Abstract

Loading and transporting overburden is one of the activities carried out in nickel mining by moving overburden from the mining front to the disposal site. Research Objectives: 1) Determine the efficiency of loading and transporting equipment in loading and transporting overburden. 2) The production capacity of loading and transporting equipment used in loading and transporting overburden. 3) The compatibility factor between loading and transporting equipment used in loading and transporting overburden. The methods used in this study were interviews and observation. The interview method was conducted with people in the company area regarding data to be collected at the company itself. Then, the observation method involved directly observing the data to be collected at the company. The results achieved in this study are the work efficiency value for loading equipment is 83% and for transport equipment is 83%, the production of 1 unit of loading equipment is 37,788.16 Bcm/month and 4 units of transport equipment is 37,333.6 Bcm/month so that it has met the target, the work harmony factor of loading equipment and transport equipment is 0.98 so that MF<1, which means that the transport equipment is working fully and the loading equipment still has waiting time. It is necessary to add transport equipment so that the loading equipment does not have waiting time.

Abstract

Sinar Cikoang Gemilang Edifice is a company engaged in the mining sector, especially in nickel ore mine located in the village of buleleng Regency of morowali kecamatan bungku coastal province of Central Sulawesi. IUP Pt. SCG. PT. Sinar Cikoang Gemilang (SCG) is one of the laterite nickel mining company using the system of open mining (surface mining). Levels of supervision will be conducted strictly by Quality Control both from the front of the mine until the placement of ore in the area of the Stock Pile and continuously perform the taking of the sample to control grade and do blending ore with appropriate methods so that the desired levels can be achieved. The order of the mining activities in PT. Sinar Cikoang Gemilang includes disassembly, loading and hauling. PT. Sinar Cikoang Gemilang provides various mechanical tools in helping the forefront, such as gali transport tools, tools, fit and support. In conducting the activities of the mining of nickel ore (ore) is done by using the tool fit excavator and ore minerals results material loaded into dump trucks brought to the dom/stockpile. Research issues do occur between the mining front levels and stockpile as well as causative factor of difference. The purpose of the study to find out how large the difference levels and cause factor levels of distinction. To get the desired data will then be carried out observation/observation methods where the author will engage directly with activities on the spot. As for the results of the data mining in the production is a dom2:1.85, dom 3:1.76 and realization in the stockpile is dom 2:1.83, dom 3:1.79 and distortion levels to dom 2 amounted to 1.08% and 1.7% of dom 3. From the observations, then retrieved the factors cause decline tonage and decreased levels of among others the following: The skills of the operator when taking ore getting and mixing, Thoroughness in sampling, Tertukarnya sample preparation of work time, Doping and lost when the ore mining.

Abstract

PT. Buana Celebes is one of the companies engaged in nickel ore mining business located in Malili district, East Luwu regency, South Sulawesi province. Mining operations arecarriedout by open-pit mining system ( Surface Mining) with open cut method. The purpose of this study istofind out the system of mining that is applied, knowing the total amount of water discharge that enters the deposition pond and to find out the volume of precipitation ponds in the mining area. Basedonthe resultsof researchs istemcopying usedin PT. Buana Celebes is system drainage that is to prevent theentry of water into the mine. At the pit location E Block E2 has 1 (One) precipitation pool with a precipitation pool area of 38,196 m² with 2 (Two) channels with the length of each channel I of 220 m and channel II of 85 m.The amount of runoff discharge in the Pit E area of Block E2 is3,185m3 and the total volume of the deposition pool is 114,588 m3/s.

Abstract

PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (PTVI) is a subsidiary of Vale, a global mining company based in Brazil. Before being named PT Vale Indonesia Tbk, the company located in South Sulawesi was named PT International Nickel Indonesia Tbk. (PT INCO). The research problem is how to calculate the disposal design that requires later storage that can be used overburden material from the nearest Pit and the amount of geometry of each design that has been made. The method used to analyze using Vulcan software version 9.0, using formulas, interview methods and documentation. The results showed the total disposal design capacity of 12,213,531 (wmt), Disposal Storage Capacity of 18,791,082 (wmt) and Geometry s_disp_block_2g0_01: Slope Angle: 400, Number of Benches: 2 and Width of Storage: 40,791,082 (wmt) and Geometry s_disp_block_2g0_02: Slope Angle: 260, Number of Benches: 2 and Berm Width: 40m (40,835), Geometry s_disp_block_2g0_03: Angle of Slope: 340, Number of Benches: 2 and Width Width: 40m (40,835), Geometry s_disp_block_g04 Slope 450, Berm Width 42m (42,092), Number of Bench 5, 40 M), Slope Angle 450, Number of Benches 6, s_disp_block_2g0_05: Slope Angle: 340, Berm Width: 40,603 (41 M), Number of Benches 3. Number of overburden results from the nearest pit.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the quality of coal in terms of proxymate analysis of the results of the analysis of samples by using the ISO standard and ASTM. The Oversight data collection was done by testing samples of 6 samples in the PT.Geoservices laboratory. Based on the results of the testing showed that the testing moisture at sample using standard ASTM showed 14:09%, 13:51%, 10:22%, 13.83%, 14:11%, 14:11%, 14:01% and for ISO 13:06%, 13:00%, 12.96 %, 12.98% 12.90%, 13.08%, 12.94%. Based on data analysis, can be Conculated that the data in the analysis is Coal Sub-Bituminous ranged between 10% - 25%. Percentage of ash content of the test results in laboratory obtained percentage for the standard AST M is 7:52% 4:46%, 33.44%, 14:56% 4:34% 6:21% and to ISO 5:58% 5:48% 5:56%, 5.62% 5:56% , 5.64%. the percentage of volatile matter of the analysis results in laboratory obtained percentage for AST M standard is 41.11%, 44.45%, 30.81%, 39 .71%, 39.71%, 43.84%, 43.79% d late to the ISO standards are 37.10%, 37.32%, 37.00%, 37.16%, 36.92%, 37.19% fixed carbon grade not analyzed in laboratory but obtained from the calculation of indirect in getting the percentage for AST M 37.28%, 37.58% 25.53%, 31.90%, 37.71%, 35.99% and for ISO namely 44.26%, 44.20%, 44.46%, 44.32%, 44.44%, 44.23%. On Sample Coal studied in PT.Geoservices entered in the class of Coal Sub-Bituminous based classification of coal according to ASTM Standards, and Deserves to be marketed depending demand client.
