Abstract

Since the signing of the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) by the Obama Administration in February 2016, anti- and pro-TPP groups have emerged during the United States presidential campaign. Both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have voiced their voice against the Trans Pacific Partnership agreement. This study describes the role of party platforms, both Republican Party Platform 2016 and Democratic Party Platform 2016 as a scale to find important information related to the Trans Pacific Partnership issue during the 2016 United States presidential campaign. On the other hand, after his meeting with President Obama in October 2015 in the United States, President Joko Widodo said that Indonesia was ready to join the Trans Pacific Partnership. By using Dependency Theory, this study will explain why a free trade agreement such as the Trans Pacific Agreement must be measured by national interests before being implemented as a government policy.

Abstract

An organization can develop and continue to adapt to changes in the organizational environment, HR Capacity Building is something that absolutely must go well. In general, Capacity Building can be interpreted as a process of increasing the knowledge and skills, attitudes and behavior of human resources. Capacity Building and development is a process that is carried out at three levels, namely individuals, groups and institutions or organizations, and aims to ensure organizational continuity through achieving the goals and objectives of the organization concerned. In the outbound  program given to employees of Kopmen Setia Budi Wanita Malang East Java, with the aim that human resources have a capacity that continues to grow, the process can be carried out starting from selection, providing an adequate work environment, as well as continuous training in important aspects, such as communication skills, self-motivation, problem solving skills, creativity, and leadership. This activity received a positive response from all employees. Everyone attended and participated in the activity. Employees really hope that activities like this can be carried out periodically or periodically to refresh energy and mindset in order to gain motivation and increase employee performance productivity so that it is in line with the targets that must be achieved by the Institution

Abstract

This article discusses assistance is preapring recrutmen system criteria for Demang Jaya Wonokerto cigarette factory employes. This research aims to increas effectiveness and efficiency in the employe recrutment process at the cigarette factory. The method used in this research is a case study and direct observation of the existing recrutmen process. The research result show that assistance in preparing recrutment system criteria can improve the quality of employees recruited and reduce erros in the selection process. It is hoped that the results of this research can make a positive contribution to Demang Jaya Wonokerto cigarette factory in improving employe performance and productivity.

Abstract

TThe Malang Resort Police held a Social Security and Community Service Forum (FSK) activity as a form of effort to maintain security and order ahead of the 2024 simultaneous regional elections. The activity was attended by a number of community leaders, the KPU, Bawaslu Malang Regency and all guests at the Bojana Puri building Jl. Raya Ngadilangkung Kepanjen on September 19 2024. through the activities of the Community Security and Order Silaturahmi Forum (FSK) it is hoped that it can increase synergy between the National Police, the community and all stakeholders in realizing Public Order and Order in the Malang Regency area so that it remains safe, smooth and conducive, so that the implementation of the Simultaneous Regional Elections on November 27, 2024 can run smoothly and not leave any conflict afterwards

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kemampuan masyarakat dan pemangku kepentingan dalam membangun kerja sama global dengan menginternalisasi nilai Wasatiyyat Islam dan kearifan Tionghoa yang relevan untuk kehidupan multikultural. Berdasarkan refleksi dari 9th World Peace Forum 2025, program ini mengembangkan model pendampingan melalui dialog lintas budaya, lokakarya moderasi beragama, dan forum komunitas yang mendukung harmoni sosial. Metode yang digunakan yaitu meliputi penyebaran nilai moderasi dan harmoni, pelatihan fasilitator lokal, serta penyusunan modul edukasi yang menggabungkan prinsip keseimbangan, keadilan, toleransi, dan kerja sama. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai nilai moderat Islam dan kebijaksanaan Tionghoa, serta penguatan jaringan kerja sama antar komunitas lintas suku dan agama. Selain itu, kegiatan ini mendorong munculnya inisiatif bersama untuk menyelesaikan masalah sosial secara damai dan inklusif. Kegiatan ini menegaskan bahwa menggabungkan nilai dari berbagai peradaban dapat menjadi dasar yang efektif dalam membangun budaya kolaborasi global di tingkat masyarakat.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat solidaritas sosial melalui penyampaian khotbah pada Sholat Idul Fitri di Polres Malang. Momentum Idul Fitri memiliki nilai strategis sebagai sarana refleksi spiritual sekaligus penguatan hubungan sosial pasca pelaksanaan ibadah Ramadan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui penyampaian khotbah sebagai bentuk edukasi keagamaan, dengan menggunakan pendekatan komunikatif dan kontekstual. Jamaah yang terdiri dari anggota kepolisian dan masyarakat umum. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan respons positif dari jamaah terhadap pesan yang disampaikan, khususnya terkait pentingnya sikap saling memaafkan, peningkatan kepedulian sosial, serta pemeliharaan persatuan dan kebersamaan. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan kesadaran kolektif akan pentingnya solidaritas sosial sebagai fondasi dalam mewujudkan kehidupan bermasyarakat yang harmonis dan kondusif.
