Abstract

This study aims at describing the role of farmer women community in improving the family income located in Purwodadi Central lampung. KWT as the solution of the problems which certainly can help in the field of the welfare of family. Descriptive design was used in this research. The researcher determined the informants by using purposive sampling technique with the number of informants 12 people. The type of data used is primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques were collected through the triangulation methods such as observation (non-participant), in-depth interviews and questionnaire. The result of the data indicated that the farmer women can be both the independent women and the fully housewives. By joining the farmer women community, they could earn of farming to help their husband and to meet the needs of family.

Abstract

This  study  explores  students’  perceptions  and  challenges  in  the implementation of English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI) at SMP Cahaya Bangsa Metro, Indonesia. EMI is increasingly adopted in non- English-speaking countries to prepare students for global academic and professional opportunities. The research utilized a descriptive method with purposive sampling, involving 11 eighth-grade students who had one year of EMI experience. Data were collected through classroom observation, semi-structure interviews, and documentation. Findings show that while students recognize the benefits of EMI, such as improved language proficiency and future opportunities abroad, they also face significant challenges. These challenges include difficulties with academic vocabulary, understanding technical terms, and adapting to teacher accents, particulary in subjects like science and math. Additionally, students prefer a mixed-language approach to enhance comprehension. The study higlights the need for tailored language support, clearer instructional strategies, and teacher training to address these challenges. By addressing these issues, educational institutions can create a more inclusive and effective learning environment for EMI students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Tri Hita Karana during teaching Indonesian language for business for international students in Institut Desain dan Bisnis Bali. This study is a qualitative study by collecting the data through observation checklist and interview guide. This study is highly valuable for the reference of promoting the Balinese culture through Indonesia language courses in International classes. The data was analyzed qualitatively by selecting and displaying the data in descriptive as well as drawing conclusion. The result shows that Tri Hita Karana is implemented through drilling technique to fossilize the knowledge to their brain. By implementing project, the lecturer internalizes habituation to the students of Tri Hita Karana.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Tat Twam Asi during teaching English business proposal on students in Institut Desain dan Bisnis Bali. This study is a qualitative study by collecting the data through observation checklist and interview guide. This study is highly valuable for the reference of promoting the Balinese culture and believe, especially Tat Twam Asi. The data was analyzed qualitatively by selecting and displaying the data in descriptive as well as drawing conclusion. The result shows that Tat Twam Asi is implemented as reflection of creating a proper flow of thinking which is easier for the students to develop their English business proposal.
