Abstract

Every company needs a resource that has an important influence to achieve success. Human resource management play an active role in improving employee performance through a number of variables that influence including leadership and occupational health and safety (K3). Based on the existing problems in this study was a decrease in the performance of employees of PT. PLN (Persero) UPJ-Central Semarang technique in 2014 in repairing damaged transformers, transformer damage that should be the target of 25 units, but in reality to 39 units and the target shrinkage transformer is supposed to 8.55% but in fact 19.62%. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of leadership and occupational health and safety (K3) on the performance of employees of PT. PLN (Persero) UPJ-Central Semarang techniques. This type of research is explanatory research. The population in this study are employees of PT. PLN (Persero) UPJ Middle Semarang engineering section with a sample size of 50 respondents. Census sampling techniques. The technique of collecting data using questionnaires and interviews. The analytical method used is validity, reliability, cross tabulation, correlation, determination, regression analysis, the significance test with SPSS. Research, leadership is in excellent health and safety (K3) is quite good, and the performance as very good. It shows when the leadership is getting better and with the implementation of occupational health and safety (K3) is good, then the performance will increase. Researchers suggest that high employee performance it should be more assertive leadership, solid, and clear in giving instructions, so that each employee can capture well the instructions given by the leader and carry out their work according to the instructions of work that has been directed. Listening to complaints from employees, employee supervision until the work is completed on time. More attention to the work tools and equipment that are not proper to use immediately replaced a new one, so that employees feel comfortable in their work.

Abstract

Diazinon is a very toxic pesticide for animals and humans that is widely used in the agricultural sector, so this pollutant needs to be reduced or eliminated in the environment through photodegradation using photocatalysts derived from metal oxides. The catalytic activity of metal oxides is enhanced by adding a support material and increasing the surface area by reducing the particle size to nano size. In this study, kaolin as a source of Al2O3 and golden snail shells as a source of CaO which used to synthesize Al2O3-CaO nanoparticles (NPs) with a simple and environmentally friendly method using plant infusions. Synthesis of Al2O3-CaO NPs using infused red guava leaves (Psidium guajava L.) had been done by utilized the secondary metabolites as reducing agents and stabilizers in the nanoparticle synthesis. FTIR analysis confirmed the presence of alumina (Al-O) groups at wave numbers 850 – 650 cm-1 and CaO at 3642 cm-1. XRD analysis showed NPs Al2O3-CaO had cubic with the crystal size of 14.59 nm. The morphology of Al2O3-CaO NPs showed in the SEM pictures were agglomerated. Al2O3-CaO NPs degraded diazinon by 75% within 180 minutes under UV radiation. Thus, this research not only reduce waste material, but also reduces water pollutant.

Abstract

The purpose of this research  was to examine the value of the Wien’s constant using PhET Simulation virtual laboratory and simple numerical approach. The independent and dependent variable is blackbody temperature (T) and maximum wavelength (λ_max). In the use of a virtual laboratory, research is carried out by shifting the black body temperature feature so  the graph will display a spectral power density that varies to the wavelenght. Numerical approach was used in this research is Newton Raphson methods by Python program. Both of simulation and numerical approach yield the value of the maximum wavelength (λ_max) for a black body temperature variation. The black body temperatures and their appropriate maximum wavelength data then analyzed using linear regression. Final result show that value Wien’s constant using PhET is 2,93 × 10-3 mK with relative error obtained is 1,07 % while using Newton Raphson the Wien’s constant value obtained is 3,07 × 10-3 mK with relative error is 5,90 %. The two approachs carried out produce data that slightly different, but still in a very good accucracy range when compared with theory. So, PhET Simulation and Newton Raphson methods effective to examine the value of the Wien’s constant.

Abstract

Abstrak.  Isu diskriminasi masih menjadi topik hangat di laman berita Indonesia. Hal tersebut tentu berlawanan dengan nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam pancasila terutama sila ke-tiga yang berbunyi : “Persatuan Indonesia”. Karena itu, perlu adanya refleksi diri pada setiap rakyat Indonesia terutama generasi muda dalam memaknai perbedaan sebab generasi muda berperan sebagai Agent of Change yang memiliki arti penting dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Adanya degradasi moral tersebut mejadikan alasan bagi kami sebagai Tim UNNES Giat 5 Desa Kunden, Kecamatan Karanganom untuk melakukan sebuah gerakan dalam memproduksi konten positif bertemakan perbedaan. Sosialisasi ini dibagi menjadi 2 sesi utama yaitu, sesi pembuatan poster dan sesi pembuatan video Pembuatan poster menggunakan media canva. Adapun pembuatan video melibatkan 2 tokoh masyarakat yang berpengaruh di Desa Kunden Kecamatan Karanganom Kabupaten Klaten. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini bertujuan untuk menanamkan semangat menjaga kerukunan dan keutuhan bangsa yang beragam. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah terciptanya poster-poster bernuansa pancasila dan satu video bertema toleransi.Abstract. The issue of discrimination is still a hot topic on Indonesian news websites. This is certainly contrary to the values contained in Pancasila, especially the third precept which reads: "Indonesian Unity". Therefore, there is a need for self-reflection for every Indonesian people, especially the younger generation, in making sense of differences because the younger generation acts as an agent of change which has an important meaning in social life. The existence of this moral degradation is the reason for us as the UNNES Active 5 Team in Kunden Village, Karanganom District to carry out a movement in producing positive content with the theme of difference. This socialization was divided into 2 main sessions, a poster making session and a video making session. Making posters using Canva media. The making of the video involved 2 influential community leaders in Kunden Village, Karanganom District, Klaten Regency. This socialization activity aims to instill the spirit of maintaining the harmony and integrity of diverse nations. The result of this activity was the creation of Pancasila-themed posters and a video on toleranceKeywords: Diversity; Pancasila; Posters; Videography
