Abstract

This study aims to determine the virtual business simulation learning model and then to determine the virtual business simulation learning process design model used by students of the Medan State Polytechnic Business Administration Study Program. Data collection was carried out by making direct observations on Business Administration study programs, especially in classes with the practice of Business Simulation courses. In the second stage, the researcher conducted direct interviews with students, 5th semester Business Administration lecturers who taught the Business Simulation course in accordance with the learning process of the business simulation practice being carried out. Literature study by collecting data and information both from data on the implementation of business simulation courses that have been carried out and those that will be carried out and such as libraries, the internet, literature and previous research related to the problems encountered, researchers observed simulations of business offering practices in class, data analysis was carried out by tabulating data, and processing data by transcribing interview results, coding and interpreting them so that further concluded with a business simulation learning model. The result of the research is the development of virtual business simulation courses by imitating what has been madewww.moonsonsim.com, then carried out in 3 stages, namely: needs analysis, data collection, product design/virtual learning and virtual business simulation learning process design is carried out by: choosing Edmodo which will later be used as a virtual learning tool, preparing photos of learning materials, preparing pointers virtual teaching sentences, setting up virtual teaching creation tools

Abstract

In the midst of the development of an increasingly urban and lifestyle-oriented society, the Coffee Shop business is one of the fastest growing businesses. Coffee shops are no longer just a place to drink coffee, but also a place to socialize, work, study, or just relax. In this increasingly competitive coffee shop business, service quality is the key to differentiating one coffee shop from another. Good service quality can create a positive experience for customers and encourage them to return as indicators of customer satisfaction. This study aims to determine the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction at Coffee Shop Cold n Brew Medan. This study uses a quantitative approach with the analysis technique simple linear regression, respondents as a data source as many as 98 people. Data collection using questionnaire techniques. The results showed that service quality has a significant effect on customer satisfaction. The implication of this research is the importance of Coffee Shop to continue to improve its service quality in order to maintain and increase customer satisfaction and have competitiveness in the Coffee Shop industry.

Abstract

Hotel business is one of the service businesses that sells various forms of accommodation, which include elements of comfort, service, and various facilities designed for customers who require lodging facilities for both work and leisure purposes. Currently, the competition in the hotel industry is becoming increasingly fierce, making it crucial for every company to recognize the importance of customer loyalty to ensure the sustainability of their business. The quality of service provided by the company is a crucial factor in creating satisfaction for each hotel customer. This study aims to investigate how the influence of service quality, both partially and simultaneously, affects hotel customer satisfaction. The population in this study consists of Hotel Grandhika Medan guests who incidentally stayed at Hotel Grandhika Setiabudi Medan, with a sample size of 80 people selected using accidental sampling. This study is a quantitative research with data collection techniques conducted through questionnaires and literature reviews. The data analysis method in this study includes validity tests, reliability tests, class assumption tests, simple linear regression, and hypothesis tests. From the results of this study, it was found that 62.8% of customer satisfaction is explained by the service quality variable, while 37.2% is influenced by other variables not studied in this research. The results of this study show that the service quality variable has a positive and significant partial effect on hotel customer satisfaction at Hotel Grandhika Setia Budi Medan, particularly influenced by the hotel's consistent polite behavior towards customers.

Abstract

The presence of internet technology has changed people's lifestyle patterns, including people's shopping patterns, where previously buying and selling transactions were carried out face to face, now transactions can be accessed just by using a smartphone. The aim of this research was to examine the influence of online customer reviews and prices on clothing purchasing decisions at Shopee e-commerce in Medan City. This research is motivated by the differences between online purchases and offline purchases in assessing a product. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research and uses incidental sampling as the sampling technique. Testing was carried out using SPSS 25. The results of data analysis showed that: 1) online customer reviews had a positive and significant effect on the decision to purchase clothes at Shopee among the people of Medan City. This can be seen from the results of the partial hypothesis test (t-test), where tcount > ttable (9,045 > 1,986) and the significance value is 0.000 < 0.05. 2) price has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions among the people of Medan City in purchasing clothes in Shopee. This can be seen from the results of the partial hypothesis test (t-test), where tcount > ttable (5.760 > 1.986) and significant, namely 0.000 < 0.05. 3) simultaneous regression testing (F test) on the online customer review and price variables. shows that it simultaneously has a positive and significant effect on clothing purchasing decisions among the people of Medan City when purchasing via e-commerce Shopee, this can be seen from the results of the simultaneous test (F Test), where Fcount > Ftable (318,682 > 3.094) and the significance is 0.000 < 0.05.4) the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.870 , so it can be concluded that 87% of the online customer review and price variables have an influence on clothing purchasing decisions at Shopee in Medan City, while the remaining 13% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
