Abstract

Davina Tour and Travel is one of the travel agents in Gorontalo city which has over four years of experience, serving a variety of business market share in tour travel. From year to year the number of domestic airline ticket purchase is increasing. Every year the Tour and Travel Davina always target purchase amount must be heightened, but in the year 2013 to 2014 has decreased the number of domestic airline ticket purchases. Decreasing the amount of the airline ticket purchase in 2014 due to the wishes and needs of its customers and the fierce competition among travel agents in the city of Gorontalo, Davina Tour and Travel doing word of mouth (word of mouth promotion) as effort to increase the number of ticket purchase domestic airlines. This research aims to reveal the word of mouth and purchasing decisions as well as word of mouth influence on purchasing decisions. This type of this research using descriptive and verification, used explanatory survey method and cross sectional approach. Sample in this research were 100 respondents, travelers who purchase airline tickets for domestic flights in Davina Tour and Travel with the sampling technique used is simple random sampling. Data analysis technique used is multiple regression. The independent variable in this research is the word of mouth (X) consisting of cognitive content (X1), richness of content (X2) and the strength of delivery (X3) while the dependent variable is the purchasing decision (Y) which is composed of indicators product choice, brand choice, dealer choice, purchase timing, purchase amount and payment method. Tourist’s responses to word of mouth in Davina Tour and Travel considered sufficient high. Richness of content dimension to obtain the highest value whiles the cognitive content dimension to obtain the lowest value. Tourist’s responses on purchasing decisions in Davina Tour and Travel considered sufficient high. Indicators of brand choice to obtain the highest value and the number of purchase to obtain the lowest value. Based on SPSS 20.0 for Windows testing showed that simultaneous and partial effect between word of mouth and purchasing decisions. The advice for company is improving communication with the sender of the WOM message and expressed positive messages and attractive so as to generate interest message recipients to buy airline tickets for domestic flights in Davina Tour and Travel.

Abstract

Sumedang is improving in optimizing the tourism sector. Several strategies are planned to make Sumedang Regency a new tourist destination. One of the leading tourist destinations in Sumedang is Kampung Karuhun. Karuhun Village offers a beautiful green mountain atmosphere with an eco green park concept so that tourists will be presented with very beautiful natural nuances. The fluctuating level of tourist visits makes managers have to design marketing strategies to influence the decision of potential tourists to visit. One of them is by utilizing information technology in the form of electronic word of mouth (e-WOM). This study aims to determine the effect of electronic word of mouth on the decision to visit tourists to Karuhun village, Sumedang. The type of research used was quantitative research with a descriptive approach and verification using multiple regression analysis techniques. The method used in this research was a survey method. The sample in this study were 210 respondents with a convenience sampling. The test results show that electronic word of mouth on the decision to visit has an effect simultaneously and partially. E-Wom has a positive influence on the decision to visit Kampung Karuhun.

Abstract

Digital marketing is a type of promotion that is currently widely used by the public to support the various needs and needs that they carry out. The utilization of information gathering and promotion techniques through digital marketing can encourage someone to visit a tourist attraction or even to complete a transaction. This study aims to examine the impact of digital marketing on tourists' visiting decisions in the Cisema area. The research we use is of an exploratory type. This research was conducted at the Cisema tourist attraction, Sumedang district, to produce respondent data from 100 respondents. Using a nonprobability sampling method and also using a purposive sampling technique. Data was taken by distributing questionnaires and literature studies by processing data using SPSS version 25.0 through the stages of validity, reliability, coefficient of determination test, F-test table, T-test table, and also using path analysis techniques. From the results of this research, it can be concluded that digital marketing has a significant influence on the decision to visit tourists. It is hoped that the promotion and participation of the community and the government will be further enhanced and the government can facilitate the internet for the community and the government together to carry out promotions regarding tourist attractions in the Cisema area

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between the quality of human resources (HR) and the level of tourist visits in Buricak Burinong Village, the method used in this research is quantitative. The sample studied was 100 respondents who had visited Buricak Burinong Village, data were collected through the survey method by distributing questionnaires (google form) with the Conveniance Sampling technique. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously the quality of human resources has a significant influence on the level of tourist visits in Buricak Burinong Village. The results of the analysis show that there is a positive relationship between the quality of human resources and the level of tourist visits. In optimizing the level of tourist visits to Kampung Buricak Burinong, special attention needs to be paid to the intellectual quality and educational level of human resources. By improving the quality of human resources in this village it can attract more tourists and strengthen its position as an attractive tourist destination.

Abstract

Pemerintah Kabupaten Sumedang sedang mewujudkan cita-citanya menjadikan Kabupaten Sumedang sebagai kabupaten pariwisata, salah satunya melalui pembangunan Desa Wisata Pakualam. Namun, dalam pelaksanaannya masih belum optimal dikarenakan aksesibilitasnya yang belum mendukung dan perlu dibenahi agar dapat meningkatkan minat kunjungan wisatawan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menentukan peran aksesibilitas dalam meningkatkan minat wisatawan untuk mengunjungi Desa Wisata Pakualam Kecamatan Darmaraja Sumedang. Penelitian melibatkan 130.777 wisatawan sebagai populasi dan 100 responden diambil sebagai convenience sampling dengan skala likert. Dalam studi ini ditemukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan sebesar 0.762 atau 76,2% antara aksesibilitas ke Desa Wisata Pakualam Kecamatan Darmaraja Sumedang dan minat kunjungan. The Sumedang Regency Administration is realizing its dream of making Sumedang Regency a tourism district, among them is the expansion of the Pakualam Tourism Village. However, the implementation is still not optimal due to accessibility which is not yet supportive, issues must be resolved in order to spur interest in visitor arrivals. This study aims to determine the role of accessibility in increasing tourist interest in visiting Pakualam Tourism Village, Darmaraja Sumedang District. The study involved 130.777 tourists as a population and 100 respondents were taken as convenience sampling with a Likert scale. In this study it was found that there was a positive and significant influence of 0.762 or 76,2% between accessibility to Pakualam Tourism Village, Darmaraja District, Sumedang, and visiting interest.
