results obtained in this study show that technology can influence student behavior and culture. Because during the pandemic, if parents don't look after them and teachers don't improve the learning process, children will become lazy and instead of opening their cellphones to study, they will play with their cellphones.
