Abstract

HIRA is one of many risk valuation methods that can be used to value which hazard is able to provoke the biggest risk. It’s done by considering the probability and the impact. Tahu Serasi Bandungan Baru Industri is one of many informal sector industries having hazard potential to the work environment and work process. This research’s purpose is to identify hazard potential, risk assessment , describe current hazard control and recommend hazard control means to decrease work accident risk. This research is done in two location of Tahu Serasi Bandungan Baru production by using explanatory research with 14 respondents which consist of 12 main informant and 2 triangulation informant. In detail, each location has 6 main informant and 1 triangulation informant. Work process in this tofu industri is divided into two, odd section and milling section. Based on research some hazard potentials are learned. Those are cramp, slip, process tools wedge, process tools struck down, mold, hot soybean extract, combustion fumes, electric shock, noise and fire. Tahu Serasi Bandungan Baru Industri has done some hazard control means by giving break time and personal protective equipment to employees.

Abstract

Abstrak: Masalah limbah sayur organik yang tidak terkelola dengan baik dapat menyebabkan pencemaran lingkungan dan kerugian ekonomi bagi pelaku usaha. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan UMKM dalam mengelola limbah sayur organik melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan kompos. Mitra kegiatan merupakan pelaku usaha distribusi sayuran organik yang menghasilkan limbah sekitar 5 kg/hari. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri atas identifikasi masalah, pelatihan teori dan praktik pembuatan kompos, serta pendampingan dan evaluasi berkelanjutan. Pelatihan diikuti oleh 20 peserta dan disampaikan secara daring serta praktik langsung. Hasil pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta dari rata-rata 65% menjadi 87,15%. Kompos yang dihasilkan memiliki kualitas baik dan mulai dimanfaatkan oleh mitra. Evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa peserta merasa metode pelatihan mudah dipahami dan siap menerapkan secara mandiri. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan kapasitas mitra dalam pengelolaan limbah berkelanjutan dan mendorong terciptanya nilai tambah dari limbah organik.Abstract: The issue of unmanaged organic vegetable waste leads to environmental pollution and economic losses for small enterprises. This community engagement program aims to enhance the capacity of MSMEs in managing organic vegetable waste through composting training and mentoring. The partner is an organic vegetable distributor producing approximately 5 kg of waste daily. The program involved problem identification, theoretical and practical composting training, and continuous mentoring and evaluation. A total of 20 participants joined the training, which included online sessions and hands-on practice. Pre- and post-tests showed a knowledge increase from an average of 65% to 87.15%. The produced compost met quality standards and began to be utilized by the partner. Evaluation results indicated participants found the training easy to understand and were ready to implement it independently. This program successfully enhanced waste management capacity and encouraged value-added initiatives from organic waste.
