Abstract

President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, during his official speech at the Merdeka Palace, stated that the Indonesian people must remain vigilant at this time, even though the spread of the Covid 19 outbreak has begun to decrease. To overcome this, all people should continue to apply new habits in the order of life. Many people call this new normal order the New Normal. One of the goals of implementing the New Normal is so that people can live productively as long as there is still a pandemic outbreak of covid 19. The most effective way to prevent the covid 19 outbreak at this time is by adopting a clean and healthy lifestyle such as doing sports in an organized manner and measurable, and consume nutritious food. A clean and healthy lifestyle in schools is the implementation of certain health procedures by empowering teachers, students and the community around the school. They are expected to carry out a clean and healthy lifestyle to create healthy schools and environments as well. Based on the background above, the author conducts socialization on the Importance of a Clean and Healthy Lifestyle for Elementary School Students in Palangka Raya City during the New Normal Period. The purpose of holding this socialization activity is that it is hoped that students can carry out a healthy lifestyle in their daily lives, so that it is hoped that they will not be susceptible to contracting the Covid-19 virus. The method used in this activity is face-to-face socialization. Socialization activities are carried out by explaining the importance of a clean and healthy lifestyle. After that, a discussion session was held. This activity was carried out in several elementary schools in Palangka Raya City. Based on the community service activities that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the outreach activities for Clean and Healthy Lifestyles for Elementary School Students in Palangka Raya City during the New Normal Period, can provide education regarding the prevention of transmission of the covid-19 virus for students through routine hand washing with soap, consume nutritious food, exercise regularly and measuredly, get enough rest, keep your distance and wear a mask. This can be seen in the activeness of students asking questions during discussion sessions, and being able to answer when asked questions.

Abstract

This research was carried out with the aim of knowing the management of the Palangka Raya City Volleyball Sports Branch (PBVSI). This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with the research location at KONI Palangka Raya City PBVSI Sports Branch, Palangka Raya City. Sources of data are interviews and observations. From the results of research that has been done, the development of Volleyball in Palangka Raya City is 1) Short Medium Long Term Planning has a period of 5 years, 2 years, 1 year. 2) the condition of the Palangka Raya City PBVSI Organization which is coordinated is quite good. 3) The finances of the Palangka Raya PBVSI are good and tidy. 4) Human Resources Palangka Raya City PBVSI trainers who handle PBVSI Palangka Raya City already have a certificate and there is no certificate. PBVSI Palangka Raya athletes have good and quality playing skills. The PBVSI referee for Palangka Raya City already has a certificate. 6) The achievements of the PBVSI of Palangka Raya City which have been achieved so far are good and always experience development and progress.

Abstract

Physical education learning is still not running smoothly and not as expected. Students who still often do not focus when the teacher is explaining the material in the room or in the field so that students do not understand the explanation given by the teacher. Some students are embarrassed to ask which parts are not clear and understand so that when they do the movements in the Physical Education material, they become confused. This study aims to determine students' interest in physical education learning at SMK Negeri 1 Palangka Raya City This study uses a survey method. The population and sample in this study were all students of class X and XI as many as 173 people. The variable in this study is the students' interest in participating in physical education learning. The sampling technique used was total sampling. Data collection using a questionnaire was analyzed with descriptive statistics of percentages. The results of the survey research on student interest in Physical Education learning at SMK Negeri 1 Palangka Raya City are included in the high category, which is indicated by high attitudes, desires, perseverance and encouragement. Students in participating in Physical Education learning can master Physical Education learning and have physical fitness and become the best in learning Physical Education. It can be concluded that students' interest in Physical Education Learning is in the high category, namely 78.1% with details of 86.4% for the attitude aspect, 75.8% desire, 68.3% perseverance and 78% encouragement. In connection with students' interest in Physical Education in the high category, it is recommended that the school completes facilities and infrastructure so that students can achieve optimally, besides that the creativity of physical education teachers is also highly expected.

Abstract

Sports Education carried out with the purpose of education through all movement activities that are directed to meet the needs and goals of education itself. Sports education idenitik with physical education activity, sport and health are implemented at every level of education, or better known as Penjasorkes. There are three dimensions of sport education in schools in the implementation Penjasorkes, that is physical education, health education and sports education. The implications of the implementation of Sport Education is expected that students have physical fitness, enjoyment in physical activity and sport, forming healthy man physically and has a strong character and smart as a nation of Indonesia.
