Abstract

Pendahuluan: Tuberkulosis (TB) merupakan salah satu penyakit infeksius dengan prevelensinya tertinggi di dunia. Menurut data di pendahuluan, 46% adalah angka 3 provinsi dengan jumlah terbanyak. Pengobatan yang rasional perlu dilakukan untuk mengeradikasi infeksi Mycrobactericum Tuberculosis, sehingga kualitas hidup pasien meningkat serta angka resistensi menurun. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengevaluasi pengobatan antituberkulosis (OAT) pada pasien geriatri rawat jalan di rumah sakit swasta wilayah Bekasi Timur tahun 2020- 2021. Metode: Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasional deskriptif dengan pendekatan retrospektif. Data diambil dari rekam medis pasien rawat jalan berjumlah 40 pasien. Hasil: Penelitian yang dilakukan di salah satu rumah sakit swasta di kawasan Bekasi Timur tahun 2020-2021 dengan sampel sebanyak 40 orang dengan karakteristik responden terbanyak adalah pasien laki-laki, berusia 50-55 tahun, dan memiliki riwayat penyakit penyerta. Sediaan OAT yang diberikan adalah 80% KDT dan 20% combipak. Lama pemakaian OAT <2 bulan (5%), dan tepat 2 bulan (95%). Hasil evaluasi rasionalitas OAT pada Pasien Geriatri Rawat Jalan Rumah Sakit Swasta Wilayah Bekasi Timur Tahun 2020-2021 menunjukkan bahwa diagnosis tepat (100%), tepat indikasi (100%), tepat obat (100%), dan tepat dosis (77,5%). Kesimpulan: Hasil evaluasi rasionalitas OAT pada pasien geriatri rawat jalan di rumah sakit (RS) swasta wilayah Bekasi Timur tahun 2020-2021 menunjukan bahwa ketepatan diagnosis 100%, ketepatan indikasi 100%, ketepatan obat 100%, dan ketepatan dosis 77,5%.

Abstract

Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) can induce oxidation that caused aging and degenerative diseases such as Diabetic Mellitus. To prevent the incident of degenerative disease, antioxidant needed that found in many herbs, especially colored herbs. Butterfly pea, Rosella flower, and Stevia leaf known as herbs contains phenolic and flavonoid. This constituent are responsible as antioxidant activity. Many people consume the herbs by brewing with hot water as infused water. The purpose of this research is to determine antioxidant activity of infused Butterfly pea, Rosella flower, and Stevia leaf by FRAP method. This is non experiment method descriptive with dry herbs of Butterfly pea, Rosella flower, and Stevia leaf infused extract as sample. The research was conducted in September 2022-February 2023 at STIKes Mitra Keluarga Laboratory. The antioxidant activity is expressed as % FRAP activity. Based on the experiment, it knows that % FRAP activity of Butterfly pea, Rosella flower, and Stevia leaf consecutive 55,29% ± 0,0, 69,17% ± 0,12 , 61,55% ± 0,04.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the knowledge and use of medicinal plants by the people of Samudra Jaya and Pahlawan Setia Villages, Tarumajaya Sub-district, North Bekasi. The research design is an exploratory survey and observation. The sample numbered 119 people, consisting of 69 people representing Pahlawan Setia Village and 50 people representing Samudra Jaya Village. The sampling technique used purposive random sampling. Variables in this study include the value of community knowledge about medicinal plants, the value of community knowledge about the use of medicinal plants, the organs of plants that are often used, the percentage of how to use medicinal plants, and the families and species of plants used as medicine. Data analysis was carried out descriptively. The results showed that the value of community knowledge about medicinal plants was 354 (classified as good), the value of community knowledge regarding the use of medicinal plants was 300.4 (classified as good), the organs of plants that were often used as medicine were leaves (95%), the percentage of how to use medicinal plants are more dominant by boiling (91%), there are 19 families with 22 species of plants used as medicine. The family includes Zingiberaceae, Polygonaceae, Liliaceae, Acanthaceae, Oxalidaceae, Talinaceae, Crassulaceae, Rubiaceae, Lamiaceae, Piperaceae, Basellaceae, Euphorbiaceae, Solanaceae, Caricaceae, Menispermaceae, Asparagaceae, Zingiberaceae, Myrtaceae, Rutaceae, Leguminosae, and Moraceae, with plant species: kunyit (Curcuma domestica), jambu biji (Psidium guajava), sirih hijau (Piper betle), mengkudu (Morinda citrifolia), lidah buaya (Aloe vera), brotowali (Tinospora crispa), sambiloto (Andrographis paniculata), saga (Abrus precatorius), jahe (Zingiber officinale), belimbing wuluh (Averrhoa bilimbi), cocor bebek (Kalanchoe pinnata), ciplukan (Physalis peruviana), jeruk nipis (Citrus aurantiifolia), jarak pagar (Jatropa curcas), kumis kucing (Orthosiphon aristatus), gondola (Basella rubhalin), pepaya (Carica papaya), ginseng jawa (Talinum paniculatum), telang (Clitoria ternatea), getih-getihan (Rivina humilis), tin (Ficus carica), and suji (Dracaena angustifolia). The study concludes that the results of survey scores regarding the knowledge and use of medicinal plants by the people of Samudra Jaya and Pahlawan Setia Villages are classified as good. The species of medicinal plants that are most widely used are the Zingiberaceae family, with local names of plant species, namely jahe and kunyit. Both plants are used by boiling to relieve menstrual pain and treat bloating and colds.
