Abstract

Desa Kepuhsari terkenal sebagai Kampung Wayang. Pengelolaan Kampung Wayang didukung dengan adanya sanggar sebagai pusat kesenian. Peran sanggar diperlukan dalam upaya pelestarian wayang kulit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran Sanggar Asto Kenyo Art dalam pelestarian wayang kulit di Desa Kepuhsari. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu kualitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara mendalam (In depth interview) dan dokumen. Validitas data dengan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sanggar Asto Kenyo Art merupakan salah satu sanggar di Desa Kepuhsari. Sanggar melakukan adaptasi dengan lingkungan sehingga dapat bertahan hingga saat ini. Sanggar Asto Kenyo Art menjalankan peran dalam proses adaptasi yaitu tempat produksi dan rumah belajar, inovasi produk wayang kulit (batik kampung wayang, wayang karakter, souvenir, makanan tradisional, dan lukis kaca), pembangun jaringan produksi dengan pihak luar, pusat kolaborasi antar pengrajin dan membuka lapangan pekerjaan.

Abstract

Teenagers, one of Indonesia's primary consumers, mainly access social media using smartphones. As a student, they use it freely, even when the teachers are in classes. Schools fear unlimited access to social media because the distraction could affect their scores. However, it also could bring positive change. 2019 is the year when the global pandemic crippled the world. Schools are forced to operate online with no direct supervision of the teachers. Social media could be used as an alternative teaching method in such events. This study aimed to determine the relationship between the intensity of social media use and learning related to learning outcomes. The use of social media carried out by students regardless of time affects student learning outcomes, both positively and negatively. Teachers use social media to support the value obtained by students to the maximum through utilization in learning. This study uses correlational quantitative methods with problem characteristics in the form of relationships between 2 or more correlations. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires and interviews. The analysis techniques used are normality test, linearity test, double linear regression test, and Pearson correlation test. The results obtained are: (1) a positive and significant relationship exists between the intensity of social media use and student sociology learning outcomes. (2) there is a positive and significant relationship between learning and student sociology learning outcomes. (3) there is a positive and significant relationship between the intensity of social media and learning with the sociology learning outcomes of grade XI social studies students of SMA N 1 Ngawi. The use of social media can be beneficial for students in learning and learning outcomes of student sociology

Abstract

Indonesia is an archipelagic country with a variety of natural and cultural resources. Tourism is a rapidly growing sector in Indonesia. Village economic center is proof of rapid development in the tourism sector. Tuksongo village economic center is one of 20 Village economic center in the area around Borobudur Temple. It is hoped that the construction of village economic center will be an economic showcase for the village community. This research aims to describe the role of Village economic center Tuksongo in developing a tourist village based on sustainable tourism. This research uses a qualitative approach. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out by interviews, observation and documentation. The validity of the data used in this research is source triangulation. Analysis of the role of village economic center in the development of sustainable tourism-based tourist villages was carried out using the Theory of Structural Functionalism by Talcott Parsons. The results of the research show that the Tuksongo Balai ekonomi desa plays an important role in the development of tourist villages in Tuksongo Village. The development carried out by village economic center uses the principle of sustainability and fulfills three important aspects, namely socio-cultural, economic and environmental aspects. The functions of adaptation, goal attainment, integration and latency are carried out well by Balcondes in developing tourist villages.

Abstract

Social media TikTok has become a media that is quite popular among teenagers. The massive use of social media TikTok among teenagers makes it a powerful socialization agent in forming self-concept. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods to determine the self-concept of teenagers using TikTok social media. The research was carried out using in-depth interviews and observations of purposive sampling of informants involving 5 teenage users of the social media TikTok. The primary data used in this research is the results of interviews with informants, while the secondary data is in the form of books and relevant literature studies. The data obtained was then analyzed using the Looking Glass Self (Cooley) theory. The findings obtained in this research indicate that a positive view of the video content or comments uploaded will form a positive self-concept in teenagers who use the social media TikTok. On the other hand, having a negative view of the video content or comments uploaded will form a negative self-concept in teenagers who use the social media TikTok. This self-concept develops based on the reflections of teenage TikTok social media users on other people's views on uploaded video content or comments.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the habituation of sanggar Candrakirana Semarak introduces traditional dance to the community and to find out how Sanggar Candrakirana Semarak preserves traditional dance. This research is qualitative with case study methodology. Administrators, trainers, students, archives of Candrakirana Semarak Studio, journals, and publications are the data sources of this research. Purposive sampling was used as the research sampling method. Data collection was done directly. This research approach uses source triangulation with interactive analysis methodology for data analysis. The following are the research findings. First, Semarak Candrakirana studio has a plan to preserve the art of dance, which includes the establishment of a training studio, participation in an event, dance preparation, and promotion on social media. The habit of Semarak Candrakirana studio is formed by the founders and trainers of the studio. There is capital that plays a role in maintaining the studio. Economic capital is obtained from dues and fees and performance fees. Social capital comes from the relationship between the founder and the trainers. Cultural capital comes from skills and education. Symbolic capital comes from the attractiveness of the studio. Sanggar Semarak Candrakirana is a place or training arena to preserve traditional dance in the city of Surakarta.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the forms and potential of social capital possessed by sociology teachers in Boyolali Regency and Surakarta City. It also seeks to explore the actors and institutions involved in developing teachers’ social capital and examines how sociology teachers utilize and enhance their social capital for professional development. Data were collected through interviews and document studies using a descriptive qualitative approach. The findings reveal that sociology teachers in Surakarta City have diverse perspectives on sustainable professional development. However, they agree that it must be continuously nurtured and advanced. Regarding social networks, a key component of social capital, teachers have leveraged existing networks such as Subject Teacher Deliberations at city/regency and provincial levels. Additionally, some teachers have sought alternative networks, including international NGOs and writing communities, to support their professional growth. The study highlights the need for teachers to embrace alternative networks beyond traditional ones to expand their social capital and sustain their professional development effectively.
