Abstract

PT Bukaka Teknik Utama adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang engineering, konstruksi, dan manufaktur. Dalam operasional usaha, diperlukan berbagai izin seperti izin usaha dan izin proyek yang merupakan bagian dari Dokumen Legal. Saat ini informasi Dokumen Legal di PT Bukaka Teknik Utama dikelola dalam aplikasi desktop yang bernama SIDOL (Sistem Informasi Dokumen Legal). Aplikasi juga digunakan untuk memonitoring masa berlaku dokumen. Namun begitu, aplikasi ini memiliki beberapa kekurangan, diantaranya adalah hanya dapat diakses oleh komputer yang terpasang aplikasi tersebut, hanya dapat diakses dari jaringan lokal (LAN), dan sistem notifikasi yang hanya dapat dilihat saat pengguna membuka aplikasi. Untuk mengatasi kekurangan tersebut, akan dilakukan perancangan ulang aplikasi sehingga mampu menjawab kekurangan yang ada. Pembuatan aplikasi menggunakan metode prototipe. Metode ini memiliki lima tahapan pengembangan yaitu communication, quick plan, modeling quick design, construction of prototype, and deployment delivery and feedback. Aplikasi dibangun menggunakan bahasa pemrograman HTML untuk tampilan, PHP untuk pengolahan data di sisi server, CSS untuk page styling, Code Igniter sebagai framework, dan Micsosoft SQL Server sebagai Database Management System. Hasil akhir aplikasi adalah menyediakan aplikasi yang dapat diakses semua karyawan yang membutuhlkan informasi Dokumen Legal serta memberikan notifikasi melalui e-mail ketika terdapat dokumen yang masa berlakunya akan segera berakhir.

Abstract

Persaingan yang ketat di dunia usaha dan perkembangan teknologi di sektor bisnis, membuat manajemen perusahaan berusaha memperbaiki sistem yang dimilikinya agar proses pengambilan keputusan lebih cepat dan tepat. Divisi personal administrasi dan penggajian memiliki kebutuhan akan data dan informarsi yang cukup besar. Sehingga kebutuhan infrastruktur penyimpanan data dengan skema terintegrasi pada suatu data mart menjadi sangat penting. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penulisan ini adalah merancang data mart kepegawaian pada perusahaan manufaktur. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam membuat user requirement data mart ini adalah pendekatan terpusat, dimana kebutuhan untuk setiap pengguna digabung menjadi satu set kebutuhan pada sistem database. Sedangkan pada tahap perancangan data mart metode yang digunakan yaitu metode kimball. Hasil dari evaluasi perancangan data mart kepegawaian pada perusahaan manufaktur alat perkantoran baja bahwa struktur database maupun laporan yang diberikan sesuai kebutuhan, dan database yang dirancang sudah sederhana, dapat diandalkan, memuaskan pengguna, akurat, efisien, efektif, aman, dan mempermudah proses administrasi karyawan dan penggajian. Kata Kunci : Data Mart, Kepegawaian, Perusahaan Manufaktur

Abstract

Yogyakarta is one of the popular tourist destinations in Indonesia. There are many tourist sites that can be visited in the city of Yogyakarta, including Prambanan Temple, Breksi Cliff, Van den Berg Museum, and Malioboro. For tourists who are not familiar with these tourist sites, determining the route to be visited is important because it will affect travel costs, especially transportation costs. To solve this problem, the Traveling Salesman Person method and the Brute Force Algorithm are used. The Brute Force algorithm was chosen because of its simple characteristics so that it is easy for all people to understand. The results of the research resulted in the most optimal route with a total cost of Rp. 100,300.00 and the least optimal route with a total cost of Rp. 131,000.00.

Abstract

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) through ISO 9001:2015requires every product to have product traceability. In response to these challenges, PT Bukaka Teknik Utama developes the Traceability System in the Steel Box Girder Bridge products. Traceability System built by adopting Tree Structure Diagram Concept to describe production system process currently runs. The production process start from identify raw material, cutting process, sub-assembly process, and assembly process. This concept is then translated into Relational Database by applying Parent-Child Concept. The result of this Traceability System is the system able to issue a list of product traceability including raw material information, sub-contractor/employee who work on them, etc, quickly and accurately. System testing was carried out using the black box method, where of the 37 items tested all functioned properly. Tests were also carried out to determine the accuracy and speed of the system compared to the manual method. Of the 10 tests carried out, the system traceability is exactly the same as the manual method with an average processing time of 3 seconds, compared to the manual method, which is 97.6 seconds.

