Abstract

This research is important because it aims to examine the description of emotional intelligence and smash accuracy of PB Megantara badminton athletes. In this study, researchers used quantitative methods with a correlational research design. The population used in this study is the PB Megantara badminton club which totalled 30. The sample taken was 30 PB Megantara athletes with the sample technique used, namely total sampling. So that with this research it will be proven whether there is a relationship between emotional intelligence and the accuracy of smash badminton athletes. In this study, the instrument used was a questionnaire regarding emotional intelligence and for smash accuracy using the smash accuracy test. The results of data analysis are assisted by the SPSS21 application. Based on the results of the study, that there is a relationship between emocial intelligence on smash accuracy in badminton athletes which is calculated using a correlation test with significant results, namely (0.210)> (0.05), then a linearity test is carried out with the results of the r table (0.002) < (0.05) with the conclusion that there is a significant influence between smash accuracy and emotional intelligence in badminton athletes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of baseball games on gross motor skills of elementary school children and to determine how much influence baseball games have on the gross motor skills of elementary school children. This study uses a quantitative method with the type of experimental research that will use a one group pretest posttest design. The instrument used is a motor ability test instrument consisting of 4 test items, namely standing broad jump, shot put test, zigzag run, 50 meter sprint. The population of this study were fifth grade students of SDN Damit 1 Cicalengka consisting of 20 boys and 10 girls. The results of the paired Sample T-Teist showed a significant number between the pre-test value of 7.10 and the post-test value of 9.50 with a significance value of 0.024 < 0.05. The result of R squares is 0.314. The baseball game has a significant influence on students' physical fitness. This is evidenced by the sig value. (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05, which means that there is an influence of the inscription game on children's motor skills. Based on the results of the determination test, the results show that the baseball game has a 31% influence on children's motor skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the socioeconomic status of parents and students' learning motivation in physical education subjects in elementary schools and to identify factors that influence the socioeconomic status of parents and students' learning motivation. The background of this study is based on the influence of socioeconomic status on students' access to learning facilities, especially in PE subjects that involve physical activity.In this study, the researcher used a correlational design with a mixed method research method, a sequential explanatory model with a non-probability sampling approach.. The sample of this study used a proportional stratified random sampling technique consisting of 30 fourth grade students from two elementary schools in Ganeas District, Sumedang Regency, selected according to the geographical location of the sub-district center. Data analysis was carried out using correlation statistical techniques to determine the extent to which the socio-economic status of parents influences students' learning motivation in physical education learning. The results of the study showed that there isthe relationship between the socio-economic status of parents and student learning motivation, although the relationship is not significant. The factors that influence the socio-economic status of parents on the motivation to learn physical education in elementary schools include:the economic conditions of parents in facilitating children's learning activities, social and environmental support, and internal factors within students such as interests and personal motivation.
