<![CDATA[ABSTRACT The speaking process allows children to express themselves, express ideas, and express thoughts verbally. However, at the Muhammadiyah Elementary School in Kalirejo, Central Lampung, it was found that there were still students whose participation was low in class discussions, they had difficulty expressing their opinions, and lacked confidence when speaking in public. This shows that there are problems in students' communication skills. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Show and Tell method in improving students' speaking abilities. The subjects of this research were Muhammadiyah Elementary School students in Kalirejo, Central Lampung. The data analysis technique uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The methods used in this research include observation and documentation. The results of the research show that the Muhammadiyah Elementary School Kalirejo Central Lampung succeeded in implementing the Show and Tell method effectively in improving students' speaking skills. This can be seen from: 1) Increasing students' self-confidence, 2) Increasing students' speaking skills by conveying information more clearly, and 3) Encouraging more active interaction between students, both as speakers and as listeners. From the results of this research, it can be concluded that the Show and Tell method has positive effectiveness on students' speaking abilities at the Muhammadiyah Elementary School in Kalirejo, Central Lampung. This method is effective in increasing students' participation in class discussions and their confidence when speaking in public. ABSTRAK Proses berbicara memungkinkan anak mengekspresikan diri, mengungkapkan ide, dan menyatakan pemikiran secara lisan. Namun, di Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah Kalirejo Lampung Tengah ditemukan bahwa masih terdapat siswa yang partisipasinya rendah dalam diskusi kelas, mereka kesulitan mengutarakan pendapat, dan kurang percaya diri saat berbicara di depan umum. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya permasalahan dalam kemampuan komunikasi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas metode Show and Tell dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa. Subyek penelitian ini yaitu Siswa Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah Kalirejo Lampung Tengah. Teknik analisis datanya menggunkan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah Kalirejo Lampung Tengah berhasil menerapkan metode Show and Tell secara efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari: 1) Meningkatnya kepercayaan diri siswa, 2) Meningkatnya keterampilan berbicara siswa dengan penyampaian informasi yang lebih jelas, dan 3) Mendorong interaksi yang lebih aktif antara siswa, baik sebagai pembicara maupun sebagai pendengar. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode Show and Tell memiliki efektivitas yang positif terhadap kemampuan berbicara siswa di Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah Kalirejo Lampung Tengah. Metode ini efektif dalam meningkatkan partisipasi siswa dalam diskusi kelas dan kepercayaan diri mereka saat berbicara di depan umum.]]>
