Abstract

This study aims to reveal the example of a mother in the Qur'an, with a focus on the analysis of the interpretation of Imam Ibn Katsir. The selection of this interpretation is based on the unique style of the tahlili interpretation, which contains stories from which ibrah can be exemplified. This problem is examined using the Library Research method using a thematic interpretation approach, and then the author examines the literature related to the study of the excellent story of Mother in the Qur'an. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that there are three good stories of mothers in the Qur'an, namely Ayarikha, the mother of Prophet Musa a.s. which is contained in the letter al-Qasas: 7 and Surat al-Baqarah: 233, Siti Hajar, the mother of the Prophet Ismail a.s. which is found in sura al-Baqarah: 158 and in sura Ibrahim: 37, while Hannah Ibu Maryam is found in sura Ali Imran: 35-37. While the exemplary values ​​are given by mothers in the Qur'an from the perspective of Ibn Katsir's interpretation, such as conceiving, giving birth, breastfeeding, caring for, looking after and nurturing their children and also providing exemplary education that can provide compassion. Apart from that, a mother also has to set an example in obedience to Allah, trust and never give up, be patient, pray and make vows, and give a good name and an excellent place to live.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kondisi mahasiswa dan mahasiswi yang sedang menjalani bimbingan skripsi. Walaupun banyak kendala-kendala yang dialami  mereka harus mampu mengontrol emosinya agar skripsi dapat dikerjakan dengan baik dan selesai tepat waktu. Hal ini dilihat karena adanya perbedaan regulasi emosi pada setiap mahasiswa dan mahasiswi dalam menjalani proses bimbingan skripsi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk melihat tingkat regulasi emosi dan perbedaan regulasi emosi pada mahasiswa dan mahasiswi yang sedang bimbingan skripsi di Fakultas Ushuluddin dan Studi Agama agar dapat menyelesaikan skripsi dengan baik.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Alat pengumpulan data adalah skala regulasi emosi sebanyak 40 aitem. Skala tersebut telah teruji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil uji reliabilitas nya sebesar 0,946. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah proportionate stratified random sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 188 responden. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini  menggunakan uji nonparametric Man Whitney U Test dengan menggunakan bantuan program SPSS versi 20.0Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa, mahasiswa memiliki tingkat regulasi emosi rata-rata persentase sebesar 58,5% dengan kategori sangat tinggi, sedangkan pada mahasiswi tingkat regulasi emosi rata-rata persentase sebesar 63,8% dengan kategori tinggi. Pada setiap jurusan tingkat regulasi emosi rata-rata paling tinggi, pada jurusan psikologi islam sebesar (70,4%) sangat tinggi, Aqidah dan Filsafat Islam sebesar (44,4%) sangat tinggi, Studi Agama-agama sebesar (55,6%) tinggi, dan Ilmu Al-Qur’an dan Tafsir sebesar (40,7%) tinggi. Hal ini berarti apabila nilai persentasinya tinggi pada mahasiswa dan setiap jurusan m regulasi emosinya sangat baik dan mampu meregulasikan emosi dalam setiap hal-hal yang dilakukannya.
