Abstract

Kemampuan dasar matematika sangatlah penting untuk siswa Sekolah Dasar (SD). Salah satunya adalah kemampuan melakukan operasi hitung bilangan. Kondisi di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa Sekolah Dasar (SD) tentang operasi hitung bilangan masih rendah. Hal ini terjadi karena aktivitas siswa di sekolah pada umumnya masih dibatasi oleh guru, sehingga membuat anak-anak menjadi cepat bosan saat pembelajaran berlangsung. Oleh karena itu, diperlukannya suatu suasana pembelajaran yang baru dengan berbantuan media sehingga dapat membuat pembelajaran menjadi menyenangkan serta membuat siswa lebih aktif. Salah satu media pembelajaran yang akan digunakan adalah Games Memorize Card. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan Games Memorize Card serta pengaruh Games Memorize Card terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Adapun subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SD XYZ di Kabupaten Tangerang. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pra-eksperimen dengan menggunakan one group pretest-posttest design. Instrumen yang akan digunakan di dalam penelitian ini berupa tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji Wilcoxon dan menghitung nilai N-Gain. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa penggunaan Games Memorize Card mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas III SD pada operasi hitung bilangan.Basic math skill is very important for elementary school students. One of them is ability to do number arithmetic operations. Based on the fact show that elementary school students learning outcomes about number arithmetic operations still low. This case happen because activity at school in general still limited by teacher, so that make children become easily bored when learning be held. Therefore, need a new learning environment with assisted media so it can make learning becomes fun and make students active. One of the media that will be used is Games Memorized Card.  The purpose of this research for see the difference in learning outcomes before and after use Games Memorized Card and the influence of Games Memorized Card on student learning outcomes. As for the subject of this research is 3th grade students in XYZ elementary school in Tangerang district. The sampling technique had been used purposive sampling. This research is a pre-experimental design that used the one group pretest-posttest design. The instrument to be used in this research is test. The data analysis technique to be used are Wilcoxon test and calculate the value of  N-Gain. The result of research obtained that use Games Memorized Card able to increase learning outcomes 3th grade students elementary school on the number arithmetic operations.

Abstract

Country with good education condition can be seen through its citizen scientific literacy. This research aims to improving the students’ scientific literacy ability by using discovery learning model at 7th grade students of State Junior High School 3 Ngronggot, Nganjuk-Indonesia. The instrument in this Kemmis and Taggart Model of Classroom Action Research was an essay test composed based on indicators developed by Gormaly. The results of the research showed that there were improvements on the students’ scientific literacy ability from cycle I to cycle II on six of seven indicators. Those improvements are as follows: Indentifying scientific opinion increased from 0% into 64.52%, reviewing literature effectively increased from 0% into 29.03%, understanding research design and the way how its effect to the finding/discussion increased from 14.29% into 19.35%, making graphic from the data correctly increased from 0% to 58.07%, solving problems using quantitative skill including operating basic statistics increased from 7.14% to 58.07%. However, in making inference, prediction and drawing conclusion based on quantitative data, the improvement was only on the students’ answer that got 1 score, it increased from 7.14% to 77.42%. In addition, for the indicator of understanding and interpreting basic statistic, it decreased from 21.43% to 12.90%.

