Abstract

Based on the questionnaire to 52 students UNNES Department of Chemistry Faculty, teaching methods of lectures and lecturers are still such things are very boring for students. Moreover, the course material is primarily Basic Chemistry subjects that are less desirable and considered difficult by students because it is abstract, so it needs to be assisted visualization. It is therefore interesting to study as well as creativity and innovation fostering student learning and not so monotonous. The purpose of this study to determine the increase in the chemical and life skill learning of students with learning models CEP. This research is a class action that was implemented in three cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of Chemistry Department of Education UNNES the second half. The focus is investigated in this study is the result of learning and life skill development of students. The data obtained and analyzed using descriptive methods to determine the increase in the learning and life skill development of students. From the research, studying classical completeness increased from cycle I (44%), cycle II (82%), and cycle III (87%). The average scores of students cycle life skill I, II, and III, respectively 77%, 80% and 92% .. Based on these results we can conclude that the results of student learning and life skill can be improved through the implementation of CEP learning model.

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui adanya pengaruh positif penerapan mindscaping bervisi SETS dalam pembelajaran Kimia SMA terhadap pencapaian kompetensi larutan penyangga. Seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMA N 1 Kota Mungkid tahun ajaran 2011/2012 adalah populasi dari penelitian ini. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik purposive sampling menghasilkan kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelompok kontrol. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan the nonequivalent control group design. Metode pengambilan data dilakukan dengan berbagai cara yaitu dokumentasi, tes, angket, dan observasi . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada kelompok eksperimen mencapai ketuntasan belajar klasikal sebesar 97% sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol mencapai 87%. Hasil analisis aspek afektif dan psikomotorik menunjukkan rata-rata hasil belajar afektif dan psikomotorik kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelompok control.Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan mindscaping bervisi SETS ini berpengaruh positif terhadap pencapaian kompetensi siswa dalam pokok materi larutan penyangga. Besarnya pengaruh yang diberikan metode ini adalah 34% dengan korelasi biserial positif yang tergolong sedang.Abstract:This research aims to find a positive effect on mindscaping application that features SETS (Science, Environment, Technology and Society ) visions in chemistry learning of high school to the competence achievement of buffer solution. The population of this study was the XI IPA students of  SMA N 1 Kota Mungkid in the academic year 2011/2012. Sampling was purposive sampling technique determine a class XI IPA 3 as the experimental group and class XI IPA 1 as the control group. The design of this research used the nonequivalent control group design. This study used some method documentation, tests, questionnaires, and observation. Results of the study showed that students' cognitive learning outcomes of the experimental group achieved classical completeness 97%, whereas in the control group reached 87%. The analysis results of the affective and psychomotor aspects showed that the average learning outcomes of affective and psychomotor experimental group were higher than the control group. Based on the results of study, it can be concluded that the mindscaping application that feature SETS vision had positive effect to the students competencies achievement in the subject buffer solution. The magnitude of the impact  this method is 34 % with a positive biserial correlation is medium.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh modelpembelajaran selecting organizing integrating melalui pendekatan metode drillterhadap hasil belajar materi larutan penyangga dan hidrolisis garam kelas XIsiswa SMA Negeri 1 Pati. Populasi dalam penelitian seluruh siswa kelas XI IPApada semester 2 SMA Negeri 1 Pati tahun ajaran 2010/2011 berjumlah 8 kelas.Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik cluster random samplingterpilih kelas XIIPA-5sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas XI-IPA-4 sebagai kelompokkontrol. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan metode dokumentasi, tes, angket,dan observasi. Uji korelasi diperoleh harga koefisien korelasi biserial (rb) sebesar0,58 dan thitung (5,63) > tTabel (2,00), dan melalui perhitungan koefisiendeterminasi diperoleh besarnya kontribusi 33,86%.Penerapan modelpembelajaran selecting, organizing, integrating melalui pendekatan metodedrillberpengaruh sebesar 33,86% terhadap hasil belajar kimia siswa materi larutanpenyangga dan hidrolisis.Dengan demikian Model Selecting OrganizingIntegrating melalui pendekatan metode Drillberpengaruh terhadap hasil belajarkimia siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Pati dan menunjukkan hasil lebih baikdaripada siswa yang hanya diberi metode Drill pada materi pokok larutanpenyangga dan hidrolisis garam.

