Abstract

A servant of God is identical with preaching the Gospel. From 1 Timothy 4:11-16 focuses on the actual roles of a God’s servant namelyexperiencing, enjoying and preaching the Gospel. The pure preachingdoes not only from one-sided life; which is the preaching itself, but also the wholeness of life which comprises enjoying and experiencing the Gospel; after that all of this can be applied through the preaching. This article uses a qualitative approach based on exegesis techniques and literature study. The source of this research focuses on the processing data from existing reference sources, both main and supporting sources, books and academic journals. There are some principles must applied based on the result of exegesis texts, namely command to preach the Gospel, living examples, perseverance in practicing gifts and self-control.

Abstract

Discipleship is a process that shapes a person to become a disciple. Jesus Christ is the Great Teacher in making sinners as His disciples. People who have been discipled by Jesus Christ automatically have the most important responsibility to make others a disciple. The new believer needs to be accompanied to disciple them to the point where they have maturity in following Christ. The focus of this study emphasizes the content that must be prioritized in making discipleship because it is found that the focus of discipleship today places more emphasis on discipleship strategies than the content in discipleship itself. The author conducted research through literature study. There are several points of research based on the text of 2 Timothy 2:2, First, the essence of the message in discipleship. Second, the personal servant of God. Third, the command to make disciples. Fourth, the criteria of the people who are entrusted to make discipleship. Fifth, the goal of discipleship.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to describe and analyze the notion of diversity in existentialism that appears in existentialist thinkers namely Soren Kierkegaard, Jean Paul Sartre, and Paul Tillich who have their own characteristics in their thinking. The theme of Existentialism has been discussed throughout history because it focuses on human concerns. A qualitative method with a content analysis approach is used to discuss and analyze existentialism philosophically and theologically. Based on the analysis, existentialism refers to humans as conscious subjects but can be viewed differently by thinkers. Kierkegaard’s theistic existensialism with the concept of leap of faith where humans are fully conscious can relate personally with God. Sartre's existentialism is atheistic, rejecting the existence of God and emphasizing human subjects who determine their own lives, taking responsibility for themselves. Tillich who uses the theme of existentialism in his method of correlation to connect God's Word to modern people with their existential awareness. Existentialism is very anthropocentric and does not emphasize Theocentric in human live.

Abstract

Abstract: This paper aims to describe and analyze the concept of “Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa” in Pancasila within the framework of Indonesian plurality that can be traced both politically and theologically. The qualitative method through literature study is used in this paper. Based on interpretative analysis through literature review, the results of the discussion can be explained that the First Precept of Belief in God Almighty is a theological religiosity value based on the 1945 Constitution for the life of plural Indonesian society and needs to be reflected that Pancasila is also a work of salvation or intervention from God. Presenting Pancasila also presents the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the Indonesian frame which presents human equality amid the plurality of Indonesia itself.Abstrak: Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisa konsep Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa dalam Pancasila dalam kerangka pluralitas keIndonesiaan yang dapat ditelusuri baik secara politis bahkan teologis. Metode kualitatif melalui studi kepustakaan digunakan dalam tulisan ini. Berlandaskan analisis interpretatif melalui pengkajian literatur, dapat dijelaskan hasil pembahasan bahwa Sila Pertama Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa merupakan nilai religiositas teologis berlandaskan UUD 1945 bagi kehidupan masyarakat Indonesia yang Plural serta perlu direfleksikan bahwa Pancasila juga merupakan karya keselamatan atau intervensi dari Tuhan. Menghadirkan Pancasila juga menghadirkan Injil Yesus Kristus dalam frame keIndonesiaan yang menghadirkan kesetaraan kemanusiaan ditengah kemajemukan dari Indonesia itu sendiri.

