Abstract

This paper examines the effectiveness of the method of example in improving the quality of morals in Mts's daughter I the Centre of Sengkang. This type of research is a field research. The results showed that the application of the method of example in Mts As'adiyah Princess 1 Sengkang Center is constantly working to improve the quality of education in morals, in order to be able to answer the challenges of the times in the life of religion, nation and a country. The impact of the application of the method of example against the morals of students namely morals learners already increased from year to year in which the application of religious values have become routine and the motivation of the teachers, so that learners have already used to it.

Abstract

Perawat merupakan salah satu profesi yang paling sering terpapar dengan bahaya-bahaya di rumah sakit. Bahaya potensial yang terjadi di rumah sakit dapat mengakibatkan terjadinya kecelakaan kerja, adapun bahaya potensial yang paling sering terjadi di rumah sakit yaitu bahaya mekanik seperti tersayat, tertusuk, terjepit mesin, tergulung, dan terpotong. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana gambaran bahaya mekanik pada perawat di RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin. Jenis penelitian merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Perawat yang bekerja di ruang intensif RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin berjumlah 188 perawat merupakan populasi pada penelitian ini yang terdiri dari 8 ruang intensif dengan jumlah sampel sebesar 128 perawat. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik probability sampling berdasarkan simple random sampling. Alat ukur penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner bahaya mekanik yang sudah dilakukan uji instrumen berupa uji validitas dengan uji content validity oleh ahli pakar dan uji construct validity di RSUD Meuraxa Banda Aceh pada 20 responden serta uji reliabilitas dengan nilai cronbach alpha 0,773. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa responden yang memiliki pengalaman bahaya mekanik yang baik sebanyak 83 responden (64,8%). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pengalaman bahaya mekanik pada perawat ruang intensif berada pada kategori baik.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out as part of the implementation of the Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan (AIK) course at Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. The purpose of the activity is to enhance students’ social awareness through collaboration with LAZISMU in the One Day One Mustahik (ODOM) program. This program is designed to directly distribute assistance to mustahik groups such as street children, orphanage residents, becak drivers, parking attendants, and underprivileged communities in Makassar City. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR), which emphasizes the active involvement of students in all stages of the activity, from planning and implementation to evaluation. A total of 50 boxed meals and 20 basic food packages were directly distributed to several target points with full support from the LAZISMU team. The results of the activity show an increase in social awareness, communication skills, and the strengthening of students’ empathy towards social realities. On the other hand, the beneficiary communities felt tangible benefits both materially and morally. This collaboration has proven effective as a model of community service that integrates Islamic values, character education, and social action. The ODOM program is recommended as a model for service-based learning to be sustainably implemented within the Muhammadiyah campus environment.