Abstract

Kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa. Hal ini dikarenakan suatu konsep yang dipahami akan mengantarkan siswa pada proses pembelajaran yang bermakna. Namun berdasarkan beberapa hasil penelitian yang pernah dilakukan oleh peneliti lainnya menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa masih rendah. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis adalah dengan menerapkan metode pembelajaran guided inquiry pada proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah rata-rata peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis antara siswa yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran guided inquiry lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran secara konvensional. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan tipe penelitian non equivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII C - VIII I SMP Negeri 16 Kota Tangerang Selatan. Adapun sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas VIII C sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIII F sebagai kelas kontrol dengan banyak siswa ada 37 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes tertulis berbentuk essai. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Pengujian hipotesis dengan uji parametrik (uji t equivalent). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa besarnya rata-rata peningkatan antara siswa yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran guided inquiry lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran secara konvensional. Kata Kunci: kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis, metode pembelajaran guided inquiry, kuasi eksperimen. ABSTRACT The ability of understanding mathematical concepts is one of the abilities that must be possessed by students. This is because a concept that is understood will lead the students to a meaningful learning process. However, based on some research results that have been done by other researchers show that the ability to understand the mathematical concepts of students is still low. One effort to improve the ability of understanding mathematical concepts is to apply guided inquiry learning method in the learning process. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the average increase in the ability of understanding of mathematical concepts between students using guided inquiry learning method is higher than students using conventional learning methods. The type of research used is quasi experiment with non equivalent type control group design research. The population in this study is the students of class VIII C - VIII I SMP Negeri 16 City Tangerang Selatan. The sample used is class VIII C as experimental class and VIII F as control class with many students there are 37 people. The sampling technique uses cluster sampling. The instrument used is essay writing essay writing. Data collection techniques use tests, observations, and documentation. Hypothesis testing with parametric test (t test equivalent). The results of this study indicate that the magnitude of the average increase between students using guided inquiry learning method is higher compared with students using conventional learning methods. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap bagaimana kosakata siswa meningkat jika menggunakan stategi Context Clue. Subjek dari penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Mandirancam yang berjumlah 36 siswa. Dalam melaksanakan penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas sebagai metodelogi penelitian. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas diadopsi dari Kurt Lewin dan penelitian ini dilaksankan dalam dua siklus. Menurut Kurt Lewin, desain penelitian tindakan kelas terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Untuk mengumpulan data kualitatif, instrumen yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan lembar observasi. Wawancara diarahkan untuk murid. Lembar observasi digunakan untuk memantau kegiatan peneliti dan siswa selama pengajaran. Sementara itu, untuk untuk mengumpulakan data kuantitatif, penulis menggunakan test sebagai instrument. siswa telah di uji dengan tiga tes. Yaitu pre-test, post-test 1 dan post-test 2. Hasil dari wawancara dari guru dan siswa, mereka merasa bahwa strategi ini meningkatkan kosakata mereka. Di observasi, disimpulkan hasilnya jika aktivitas pembelajaran selama pengajaran berjalan dengan baik dan menarik. siswa mengungkapkan perhatian mereka lebih baik setelah menggunakan context clue. Kebanyakan dari nilai siswa meningkat dan mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) Bahasa inggris yaitu 75 (tujuh puluh lima). Nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat disetiap tes-tes yang ada. Dari semua penjelasan di atas, sebagai hasil dari penelitian ini, disimpulkan bahwa strategi Context Clue bisa meningkatkan kosakata siswa.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a metabolic disease characterized by increased blood sugar levels (hyperglycemia) which occurs due to abnormalities in insulin secretion, insulin action or both. People use many herbal remedies, one of which is Trigona laeviceps honey. This study aims to determine the effect of giving Trigona laeviceps honey on reducing glucose levels in male rats (Rattus novergicus L). This research was an experimental study using 28 Wistar rats (Rattus norvegicus) which were then analyzed by the Kruskall Wallis test to determine differences in glucose levels in the groups. The results showed that there was a decrease in glucose levels in the group given Trigona laeviceps honey and a significant difference in mean glucose levels was obtained based on the treatment group (p 0.000). Abstract

Abstrak Saat pandemi COVID-19 pemerintah memberlakukan pembatasan sosial untuk mengurangi penyebaran virus tersebut. Hal ini memberikan dampak signifikan pada banyak sektor, termasuk pelaksanaan posyandu yang juga harus membatasi aktivitas tatap muka. Pembatasan tatap muka ini berpotensi menyebabkan terbatasnya penyampaian informasi kepada ibu-ibu mengenai gizi dan tumbuh kembang balita, sehingga berpotensi meningkatkan risiko gangguan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak-anak. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, kami mengadakan program pemberdayaan kelompok ibu sebagai kader sadar gizi dan tumbuh kembang balita. Mitra kami pada kegiatan ini adalah kelompok ibu di daerah Banjar Tegal Suci, Desa Sebatu, Kecamatan Tegallalang, Gianyar yang memiliki anak usia 0-5 tahun. Pada program ini kelompok ibu dan tenaga kesehatan terhubung dengan media sosial “WhatsApp” yang bertujuan untuk mempermudah penyampaian informasi mengenai gizi seimbang dan pemantauan tumbuh kembang anak. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penyuluhan dan pendampingan yang dilakukan dengan perpaduan luring dan daring, serta dilakukan evaluasi melalui pre dan post test dengan rerata peningkatan pengetahuan sebanyak 73,81%. Selain itu mitra juga dapat mempertahankan tumbuh kembang balita mereka dalam rentang normal. Kata Kunci: komunikasi, tumbuh kembang, balita

