Abstract

Musical instruments in Indonesia are very diverse, one of which is the tambourine. The tambourine is a round musical instrument made of wood and cowhide. The tambourine instrument is often played in several events such as commemorations of Islamic holidays, weddings, festivities, and so on. But behind this game of the tambourine, there is a physics concept that causes the tambourine to make a beautiful sound. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method with an emphasis on observing the tambourine while it is being played and interviews with one of the players of the tambourine. From this analysis, several physics concepts contained in the game of the tambourine musical instrument will be produced.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of interactive learning media PhET Simulation in improving critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes on parabolic motion material at Thammasat Wittaya Dharmasathan School, Thailand. The method used is an experiment with a quantitative descriptive approach. The research sample was students of class Mattayom 5/1. Data collection techniques were carried out through pre-test and post-test. The results showed an increase in the percentage of student learning completion from 0% in the pre-test to 56.25% in the post-test. N-Gain analysis showed an increase in learning outcomes with a score of 0.52 in the moderate category. The t-test showed a calculated t value > t table (3.65 > 2.131), so Hâ‚€ was rejected. This means that there is a significant difference between student learning outcomes before and after using PhET Simulation. Thus, PhET Simulation media is effective in improving students' understanding of physics concepts, especially on parabolic motion material. Keywords: PhET Simulation, learning outcomes, critical thinking skills, parabolic motion, physics learning

Abstract

An heir whose whereabouts are unknown refers to a person presumed missing, with no confirmation of life or death. This thesis examines the juridical settlement of inherited assets under civil law, focusing on Case Study Decision Number: 200/Pdt.P/2023/PN Jkt.Tim. The research employs a normative legal method, analyzing statutory regulations (law in book). According to Article 463 of the Civil Code, an heir whose whereabouts cannot be confirmed still retains inheritance rights, supported further by Article 467. However, if the court officially declares the missing person as deceased, their legal status as an heir ceases, and their position is transferred to a substitute heir. This substitution is governed by Article 841 of the Civil Code, which assigns all rights and obligations of the original heir to the replacement. Importantly, the substitute heir may only assume control of the inherited assets after a court decision has declared the original heir legally missing or deceased. Without such a ruling, no transfer or control of inheritance can occur. This ensures legal certainty and protects the rights of all parties involved in the inheritance process.
