Abstract

Operating a computer as a data processor is needed in all fields. One of the fields that must master Information Technology, and Communication (ITC) skills is the field of government, from the central government to the village government. It is crucial to upgrade the capabilities of computers for village officials because, currently, all data is computerized. The purpose of this community service is to help improve the computer/laptop and internet skills of village staff, especially in Perampuan Village, Labuapi District, West Lombok Regency, NTB. The stages in this service are: analyzing service problems; second, preparing service material; third, carrying out service; and fourth, reporting or post-service activities. The results show increased participant ability on computers and the internet. The participants were enthusiastic about the training on making Google Drive, Google Docs, and Google Spreadsheets because this was the first training they had received. Because creating Google Drive, Google Docs, and Google Spreadsheets is necessary for village services, especially in an era when all residents have smartphones, and all data must now be cloud-based. The village head and the training participants hope the Mataram UIN lecturer service team will still be scheduled to carry out a community service program because the village really needs this service. The participants also suggested that they spend more time so that they are more flexible in the teaching and learning process

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of differentiated learning and Direct Instruction models on student learning outcomes, viewed from the perspective of student learning interest. The research was conducted in one of the Elementary Schools in Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province, using experimental methods and a 2 x 2 by-level research design. The results of the study indicate that: (1) The learning outcomes of students who follow the differentiated learning model are higher compared to those who follow the Direct Instruction model, (2) There is an interaction between the differentiated learning and Direct Instruction models with student learning interest towards learning outcomes, (3) Students with high learning interest perform better in the differentiated learning model compared to the Direct Instruction model, and (4) Students with low learning interest perform better in the Direct Instruction model compared to the differentiated learning model

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the "study group" drama method on students' motivation to learn and understanding of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) concepts at MAN 2 Central Lombok. The background of this study is the low motivation to learn and students' understanding of concepts, due to the dominance of conventional, teacher-centered learning methods. Therefore, more active, interactive, and meaningful learning innovations are needed. This study uses a quantitative, quasi-experimental approach with a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The research sample consists of two classes: class XI MIA 2, the experimental class that received the "study group" drama method treatment, and class XI IKG, the control class that used conventional learning methods. Data collection techniques included learning motivation questionnaires, PAI concept-understanding tests, and observation sheets. Data analysis used descriptive tests and inferential tests, including paired-sample and independent-sample t-tests. The results showed a significant increase in students' motivation to learn and understanding of PAI concepts in the experimental class compared to the control class. The average increase in learning motivation for the experimental class was 17.15 points, while for the control class it was 5.45 points.Meanwhile, the increase in understanding of Islamic Religious Education concepts in the experimental class was 19.40 points, 8.70 points higher than that of the control class. The results of the statistical test showed a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating that H? is rejected and H? is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the "study group" drama method has a significant effect in increasing students' motivation to learn and understanding of Islamic Religious Education concepts. This method has been proven more effective than conventional learning because it fosters an active, collaborative, and enjoyable learning environment.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are one of the most important 21st century skills for students, and the fact that students' abilities are lacking due to their involvement in the classroom is critical thinking skills. The purpose of this research is to prove that teaching mathematics concepts in STEM schools has or does not have an effect on the critical thinking skills of elementary school students. This research is qualitative with a quasi-experimental type. This study involved 20 Grade V students at SDIT An-Nujaba' Mataran who were included as a sample selected by the saturated sampling technique, the instrument used in this study was a critical thinking ability test. The analysis technique uses the t-test (paired sample t-test). The results of this study indicate that there is a p-value = 0.000 which indicates a significant difference before and after the application of STEM-based mathematics learning. The findings of this study indicate that, with the support of STEM mathematics education, students' critical thinking skills have a significant effect. The research of STEM-based learning in critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This community service program carried the theme “Enhancing the Statistical Competence of UIN Mataram Students Through Practical Training on Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) Using JASP Software for Final Project Data Analysis.” The program was delivered in the form of training for final-year students as well as students who had previously taken courses in Statistics and Research Methodology. The activity took place in the computer laboratory at the Research Center Building, Campus 2 of UIN Mataram, with a total of 30 participants. Most participants were fifth- or seventh-semester students who were currently working on or preparing to begin their undergraduate thesis or final project. The training was conducted offline. The stages of the activity included an opening session, material presentation, hands-on training, a discussion or Q&A session, and finally, a closing session. After the training, the service team distributed a questionnaire to evaluate the program. The results indicated a significant improvement in students’ understanding of data analysis, particularly in comparative cases involving more than two groups, which can be analyzed using ANOVA. The paired t-test results showed a highly significant increase in participants’ scores after the training. The average pretest score was 28.67 (pretest SD ? 6.29), while the average posttest score increased to 76.17 (posttest SD ? 8.78). The mean difference (posttest ? pretest) of +47.50 reflects a substantial improvement. The paired t-test yielded t(29) = ?27.03, p < .001 (the test was conducted on the difference between pretest and posttest scores), indicating that the improvement was statistically significant. Thus, both statistically and practically, the ANOVA training using JASP proved to be effective in enhancing participants’ analytical skills.
