Abstract

Percepatan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Crashing, metode Overlapping, dan metode Combine (Crashing dan Overlapping) guna memperoleh hasil percepatan dengan waktu/durasi 7 minggu  (21 %) dan juga nilai optimasi biaya pelaksanaan  sebesar  Rp. 4.207.237.695,03 (7%), dimana biaya pelaksanaan semula adalah Rp. 58.557.390.571,00 menjadi Rp. 54.350.152.875,97.Kata Kunci : optimalisasi, crashing, overlapping, combine ABSTRACTIn order to equalize the standard of living and health status of the community in the area of responsibility of Brebes Regency, the local government of the city of Brebes has made several strategic efforts, one of which is the construction of hospital infrastructure in the region. This development project is urgent so it needs to be completed on time so that it can function immediately. Scheduling is very essential in this development project, work that is accelerated from the normal schedule will of course affect project financing. In order for development activities to run effectively, efficiently and optimally, proper analysis is needed to support the work scheduling process as expected, including the selection of priority work items that must be completed within a certain time with efficient financing. In order to determine the value of the financing, determining the Critical Path using the PDM (Precedence Diagram Method) is very necessary. Primary and secondary data used in the analysis are in the form of notes, archives or references such as research journals, implementation schedules, reports along with project activity schedules, budget plans and other references relevant to this research activity. The results of the analysis of the above data are described in a network diagram to facilitate the determination of the duration of accelerated implementation through the addition of working hours before calculating the resulting cost optimization. Acceleration is carried out using the Crashing method, the Overlapping method, and the Combine method (Crashing and Overlapping) in order to obtain acceleration results with a time/duration of 7 weeks (21%) and also an optimization cost of Rp. 4,207,237,695.03 (7%), where the initial implementation cost was Rp. 58,557,390,571.00 to Rp. 54,350,152,875.97.Keywords: optimization, crashing, overlapping, combine

Abstract

The economic growth in Banyumas Regency, Central Java, and its surroundings, followed by the increasing number of vehicles crossing the area. Among the national roads in Banyumas, the Buntu intersection area is one that requires attention. Data collection was conducted by interviewing and filling out questionnaires directly from respondents. In considering the priority of road repairs, there are 11 criteria used in this study. The alternatives that can be done are asphalt pavement, concrete pavement, and concrete - asphalt pavement. The method used in this study uses the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method with the help of Expert Choice 11 software. Results of field survey indicated the types of road damage that occurred at the intersection of four dead ends in Banyumas Regency, the Sampang-Buntu section were ruts, potholes, wear (polished aggregate) while for the Buntu section-South Kedu the types of damage include alligator cracking, ruts, potholes, stripping. Concrete pavement repair is the main choice because the Buntu intersection is a national road whose daily traffic is traversed by heavy vehicles with the heaviest axle loads above 10 tons, such as buses or large trucks so that respondents want road pavement repairs at crossroads to prioritize traffic average daily.

Abstract

In road network evaluations, road performance is assessed from structural and functional aspects. Typically, road surface roughness measurements rely on expensive, imported instruments. Therefore, this research developed a prototype roughness measuring tool using an ultrasonic sensor, which is more cost-effective. This study aims to calibrate the "Ultrasonic Surface Roughmeter" prototype and evaluate its accuracy in measuring the International Roughness Index (IRI) as a reference for road maintenance. The prototype was tested through calibration with the standard tool, Gap Man Working Profilometer. Data were collected from several road segments of a specified length, and measurement results were analyzed through descriptive statistics to compare data from both tools. The calibration results indicate that the prototype achieved a high accuracy level, with a correlation value of 99.51% and a confidence level of 97.05%. The Cronbach's alpha value of 1.0 shows excellent internal consistency, with an average measurement difference of approximately 3.11%.The "Ultrasonic Surface Roughmeter" prototype can serve as a valid and economical alternative for measuring road surface roughness

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using pumice as a partial substitute for fine aggregate on the compressive strength, splitting tensile strength, flexural strength, unit weight, and workability of lightweight concrete. The research method employed laboratory experiments with a design strength of fc’ 20 MPa based on SNI 7656:2012. The pumice substitution levels were set at 0%, 5%, 10%, and 15% of the fine aggregate weight, with the addition of a superplasticizer at 0.5% of the cement weight. Tests were conducted at 7 and 28 days of concrete age using a Universal Testing Machine to obtain the concrete’s mechanical parameters. The results showed that increasing the pumice content caused a decrease in the concrete’s unit weight and slump value due to the high porosity and water absorption of the pumice aggregate. Substitution levels of 5% and 10% still produced relatively stable compressive strength, tensile strength, and flexural strength, meeting the design quality standards for normal concrete. A 15% substitution showed a more significant decrease in mechanical strength due to increased internal voids and weak interlocking between materials. This study confirms that pumice has the potential to be used as an alternative material in the development of lightweight concrete with controlled weight efficiency and mechanical performance.
