Abstract

Food sanitation hygiene is an effort to control four factors, namely food, people, places, and equipment that can cause disease or health problems. This study aims to determine the Analysis of Food Sanitation Hygiene on Street Vendors in Ujung Batu Village, Rokan Hulu Regency. The research used is descriptive qualitative with in-depth interviews and observation methods, to 11 informants consisting of 1 head of market management, 5 traders, 5 food consumers. This research was carried out in May 2022 in Ujung Batu Village, Rokan Hulu Regency. The results of this study indicate that traders never check their health, resulting in ignorance of whether food handlers have infectious diseases, traders have dirty nails, do not wear masks, traders do not wash their hands, traders do not use tools such as spoons/forks when taking food/making food. food for consumers. Traders store food in places that are not covered so that vectors can land on food, traders do not use gloves when making food. Trash cans that are not closed cause flies to land on food because the food is also open, traders do not provide hand washing facilities equipped with soap, dirty utensils are not washed immediately, traders do not have a place to store equipment, washed utensils are only placed on the table then covered with a cloth, the water used to wash the equipment was not replaced so the water became oily.

Abstract

Refill drinking water is the treatment of raw water with several stages of the process until it becomes drinking water. The raw water that is usually used in the production process for refill drinking water is sourced from ground water. The water treatment process in principle must be able to remove all types of pollutants, both physical, chemical and microbiological. This research is a qualitative analytic study with a descriptive mode approach that aims to obtain information about the analysis of drinking water quality and sanitation hygiene at refill drinking water depots in the Minas Jaya sub-district, Siak district. January – July 2022. Informants from this study were 9 people divided into 1 environmental health worker at the Puskesmas as key informants, 4 owners of refill water depots as main informants, 4 consumers of water depots in the Minas Jaya village area. The research variables consisted of place, equipment, handlers, inspection of water parameters. The selection of research subjects used purposive (non-propability). The validity of qualitative data using triangulation. Data were analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study concluded that the cleanliness of the place did not meet the health requirements, the equipment had met the health requirements, but the depot worshipers at 4 refill drinking water depots did not meet the health requirements. As well as inspection of water parameters at 4 refill drinking water depots located in Minas Jaya Village, Siak Regency, they have met the health requirements according to the RI Ministry of Health Number 43 of 2014. It was concluded that they had met the eligibility requirements for sanitation hygiene, because in the 4 depots studied, only 3 depots met the requirements and scored above 70%. It is recommended to the drinking water depot to improve the cleanliness of the handlers in wearing work clothes, routinely in carrying out health checks

Abstract

Acute respiratory infection (ARI) is an acute respiratory infection that attacks the throat, nose and lungs that lasts approximately 14 days, Ari regarding the structure of the channel above the larynx, data on Ari disease in toddlers in Pekanbaru city show that the highest prevalence in Puskesmas fifty with a prevalence rate of 6.69% per 100 toddlers in 2020. This research is quantitative analytic with Case Control design. The study was conducted in January-July in the second quarter of 2022 in the Working Area of Puskemas Lima Puluh Kota Pekanbaru, with a population of 4,946 toddlers and a sample of 135 which was divided into 45 cases and 90 controls. This study uses Simple Random Sampling technique. Data analysis methods include univariate and bivariate analysis, using chi-square test. The results showed that the variables associated are ventilation (OR=3.294 95% CI 1.553-6.989), exposure to cigarette smoke (or=3.436 95% CI 1.575-7.504), occupancy density (or=4.529 95% CI 2.113-9.710), environmental sanitation (or=2.896 95% CI 1.359-6.169). Suggestions from researchers are rekrontuksi ventilation / open the window periodically, the manufacture of smoking corner in the surrounding environment, isolation room for family members affected by the disease, rekrontuksi base of the building at risk of becoming the development of bacterial culture/paint water repellent against risky building materials such as wood.