Abstract

Abstract: This article describe and analyze the Christian teacher discursively, where the Christian teacher is created to educate also teach, and serve. Christian teachers must first understand the theological concepts of creation to redemption as fundamental in educating students. Christian teachers must rely on Christ as a guide for their teaching and education in addition to themselves with various scientific perspectives. In this article, a qualitative research approach with a literature study method is used to describe and analyze Christian teachers. The results found are that Christian teachers in their progress as educators must have biblical insights that are first attached to the teacher and then implemented in students. In addition, Christian teachers need to be creative and effective like Christ who in His teaching attracted the attention of many people, complicated teaching but simplified as best as possible but with the aim of proclaiming the Kingdom of God. The Christian teacher's biblical knowledge and creativity are based on introducing God based on His word to the learners. Christian teachers must upgrade themselves in teaching and educating, not be rigid and follow Christ who taught with power, creativity and effectiveness, in contrast to the scribes who taught as a formality and stuck to legalism. In this way, the Christian teacher's progress is discursively dynamic, meeting the challenges of the times while at the same time adhering to biblical insights based on the teaching of Jesus Christ, the Great Teacher.    Abstrak: Artikel menjabarkan serta menganalisis tentang guru Kristen secara diskursif, dimana guru Kristen dicipta untuk mendidik sekaligus mengajar dan melayani. Guru Kristen harus terlebih dahulu memahami konsep teologis penciptaan hingga penebusan sebagai hal fundamental dalam mendidik para peserta didik. Guru Kristen harus mengandalkan Kristus sebagai pedoman pengajaran dan pendidikannya selain diri mereka sendiri dengan berbagai perspektif keilmuan yang ada. Dalam artikel ini, pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan studi kepustakaan digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan serta menganalisis guru Kristen. Adapun hasil yang ditemukan adalah guru Kristen dalam kemajuannya sebagai pendidik harus memiliki wawasan alkitabiah yang terlebih dahulu melekat dalam diri guru lalu diimplementasikan pada peserta didik. Selain itu, guru Kristen perlu kreatif dan efektif seperti Kristus yang dalam pengajaran-Nya yang menarik perhatian banyak orang, pengajaran yang rumit namun disederhanakan sebaik mungkin namun dengan tujuan pewartaan Kerajaan Allah. Wawasan alkitabiah dan kreatifitas guru Kristen didasarkan pada memerkenalkan Allah berdasarkan firman-Nya kepada para peserta didik. Guru Kristen harus mengupgrade diri dalam mengajar dan mendidik, tidak kaku serta mengikuti Kristus yang mengajar dengan berotoritas, kreativitas, dan efektivitas, kontras dengan para ahli Taurat yang mengajar sebagai formalitas dan terjebak pada legalisme. Dengan begitu, kemajuan guru Kristen secara diskursif adalah bergerak dinamis, memenuhi tantangan zaman namun pada saat yang sama berpatokan pada wawasan alkitabiah berdasarkan pada pengajaran Yesus Kristus, Sang Guru Agung.

Abstract

Abstract: Sermons need to be equipped with a strong foundation of the Word through systematic doctrine so that the preaching of God's Word can be conveyed and transform the faith of every believer. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to examine Systematic Theology is a discipline whose truth is systemized, structured, which comes from the teaching of the Bible which is the Word of God. Thus, if someone learns from the Bible regularly, it will have implications for the discovery of the truth about Christian doctrine which has an impact on the church to do systematic theology which can be integrated with preaching services, (Homiletics) for the development of church citizens. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with a literature study method where researchers review books and articles related to systematic theology and homiletics. The results of this study are expected to overcome the gap by making Systematic Theology through thematic aspects as preaching material so that the development of church members will run well because Systematic Theology comes from the Bible which is the Word of God. The implications of this research encourage preachers to preach systematically which has an impact on the congregation's transformative understanding of the Christian Faith. Abstract: Khotbah perlu diperlengkapi dengan dasar Firman yang kuat melalui doktrin yang sistematis agar pemberitaan Firman Tuhan dapat tersampaikan serta mentransformasi iman setiap orang percaya. Oleh karena itu, tujuan artikel ini adalah mengkaji Theologi Sistematika merupakan disiplin ilmu yang kebenarannya tersistem, terstruktur, yang bersumber dari pada pengajaran Alkitab yang adalah Firman Allah. Dengan demikian jika seseorang belajar dari Alkitab secara teratur akan berimplikasi pada penemuan kebenaran terhadap doktrin Kristen yang berdampak kepada gereja untuk bertheologi secara sistematika yang dapat diintegrasikan dengan pelayanan berkhotbah bagi pembinaan warga gereja. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi literatur dimana peneliti mengkaji dari buku dan artikel terkait dengan teologi sistematika dan homiletika. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan untuk mengatasi kesenjangan dengan menjadikan Theologia Sistematika melalui aspek tematis sebagai bahan khotbah, agar pembinaan warga gereja akan berjalan dengan baik karena Theologia Sistematika bersumber dari Alkitab yang adalah Firman Allah. Implikasi dari penelitian ini mendorong pengkhotbah untuk berkhotbah secara sistematis yang berdampak pada pemahaman transformatif jemaat terhadap Iman Kristen.
