Abstract

The secular understanding developed by the West is a separation between science and religion, so that between science and religion there is no relationship and there is a dichotomy between the two. Where in science, religion cannot influence and is not considered relevant between religion and science, so science and religion cannot go hand in hand. Secular understanding is an erroneous understanding in Islam so it needs to be corrected by carrying out scientific integration or can be called wahdatul ulum. The purpose of this study is to describe how science in the view of wahdatul ulum. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach. With this type of library study research or what can be called a literature study, namely research that limits research activities to materials contained in the library without conducting research in the field. The understanding of wahdatul ulum is an understanding that unites knowledge from two different sources, namely religious knowledge and science into an interconnected unit, then the unification of qawliyah verses originating from the Koran with kawniyah verses originating from the universe becomes a unity, namely a knowledge that both come from Allah SWT. So that a new paradigm is formed in the scientific field that combines religious knowledge with science.

Abstract

The Qur'an is the first and most important source of Islamic teachings according to the beliefs of Muslims and is acknowledged for its truth. As a guide for mankind, the Qur'an has functions including Al-Huda (guidance), Al-Furqan (differentiator between right and wrong), Al-Burhan (proof of truth), Al-Dzikr or Al-Tadzkirah (warning ), Al-Syifa (healing medicine), Al-Mau'idhah (advice, lessons), and Al-Rahmah (grace). This paper aims to reveal the Introduction to the Qur'an, namely in the form of how the Qur'an was revealed, the other names of the Qur'an, the function of the Qur'an, and the Surahs of the Al-Quran. The study used is a literature review (literature review), which is a search and summarizes some empirical literature that is relevant and in accordance with the theme. The literature used is in the form of books, the Koran, commentaries, scientific articles from national and international journals. The Al-Qur'an was revealed in three stages, the Al-Qur'an itself functions as revelation, guidance, corrector, guardian of the previous book, judge, and as an eraser of the previous Shari'a. The other names of the Qur'an are: Al-Kitab, Al-Furqan, Adz-dzikra, Al-Quran and Al-Hukmu.

Abstract

In order for a good school management to be implemented, it is necessary to have organizational elements that cannot be separated from an educational institution. The elements in an organization are in the form of vision and mission, facilities and infrastructure, cooperation between the school and the local government or other agencies. However, some schools still think that the elements in education are something that is not important, this can be seen from the many schools that have not made significant progress even though these schools have been around for a long time. The aim of the research is to be able to improve the management of school principals in empowering elements of school management. This study uses a qualitative method with the approach of observation, interviews and documentation. To obtain complete data, the researchers used the direct observation method. In developing an understanding of quality, the role of the principal as a manager is to make plans, organize all types of activities, carry out the plans to be achieved. The principal as a leader in the institution must be able to direct, build togetherness, realize the school's vision and mission to advance the school, have a strong determination to change institutions in a better direction, namely the realization of quality schools..