Abstract

Mata pelajaran kimia khususnya materi larutan elektrolit dan non-elektrolit merupakan mata pelajaran yang membutuhkan pemahaman konsep. Kurangnya pemahaman konsep dikarenakan guru kurang memahami gaya belajar yang dimiliki siswa. Untuk itu dibutuhkan suatu model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan gaya belajar siswa agar materi tersebut dapat dipahami. Model pembelajaran tersebut yaitu model pembelajaran VAK menggunakan media Swishmax. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan berapa besar pengaruh model pembelajaran VAK menggunakan media Swishmax terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Pemalang tahun pelajaran 2011/2012. Teknik penentuan sampel dengan sistem Cluster random sampling diperoleh dua kelas untuk dijadikan sampel yaitu kelas X3 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang mendapat perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran VAK menggunakan media Swishmaxdan kelas X2 sebagai kelas kontrol yang mendapatkan perlakuan pembelajaran ceramah diskusi. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan metode dokumentasi, tes, angket, dan observasi. Simpulan penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa model pembelajaran VAK menggunakan media Swishmax mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Besarnya pengaruh yang diberikan model pembelajaran ini yaitu 35,13%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem-Based Instruction (PBI) berbantuan Funny Worksheet terhadap hasil belajar dan kreativitas siswa kelas XI-IPA SMAN 4 Pekalongan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI-IPA SMAN 4 Pekalongan yang berjumlah 4 kelas. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling terpilih kelas XI-IPA1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI-IPA2 sebagai kelas kontrol setelah dilakukan uji homogenitas. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan metode dokumentasi, tes, observasi, dan angket. Analisis tahap awal meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji anava. Sedangkan analisis tahap akhir meliputi uji normalitas, uji kesamaan dua varian, uji kesamaan dua rata-rata, uji perbedaan dua rata-rata, uji hipotesis menggunakan analisis pengaruh antar variabel dan penentuan koefisien determinasi, uji ketuntasan belajar, dan analisis hasil angket tanggapan. Dari hasil analisis pengaruh hasil belajar diperoleh rb 0,55 dengan besarnya kontribusi 30,25% dan dari hasil analisis pengaruh kreativitas diperoleh rb 0,42 dengan besarnya kontribusi 17,64%. Dengan demikian, model PBI berbantuan Funny Worksheet berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar dan kreativitas siswa kelas XI-IPA dengan kontribusi pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar 30,25% dan kontribusi pengaruh terhadap kreativitas 17,64%.

Abstract

The observations in SMA N 1 Demak show the results of student achievement still has not met with the thoroughness studied classical. This research is done to determine the effectiveness of virtual laboratory towards students' achivement about buffer solution and hydrolysis of SMA N 1 Demak. The population is the eleventh grade student of science. Sample was conducted by random sampling technique, obtained a XI IPA 1 as the experimental class get the learning used virtual laboratory and the XI IPA 2 as the control class get the learning used lecture method. To collect the data the writer used documentation, test, observation and questionnaires. The results of the research show that the average students' achivement in experiments class is 80.55 while the control class is 76.82. The percentage thoroughness studied classical of experiment class is 94.74% while the control class is 73.68%. On average students gave positive responses (happy) to each of the indicators contained in the questionnaires. From the analysis can be concluded that virtual laboratory is effective towards the students’ achievement about buffer solution and hydrolysis of SMA N 1 Demak.

Abstract

The previous study that was conducted absolutely shown that the students of SMAN 1 Wonosari grade XI IPA have less practical ability related to the laboratorial aspects, so that material studies are surely needed in order to ease the students in practical work. The purpose of this research is to measure the influence of the usage of Buku Saku Praktikum Kimia as material studies toward scientific inquiry and generic skill in acid-basic chapter/study. The design of this research is using  pre-test  - post-test group. The method of the aggregation of data is using the documentation, test, observation, and questionnaire method. Based on the Normalized gain experiment , the result of logical inferention of  generic skill for experiment group is 51,29%  and the control group is 42,37%,  generic skill’s direct observation of experiment group is 84,73%  for the practical work I and 87,68% for the practical work II,  control group is 74,97% for the practical work I and 80,32% for the practical work II and the scientific inquiry’s result for the experiment group I is 86,82  for the practical work I and 85,32 for the practical work II. Control group is 81,80 for the practical work I and 81,23 for the practical  work II. The conclusions of this study is buku saku praktikum kimia work to develop scientific and generic skills of students in practical solution of the acid-base.

Abstract

This research is done to findout the effect of the using of active methods team quiz with question card towards the students’ achievement of the eleventh grade student about buffer solution and hydrolysis of SMA Muhammadiyah Wonosobo. The population is the eleventh grade students of natural science. Sample was conducted by cluster random sampling technique, obtained a XI IPA 2 as the experimental class get the learning used active method team quiz with question card and the XI IPA 3 as a control class get the learning used conventional method . To collect the data the writer used documentation, test, observation and questionnaires. The result of the research show that the chemist learning used active method team quiz with question card affects toward the students’ chemist achievement of the eleventh grade students of natural science about buffer solution and hydrolysis of SMA Muhammadiyah Wonosobo. The data analysis biserial correlation technique show coeficient correlation (rb) is 0.461, this fact show coefficient of the determination (KD) is 21.25%. From the analysis can be concluded that the using of active method team quiz with question card effect towards the students’ achievement buffer solution and hydrolysis with the contribution 21,25%.

Abstract

MAN has conducted research in Bradford 1 aims to find and how much influence the application of Active Learning SAVI based on the results of class X studying chemical redox subject matter. The study population numbered ten in class X class. This experimental method with random sampling cluster sampling, obtained by X-6 class of experiments are given in the class-based learning Active Learning SAVI, and the class of X-8 in a conventional classroom learning is given control. Two kinds of methods of data analysis, the preliminary data analysis including test for normality and homogeneity test results of eight classes normally distributed and homogeneous. Final data analysis also includes the results of normality test normal distribution of data, test the equality of two variances of two groups of results have the same variance of 1.1311. Hypothesis test is obtained by analysis of biserial correlation coefficient of 0.5269, the coefficient of determination of 27.76%, thoroughness studied in the classical style in the experimental class at 92.6%, while the control class by 76%. The average total score of affective and psychomotor aspects, experimental class achieved better grades than the control class. Based on opinion poll of students gained an average of students strongly agreed with the application of Active Learning teaching methods based on students' Savi. Therefore, the experimental class students learn better than the control class.