Abstract

Banjar Tegal Suci in Sebatu Village, Tegalallang, Gianyar, is one of the banjars with a relatively high number of elderly residents. Although there is already an elderly group and cadres, the activities carried out are still limited, such as the lack of diabetes screening, low health insurance coverage, and insufficient knowledge about healthy food preparation. The objective of this Community Partnership Program (PkM) is to improve the knowledge and quality of life of the elderly through several steps, namely diabetes screening, health insurance education, and education on diabetes prevention and healthy food preparation. The problem-solving framework applied includes three main steps: 1) Conducting diabetes screening by checking blood glucose levels, 2) Providing an understanding of the benefits of health insurance, how to register, and conducting meetings with relevant parties, and 3) Organizing education on diabetes prevention, healthy food preparation, and elderly exercise. The PkM activities were carried out in stages, starting with socialization to stakeholders and followed by the implementation of diabetes screening and education. The results showed an increase in knowledge among the cadres and the elderly, with a recorded 84% improvement in pre- and post-test scores for the cadres. Blood glucose testing revealed that 3 elderly individuals had glucose levels >200 mg/dL, and they were advised to follow up with further examinations. Additionally, to increase motivation, glucometers, weight scales, and t-shirts were provided to the cadres and the Puskesmas. Based on the results of these activities, it can be concluded that the PkM has successfully improved the elderly's knowledge and awareness of their health, particularly in diabetes prevention, and has improved access to healthcare services through health insurance.

Abstract

Learning Natural Sciences (Science) requires an interesting and interactive approach so that students can understand scientific concepts thoroughly. One concept that is often a challenge is a simple aircraft. This research aims to improve student learning outcomes in science learning on simple airplane concepts through an inquiry approach at SMP Negeri 2 Telukjambe Barat, class VIII B. The method used in this research is classroom action research (CAR) using an inquiry approach as a learning method. Research was carried out in several cycles involving observation, reflection and continuous improvement actions. The instruments used to collect data are tests, observations and field notes. The research results show a significant increase in student learning outcomes after implementing the inquiry approach. Students show increased understanding of simple airplane concepts, critical thinking skills, and interest in learning material. In addition, student participation in the learning process also increased, showing the effectiveness of the inquiry approach in motivating students to learn actively. Abstract

AbstractBackground: Resistant bacterial infections will affect the results of therapy, costs, spread of disease, and duration of illness. To minimize the losses incurred, it is necessary to monitor resistant bacterial and the use of antibiotics. Objective: To be able to identify, monitor, map and overcome antibiotic resistance and restrict bacterial transmission in hospitals, especially at the Tabanan General Hospital. Method: This research was conducted using a cross-sectional method using samples of inpatients and outpatients sent by clinicians to the Clinical Pathology Laboratory, Microbiology Sub Lab in period of January to December 2022. Results: Of the 590 positive culture samples in 2022, the majority were caused by Escherichia coli (15.25%) and 62.22% were ESBL. Apart from that, 8.31% were found to be Staphylococcus aureus and 53.06% were MRSA. Conclusion: The percentage of Escherichia coli bacteria that produce the ESBL enzyme is still high (62.22%). The percentage of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria that produce the MRSA enzyme is still high (53.06%). The antibiotics Meropenem, Amikacin, and Tigecycline are the antibiotics with the highest sensitivity to ESBL. The antibiotics Nitrofurantoin, Linezolid, and Quinupristin/Dalfopristin are the antibiotics with the highest sensitivity to MRSA. Keywords: bacterial patterns, description of bacterial distribution, antibiotic resistance
