Abstract

AbstrakAnak yang belajar dengan dimensi sekolah ramah anak selain anak merasa senang, potensinya tergali dan terkembangkan. Dengan model pembelajaran yang lebih mengutamakan aktifitas siswa, sekolah juga menyediakan lingkungan dan fasilitas yang mengakomodir apa yang diinginkan siswa sehingga siswa menjadi senang belajarnya. Siswa dilibatkan dalam berbagai aktifitas yang dapat mengembangkan kemampuannya (learning by doing). Siswa diberi kesempatan untuk menyampaikan gagasannya, memajangkan hasil karyanya diikutsertakan dalam pemeliharaan fasilitas sekolah. Dengan memperhatikan hal-hal tersebut akan memungkinkan menghasilkan lulusan yang berkualitas. Dengan demikian untuk tercapainya kualitas lulusan, pendidikan tidak harus dilakukan dengan kekerasan. Malahan kekerasan dapat menghambat bahkan hilangnya potensi yang dimiliki anak. Jadi betapa pentingnya sekolah ramah anak dimunculkan dalam pengembangan pendidikan dasar.Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Inovatif, Sekolah Ramah Anak

Abstract

This research is performed due to the presence of gap between the policy in the improvement of curriculum and the existing field‐condition in elementary school. On one side School‐Based Curriculum (KTSP) is expected to be applied in schools autonomously, on the other hand, neither the principals nor the teachers, especially of elementary schools, have had comprehensive understanding on the concept of School‐Based Curriculum, its construction process, as well as the implementation. The problem of this research, therefore, is ”How is a model for the construction of School‐Based Curriculum that refers to National Education Standard developed to result in School‐Based Curriculum (KTSP) document”?With reference to the above mentioned background, this research is purposed to offer facilities to schools, especially elementary schools, in the process of constructing School‐Based Curriculum that refers to the guideline of KTSP construction by Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan (National Standard Agency for Education), so that they can have KTSP document. In other words, this research will result in a product of the process of School‐Based Curriculum (KTSP) model development for KTSP document.   In order to achieve the objectives, this research is conducted using Research and Development approach.   In the implementation, this research and development forms a cycle, which begins with a preliminary study to find an early product required. This early product is then developed in a certain condition, with a test, the result of which is revised and retested until the final product, which is considered satisfactory, is obtained. The validity of this final product is then examined. This research is conducted in elementary schools in Cileunyi District of Bandung Regency, of which the principal and the teachers become the subject of this research.  Referring to the Research and Development measures, as mentioned above, the process of constructing School‐Based Curriculum (KTSP) contains two stages. The first stage is the work discussion of the team that consists of Headmaster as the chairman, teachers, and school committee, and involves related parties from the Subdistrict Office of National Education Department and experts (in this case: the research team), which produces book 1 containing general guideline of School‐Based Curriculum (KTSP) development. The second stage is the work discussion of the research team, Headmaster, and teachers, which produces book 2 consisting of six copies of books for each grade, from the first to the sixth.   Suggestions put forward in this research is that the socialization of School‐Based Curriculum (KTSP) should be carried out in whole and applicable so as to give clear description of the process and product of School‐Based Curriculum (KTSP) construction to those school, since they –elementary schools in particular‐ have not been able to create School‐Based Curriculum (KTSP) autonomously.

Abstract

AbstrakMembicarakan masalah mutu pendidikan tidak lepas dengan membicarakan masalah mutu guru. Bahkan mutu guru menjadi wacana dan fokus perhatian. Hal ini dikarenakan dalam seluruh perangkat tenaga kependidikan, guru mempunyai peran yang sangat strategis. Walaupun rendahnya mutu pendidikan merupakan masalah yang komplek, namun demikian perlu dicarikan jalan keluar. Benang merah permasalahan yang ditemukan dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu formula dalam menjawab permasalahan tersebut. Permasalahan pengelolaan kurikulum sarana prasarana dan biaya, pengelolaan SDM dan SPL, serta pemanfaatan berbagai potensi lainnya, akan bermuara kepada bagaimana kemampuan dalam mengelola dan memberdayakan potensi sekolah. Pendidikan bermutu tidak akan terwujud tanpa adanya guru berkualitas. Sejalan dengan kenyataan tersebut, upaya awal yang harus dilakukan untuk mewujudkan pendidikan bermutu adalah meningkatkan kualitas guru. Melalui peningkatan mutu guru, guru akan mampu mengembangkan mutu pembelajaran yang dilaksanakannya. Peningkatan mutu pembelajaran ini akan berdampak pada peningkatan mutu lulusan. Pada akhirnya kepemilikan karakter guru yang efektif akan berdampak pada peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Melalui guru yang berkualitas, pendidikan bermutu bukan sebuah keniscayaan.Kata Kunci: Mutu Guru, Guru Efektif, Lulusan Program S-1 Guru SD

