Abstract

Sinar Cikoang Gemilang Edifice is a company engaged in the mining sector, especially in nickel ore mine located in the village of buleleng Regency of morowali kecamatan bungku coastal province of Central Sulawesi. IUP Pt. SCG. PT. Sinar Cikoang Gemilang (SCG) is one of the laterite nickel mining company using the system of open mining (surface mining). Levels of supervision will be conducted strictly by Quality Control both from the front of the mine until the placement of ore in the area of the Stock Pile and continuously perform the taking of the sample to control grade and do blending ore with appropriate methods so that the desired levels can be achieved. The order of the mining activities in PT. Sinar Cikoang Gemilang includes disassembly, loading and hauling. PT. Sinar Cikoang Gemilang provides various mechanical tools in helping the forefront, such as gali transport tools, tools, fit and support. In conducting the activities of the mining of nickel ore (ore) is done by using the tool fit excavator and ore minerals results material loaded into dump trucks brought to the dom/stockpile. Research issues do occur between the mining front levels and stockpile as well as causative factor of difference. The purpose of the study to find out how large the difference levels and cause factor levels of distinction. To get the desired data will then be carried out observation/observation methods where the author will engage directly with activities on the spot. As for the results of the data mining in the production is a dom2:1.85, dom 3:1.76 and realization in the stockpile is dom 2:1.83, dom 3:1.79 and distortion levels to dom 2 amounted to 1.08% and 1.7% of dom 3. From the observations, then retrieved the factors cause decline tonage and decreased levels of among others the following: The skills of the operator when taking ore getting and mixing, Thoroughness in sampling, Tertukarnya sample preparation of work time, Doping and lost when the ore mining.

Abstract

PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (PTVI) is a subsidiary of Vale, a global mining company based in Brazil. Before being named PT Vale Indonesia Tbk, the company located in South Sulawesi was named PT International Nickel Indonesia Tbk. (PT INCO). The research problem is how to calculate the disposal design that requires later storage that can be used overburden material from the nearest Pit and the amount of geometry of each design that has been made. The method used to analyze using Vulcan software version 9.0, using formulas, interview methods and documentation. The results showed the total disposal design capacity of 12,213,531 (wmt), Disposal Storage Capacity of 18,791,082 (wmt) and Geometry s_disp_block_2g0_01: Slope Angle: 400, Number of Benches: 2 and Width of Storage: 40,791,082 (wmt) and Geometry s_disp_block_2g0_02: Slope Angle: 260, Number of Benches: 2 and Berm Width: 40m (40,835), Geometry s_disp_block_2g0_03: Angle of Slope: 340, Number of Benches: 2 and Width Width: 40m (40,835), Geometry s_disp_block_g04 Slope 450, Berm Width 42m (42,092), Number of Bench 5, 40 M), Slope Angle 450, Number of Benches 6, s_disp_block_2g0_05: Slope Angle: 340, Berm Width: 40,603 (41 M), Number of Benches 3. Abstract

Kegiatan pengupasan lapisan penutup merupakan tahapan penting dalam penambangan atubara karena Berpengaruh langsung terhadap pencapaian target produksi. Produktivitas alat gali muat dan alat angkut menjadi indikator utama dalam menilai efektivitas kinerja operasi penambangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis produktivitas alat gali muat dan alat angkut pada kegiatan pengupasan overburden di Pit Pelikan South Extension Fleet EX768 PT. Pamapersada Nusantara Distrik KPCS, Kabupaten Kutai Timur, Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Kajian teori yang digunakan meliputi konsep produktivitas alat mekanis, waktu siklus , efisiensi kerja, faktor pembengkakan, faktor pengisian , serta keserasian alat kerja (faktor kesesuaian). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi lapangan dan studi literatur, dengan data primer berupa waktu siklus alat gali muat dan alat angkut, efisiensi kerja, faktor pengisian , serta data hambatan waktu, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari laporan perusahaan dan referensi pendukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa waktu siklus alat gali muat sebesar 0,56 menit dan waktu siklus alat angkut sebesar 6,3 menit. Nilai efisiensi kerja alat gali muat sebesar 80% dan alat angkut sebesar 75%, dengan swell factor 0,85 dan fill factor 1,1. Berdasarkan parameter tersebut, diperoleh produktivitas alat gali muat dan alat angkut sebesar 1.122 bcm/jam. Nilai match factor sebesar 1,07 menunjukkan bahwa keserasian kerja alat berada pada kondisi cukup optimal.

Abstract

Blasting is an important stage in open-pit mining aimed at breaking rock material to facilitate excavation and loading processes. Fragmentation quality is influenced by blasting design parameters, particularly the depth and diameter of blast holes. This study used drilling geometry data, blasting geometry, explosive consumption, and fragmentation results analyzed using Split Desktop software to determine the effect of variations in blast hole depth and diameter on fragmentation distribution. The results showed that greater blast hole depth produces finer fragmentation due to increased blasting energy. Larger blast hole diameters also increase explosive loading capacity, resulting in more evenly distributed blasting energy. The proper combination of blast hole depth and diameter produces optimal fragmentation in accordance with company operational standards.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of holding time in the Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT) process on the mechanical properties of ST42 steel that has undergone welding using the Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) method. The main focus of the study is the correlation between variations in heat holding time at a certain temperature and changes in hardness and toughness.The method used is an experiment with variations in holding time, followed by rapid cooling to maintain microstructural homogeneity. Hardness testing is conducted using Vickers or Rockwell methods, while toughness is analyzed through bending/impact tests depending on the appropriate method. The microstructure is examined to check for changes in the fractions of ferrite and pearlite, as well as grain size influenced by heat retention.In conclusion, the holding time during PWHT has a significant effect on the hardness and toughness of ST-42 steel. Adjusting the duration of the heat hold can be used as a control variable to optimize the mechanical properties of the weld, balancing strength and crackresistance according to the needs of engineering applications.