Abstract

Today, there are many documents in the form of digital images obtained from various sources which must be able to be processed by a computer automatically. One of the document image processing is text feature extraction using OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology. However, in many cases OCR technology are unable to read text characters in digital images accurately. This could be due to several factor such as poor image quality or noise. In order to get accurate result, the image must be in a good quality, so that digital image need to be preprocessed. The image preprocessing method used in this study are Otsu Thressholding Binarization, Niblack, and Sauvola methods. While the OCR technology used to extract the character is Tesseract library in Python. The test results show that direct text extraction from the original image gives better results with a character match rate average of 77.27%. Meanwhile, the match rate using the Otsu Thressholding method was 70.27%, the Sauvola method was 69.67%, and the Niblack method was only 35.72%. However, in some cases in this research the Sauvola and Otsu methods give better results.

Abstract

Istilah Big Data saat ini bukanlah hal yang baru lagi. Salah satu komponen Big Data adalah jumlah data yang masif, yang membuat data tidak bisa diproses dengan cara-cara tradicional. Untuk menyelesaikan masalah ini, dikembangkanlah metode Map Reduce. Map Reduce adalah metode pengolahan data dengan memecah data menjadi bagian-bagian kecil (mapping) dan kemudian hasilnya dijadikan satu kembali (reducing). Framework Map Reduce yang banyak digunakan adalah Hadoop MapReduce dan Apache Spark. Konsep kedua framework ini sama akan tetapi berbeda dalam pengelolaan sumber data. Hadoop MapReduce menggunakan pendekatan HDFS (disk), sedangkan Apache Spark menggunakan RDD (in-memory). Penggunaan RDD pada Apache Spark membuat kinerja framework ini lebih cepat dibandingkan Hadoop MapReduce. Hal ini dibutktikan dalam penelitian ini, dimana untuk mengolah data teks yang sama, kecepatan rata-rata Apache Spark adalah 4,99 kali lebih cepat dibandingkan Hadoop MapReduce.

Abstract

Abstract : The digital era forces people to digitize in all fields. Digital product that is often found is digital image. One kind of digital image application is the use of a digital image signature embedded in a document. However, often the results are unsatisfactory, such as background color problems, noise, lack of clarity, etc. The quality of digital image signatures can be improved by implementing the Otsu Thresholding and Sauvola methods. These two methods were chosen because they are widely used in document image quality improvement. The purpose of this study is to produce a better digital image signature and to compare the performance of these two methods. The results showed that the quality of the images produced by these two methods was better than the original image or by using standard filters from a word processing application. Meanwhile, from the two methods used, Sauvola's method was slightly better than Otsu's method. In terms of visual evaluations, the Sauvola method total score is 13 compare to Otsu method score that is 11. Meanwhile, the PSNR ratio show that the two methods give the same results, that is 34,571 db.

Abstract

Character extraction in digital images is an interesting topic in the field of image processing. One of the steps in this processes is image preprocessing, that is preparing the image before extraction. There are many methods that can be used, one of which is the WAN method. The WAN method is a development of the Sauvola method, a method commonly used to improve the quality of text images. In an journal article, the WAN method provides better results than other methods for improving the quality of text images. In this research, this claim was tested by applying it as a preprocessing process in text character extraction using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology. The purpose of this research is to find out how well the WAN method is used compared to other methods. The result is that OCR technology give better result to an original image compare to image with preprocessing process, including using WAN method with a match rate of 52.33%. Meanwhile, if the preprocessing process is carried out first, the WAN method gives better results than the Sauvola method with a match rate of 26.93% for the WAN method and 23.27 for the Sauvola method.

Abstract

Naskah kuno merupakan dokumen dari masa lalu yang sangat penting karena merupakan sumber berharga untuk mempelajari sejarah dan budaya suatu bangsa. Oleh karenanya penting untuk terus menjaga dan melestarikan naskah kuno tersebut. Akan tetapi sebagain besar kondisi naskah kuno mengalami kerusakan baik karena faktor alam maupun perbuatan manusia. Salah satu upaya untuk menjaga kelestarian naskah kuno adalah dengan melakukan digitalisasi ke dalam bentuk citra digital. Tantangan dalam digitalisasi naskah kuno adalah kurang baiknya kualitas dokumen hasil digitalisasi seperti banyaknya noise, tidak terbaca, dan lain-lain. Untuk memperbaiki kondisi itu diperlukan langkah untuk memperbaiki kualitas citra digital naskah  kuno tersebut, salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan metode Bernsen. Metode Bernsen merupakan bagian dari Local Adaptive Thressholding yang memperbaiki kualias citra digital dengan mempertimbangkan pixel-pixel tetangganya. Pada penelitian ini metode Bernsen berhasil diterapkan untuk memperbaiki kualitas citra digital naskah kuno, meskipun kurang efektif. Tingkat keberhasilan metode Bernsen adalah 65 persen. Nilai ini lebih kecil daripada pengggunaan metode Otsu yang mencapai 85 persen, atau metode Sauvola yang mencapai 86,67 persen.
