Abstract

Research intends to reveal the role of principals in fostering the quality of graduates who excel in religious competence through various activities managed by the principal. The research used is a type of qualitative research with data collection techniques in the form of unstructured direct interviews with the principal. The results of this study explain that the principal plays an important role, especially in carrying out his role as an educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator and motivator. Abstract

Mathematics learning at the elementary school level plays an important role in developing logical thinking skills and numeracy competencies. However, based on the results of observations at MI NU Rowolaku Kajen, the use of learning media remains very limited and has not utilized engaging media, resulting in low student interest in learning and affecting learning outcomes, particularly in the material on the concept of plane figures. This study aims to examine the effect of using the Wordwall application on the learning outcomes of second-grade students in the material on the concept of plane figures. This study employed a quantitative experimental approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects consisted of 26 second-grade students. Data were collected through a 10-item essay test and analyzed using the Shapiro–Wilk normality test and the Wilcoxon hypothesis test. The results showed an increase in the average score from 75 on the pretest to 82 on the posttest, indicating a 9% improvement in learning outcomes. The results of the hypothesis test showed a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), which means that the alternative hypothesis was accepted and the null hypothesis was rejected. Thus, the use of Wordwall learning media has a significant effect on students’ mathematics learning outcomes in the material on the concept of plane figures. These findings contribute to enriching the literature on the implementation of educational games in the early grades of madrasah while also providing an alternative learning model that teachers can adopt to improve students’ numeracy competence.

Abstract

This study examines how prospective mathematics teachers view professional ethics in shaping their character and professionalism, particularly in addressing educational challenges in the digital age. The study argues that professional ethics serves as an important moral foundation, not merely an administrative rule. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, semi-structured interviews were conducted with mathematics education students at UIN KH. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan who had completed a professional ethics course. Prospective teachers viewed professional ethics as a foundation for identity formation that fosters objectivity, pedagogical responsibility, honesty, patience, and empathy. However, implementation in the field faces several challenges, including suboptimal emotional management in the classroom, the still-abstract nature of mathematics delivery, and technological-structural issues. This study is still limited to prospective teachers from one Islamic state university, thus limiting broader generalizations. Pragmatically, this implies that mathematics teacher training must design professional ethics courses contextually and reflectively, bridging abstract pedagogical ethical values ​​with the realities of the digital-age classroom.

Abstract

Transformasi digital dalam pendidikan telah menggeser peran guru menjadi fasilitator sekaligus membawa tantangan etis yang kompleks di ruang siber. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis profesionalisme guru di era digital yang mencakup pemenuhan kewajiban profesi, penerapan kode etik, serta pola interaksi etis dengan peserta didik di dunia maya. Menggunakan metode library research atau studi kepustakaan, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kewajiban guru di era digital meluas pada penguasaan pedagogik digital, perlindungan data pribadi siswa, serta penanaman etika kewarganegaraan digital. Kode etik profesi berfungsi sebagai pedoman normatif yang krusial untuk menjaga batas profesionalitas dan mencegah pelanggaran moral. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sinergi berupa kebijakan sekolah yang ketat, pengawasan kepala sekolah, serta peningkatan literasi digital guru secara berkelanjutan. Kesimpulannya, profesionalisme guru di era digital kini menuntut integrasi yang seimbang antara penguasaan materi, pemanfaatan teknologi secara bijak, dan pengelolaan interaksi edukatif yang etis di ruang siber.
