Abstract

This research aims to optimize revenue on food sales at Dinda's restaurant and the use of available raw materials to generate optimal profits, so to determine the right combination to maximize profits, Linear Proggaming with the simplex method can be used. The results obtained by using the simplex method, namely the restaurant grinding Dinda should produce 17 portions of Chicken rice (X1), 44 portions of Fish rice (X2), 10 portions of Soto rice (X3). From the number of portions of food produced by Dinda's restaurant, she gets a daily profit of Rp. 1,250,000.

Abstract

Prevention of the spread of the 2019 corona virus disease by vaccination has become a controversy in a long conversation on Twitter social media. One way to classify these conversations is to use fuzzy clustering means. Fuzzy clustering means is used to group data into several classes with a high degree of similarity, therefore in the study entitled "the application of the fuzzy clustering means method for trending data on corona vaccine cases on the Twitter social network" aims to apply fuzzy clustering means and determine the trending topic of vaccine cases corona. The data is taken and processed using the r studio program with documentation techniques. In the process of implementing the fuzzy clustering means, it was successfully applied by obtaining the optimal value for the validity of the fuzzy silhouette index x 0.520397533360261 and being able to classify the data in two clusters and display the words vaccine, covid and vaccination as the most talked about words in the case of corona virus disease 2019 on twitter.

Abstract

Mathematics is a tool to simplify the presentation and understanding of problems. Every business actor must do what is called an economic principle, namely that with a little effort or capital it can generate large profits, so that optimization problems arise. The simplex method is an algorithmic procedure that is used to calculate and store a lot of numbers in the initial iterations and for decision making in subsequent iterations. The simplex method is a method commonly used to solve every problem in linear programming where a combination of variables consists or two or more variables. The aim of this research is to optimize daily profit at Viola Batunirwala restaurant. This research is literary by examining journals and books in accordance with the field under study. The steps to optimize daily profit include : (1) Observation, (2) Data Collection, (3) Optimizing daily profit using the simplex method. The results of calculations using the simplex method show that the production applied to the Viola Batunirwala Restaurant is optimal. Profit in one production is Rp. 373.762.

Abstract

Scheduling courses is one of the problems that are often experienced by a university. The same is true for Tribuana Kalabahi University (UNTRIB). The scheduling of courses at UNTRIB consists of two scheduling schemes, namely scheduling of Study Program courses and scheduling of General Basic Courses. Scheduling of Study Program Courses is arranged by the Study Program while for MKDU it is arranged by a team in the MKDU unit at the beginning of each semester. The scheduling process is done manually, by taking the schedule of courses in each Study Program at UNTRIB, after that MKDU begins to arrange course scheduling by adjusting the scheduling of courses from existing study programs. Integer linear programming (ILP) is a method that can model scheduling problems with various constraints that can be adapted to the needs of the University, and ILP can be used to make MKDU scheduling using Lingo 11.0 software. The purpose of this study is to minimize the lecture hall so that there are no clashes during lectures. From the results of this study, it was stated that initially using 20 lecture rooms, it could be converted into 5 lecture rooms with adjusted time slots

Abstract

Given that most of the people of Maikang Village think that the more children in a family, the income from candlenut plantations will also increase, so this study aims to determine the Effect of the Number of Children on Candlenut Plantation Income in Maikang Village, Alor Selatan District in 2020. The Chi-Square method is a hypothesis test comparing the frequency of observations that occur or occur with the frequency of expectations or expectations. From the results of this study, it is known that the calculated Chi-squared = 8.1890 and the table Chi-squared with dk 1 and an error rate of 10% = 2.706. If you compare count (8.1890) with table (2.706), then 2 count is more than 2 table. This shows that there is an influence between the number of children on the income of candlenut plantations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memodelkan metode goal programming pada penjadwalan shift perawat ruang perawatan anak dan untuk mengetahui implementasi metode goal programming dalam menyelesaikan penjadwalan shift perawat ruang perawatan anak di RSD Kalabahi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Rumah Sakit Daerah Kalabahi dan waktu penelitiannya dimulai dari bulan Februari sampai bulan Juli 2022. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara langsung Kepala Ruangan Perawatan Anak dan melalui teknik observasi yakni melalui pengamatan secara langsung pada kegiatan yang berhubungan dengan tugas-tugas perawat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah dengan metode Goal Programming dalam rangka menghasilkan penjadwalan yang optimal. Analisis data dilakukan dengan bantuan software Lingo 11.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penjadwalan menggunakan metode goal programming memberikan hasil yang lebih optimal dan dapat memenuhi semua aturan kendala yang ada daripada penjadwalan yang dibuat secara manual oleh kepala ruangan di Rumah Sakit.

Abstract

This research aims to maximize profits from selling cakes and find out the optimal number of each type of cake to be produced according to the limits available to Mrs. Farida Bako. The data collection technique was carried out by direct interviews with the respondent, namely Mrs. Farida Bako. The data analysis technique used is the simplex method in order to produce maximum profits by knowing the number of cake types produced. The research results show that maximizing and knowing the number of production results can maximize profits of IDR. 1,153,000

Abstract

This research aims to examine the significant factors influencing economic growth in the East Nusa Tenggara Province. The estimation is carried out through a spatial regression model approach. The research variables were selected based on the economic growth model proposed by Mankiw-Romer-Weil, namely Gross Regional Domestic Product at constant prices (Y), Labor ( X1), Electricity Consumption (X2 ), Regional Original Income (X3 ), Capital Expenditure ( X4), and Schooling Duration (X5 ). The research data consists of secondary data from the year 2022 in 22 regencies/cities obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of East Nusa Tenggara Province. Modeling with the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) regression method resulted in three significant independent variables at α=5%: local revenue, capital expenditure, and average years of schooling. Based on diagnostic tests, there was spatial dependence in lag and error, leading to the use of Spatial Autoregressive Model (SAR) and Spatial Error Model (SEM) for spatial regression. From these spatial models, the significant independent variables influencing economic growth in the 22 regencies/cities in East Nusa Tenggara were local revenue, capital expenditure, and average years of schooling. The queen contiguity weighting was used. Based on R2 and AIC criteria, the best spatial regression model was the Spatial Error Model (SEM) with the highest R2 of 0.837610 and the smallest AIC value of 393.03. For further research, it is recommended to consider local factors that may influence economic growth, such as the sustainability of the agricultural or tourism sector, which may vary in each region.

Abstract

This study aimed to optimize the profit of ikat weaving production in Ternate Village, Alor Regency using the simplex method. The research focused on four types of woven products produced by the Pantai Laut weaving group, namely ikat sarongs, ikat shawls, ikat blankets, and a combination of blankets and shawls. The problem of maximizing production profit was formulated using linear programming and solved with the simplex method, supported by QM for Windows software. Primary data were obtained through direct interviews and observations with weavers to identify product prices and material costs. The mathematical model included an objective function to maximize profit and constraints based on the availability of three types of threads: cotton, misrais, and machine thread. The results showed that by using the available resources—22 heads of cotton thread, 25 heads of misrais thread, and 15 heads of machine thread—the optimal combination of products could yield a profit of IDR 4,255,000, with a total potential sales value of IDR 4,970,000. This finding demonstrates that mathematical optimization methods like the simplex method are effective tools for small-scale industries to allocate limited resources efficiently and increase income