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that suddenly appeared at the beginning of 2020 spread quickly throughout the world, including in Indonesia. Social restrictions to prevent the transmission of Covid-19 eliminate the essential characteristics of humans and individuals who need to move to maintain their existence as biological and social beings. The effect of inactivity includes a decrease in health quality and an increase in the illness rate. Therefore, this study aimed to examine physically active behavior to fill spare time during restrictions in the Covid-19 pandemic. Related to physical activity behavior from a psychological perspective, motivation to practice in leisure time is seen as a predictor for involvement in physical activity. The participants of this study were Elementary School students aged 10-12 years old, seen as the critical transition stage of physical and psychological development. The number of male and female samples, each consisting of 50 people, were selected through convenience sampling. They were voluntarily willing to be a respondent to answer a self-report process using the motivation to practice in free time scale (MBWL). The construct validity of the scale had met the requirements as well as the internal consistency of each item. The results of the study showed that male students' motivation to practice in their free time was higher than female students.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the effect of obstacle course games on locomotor jumping movements. This research uses quantitative methods using an experimental approach. The one-group pre-test post-test design was the design used in the research. This research was conducted at one of the elementary schools in Selomerto District, Wonosobo Regency. The sample in this study consisted of 28 fifth grade students aged 11-12 years. The average score on the pretest was 4.36, while the average score on the posttest was 5.96. The standard deviation for the pretest is 1.471 and for the posttest is 1.644. Through the paired sample test, there are results from the hypothesis test with a calculated value of -9.279 which is higher than the table value of 1.703 from the T table (with 27 degrees of freedom), and the significance level is 0.000, which is less than 0.05. The results of this research show that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected, while the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. The results of this research show that the obstacle course game has a significant impact on locomotor jumping movements. The obstacle course game makes students more enthusiastic in moving, especially in jumping through obstacles. Keywords: jump, locomotor movement, obstacle course game

Abstract

This research aims to improve physical fitness through playing volleyball at SDN Simpang Baru. This research uses a quantitative method with experimental research, using a pre-experimental one-group pre-test post-test design. The instrument used in this research is the Indonesian physical fitness test for ages 10-12 years, which consists of 5 tests: body lift; sit-ups;vertical jump; 600 m medium distance run; 40 m sprint. The population in this study was students of SDN Simpang Baru class V, totaling 41 people. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Purposive sampling is a sample determination technique with specific considerations. The criteria for sampling are as follows: Simpang Baru Elementary School student attended during PJOK lessons, had no history of illness, and was 12 years old. After selecting based on the criteria, 37 samples were obtained. The data were analyzed using normality, homogeneity, and t-tests. The analysis results found that mini volleyball significantly influenced students' physical fitness, with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. Abstract

This research is important because it aims to examine the description of emotional intelligence and smash accuracy of PB Megantara badminton athletes. In this study, researchers used quantitative methods with a correlational research design. The population used in this study is the PB Megantara badminton club which totalled 30. The sample taken was 30 PB Megantara athletes with the sample technique used, namely total sampling. So that with this research it will be proven whether there is a relationship between emotional intelligence and the accuracy of smash badminton athletes. In this study, the instrument used was a questionnaire regarding emotional intelligence and for smash accuracy using the smash accuracy test. The results of data analysis are assisted by the SPSS21 application. Based on the results of the study, that there is a relationship between emocial intelligence on smash accuracy in badminton athletes which is calculated using a correlation test with significant results, namely (0.210)> (0.05), then a linearity test is carried out with the results of the r table (0.002) < (0.05) with the conclusion that there is a significant influence between smash accuracy and emotional intelligence in badminton athletes.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the role of parents in developing early childhood football at SSB Bina Putra Pamekar, Sumedang Regency. The research method used is qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation study. The research results show that the role of parents in early childhood football development at SSB Bina Putra Pamekar can be categorized into three: motivators, facilitators, and supporters. The role of parents as motivators is evident in providing encouragement, enthusiasm, and motivation to their children to continue training and achieving success. The role of parents as facilitators is apparent in providing the facilities and infrastructure needed for children to practice, such as soccer shoes, jerseys, and other training equipment. The role of parents as supporters is evident in providing encouragement and motivation to their children during matches, both directly on the field and indirectly through prayers and moral support. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of hanging ball training on the speed of crescent kicks in Pencak Silat among adolescents. The research used a quantitative experimental method with a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The population included all members of the Tadjimalela Pencak Silat School in Soreang, with a sample of 16 adolescents aged 12-15 years selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis involved homogeneity, normality, and paired t-tests using SPSS. Results indicated a significant increase in the speed of crescent kicks after hanging ball training, with mean pretest scores of 16.56 for left kicks and 17.88 for right kicks, and posttest scores of 18.44 and 20.06, respectively. The paired t-test showed significant improvements (p < 0.05) in kick speed for both legs. Conclusion, that hanging ball training effectively enhances the speed of crescent kicks in Pencak Silat. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of baseball games on gross motor skills of elementary school children and to determine how much influence baseball games have on the gross motor skills of elementary school children. This study uses a quantitative method with the type of experimental research that will use a one group pretest posttest design. The instrument used is a motor ability test instrument consisting of 4 test items, namely standing broad jump, shot put test, zigzag run, 50 meter sprint. The population of this study were fifth grade students of SDN Damit 1 Cicalengka consisting of 20 boys and 10 girls. The results of the paired Sample T-Teist showed a significant number between the pre-test value of 7.10 and the post-test value of 9.50 with a significance value of 0.024 < 0.05. The result of R squares is 0.314. The baseball game has a significant influence on students' physical fitness. This is evidenced by the sig value. (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05, which means that there is an influence of the inscription game on children's motor skills. Based on the results of the determination test, the results show that the baseball game has a 31% influence on children's motor skills.
