This research aims to find out how much influence office layout has on the work productivity of employees of the Koperasi Serba Usaha (KSU) Mitra Saudara. The method used is a case study and the subjects are KSU Mitra Saudara employees. Meanwhile, the analysis technique uses simple linear regression to test the hypothesis of the influence of office layout on employee work productivity. The results of the research show that office layout has an effect on employee work productivity at KSU Mitra Saudara, namely 77.6%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work environment and job satisfaction on employee productivity at the Bandung City Government Employees Cooperative. The background of this research is the decline in employee productivity caused by an unsupportive work environment and relatively low job satisfaction. The research method used is a descriptive and verifiable quantitative approach with data collection through questionnaires distributed to 25 cooperative employees. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to test the influence of independent variables on the dependent variable. The results showed that the work environment had a positive and significant effect on work productivity by 28.6%, job satisfaction had a positive effect by 31.8%, and simultaneously both variables had a contribution of 48.6% to employee productivity. The conclusion of this study shows that the better the work environment and the higher the job satisfaction, the higher the employee productivity will be.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Islamic banking profitability in Indonesia’s economic growth using the CAMELS framework and an endogenous growth perspective. The analysis focuses on profitability as the main mechanism linking Islamic banking performance to real sector development during the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent economic recovery period. The study uses annual data from 2020 to 2023 obtained from the Financial Services Authority, Bank Indonesia, Statistics Indonesia, and the World Bank. The analytical methods include descriptive statistics, correlation and stationarity tests, and regression estimation using Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) and the System Generalized Method of Moments (GMM) to address potential endogeneity. The empirical results show that Islamic banking profitability, particularly Return on Equity (ROE), has a positive and statistically significant effect on Indonesia’s economic growth. Return on Assets (ROA) also exhibits a positive relationship with growth, although with weaker statistical significance. Other CAMELS indicators, including capital adequacy, asset quality, efficiency, and liquidity, do not have a significant direct impact on economic growth but serve as stabilizing factors for the banking system. Inflation has a negative and significant effect on economic growth, while investment shows a positive but statistically insignificant relationship. Overall, the findings confirm that profitability is the primary channel through which Islamic banking contributes to national economic growth. This study positions profitability as an explanatory variable rather than merely a performance indicator and reinforces the relevance of endogenous growth theory in the context of Islamic banking in Indonesia. Policy implications emphasize the importance of strengthening Islamic banking profitability to enhance its contribution to sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

The South Bandung Livestock Cooperative (KPBS) Pangalengan operated an upstream-to-downstream milk procurement system that involved farmers, Milk Collection Points (MCPs), and Dairy Processing Industries (IPS), within which a set of policies was enforced to control the quantity and quality of fresh milk. This study aimed to analyze the procurement policy applied in controlling fresh milk at KPBS Pangalengan using a mixed-method approach supported by a forecasting method to predict future milk reception and delivery. Data were collected through direct observation, interviews with key informants at the production unit, documentation, and secondary data on milk reception and delivery. The results showed that the milk procurement system had been implemented in an integrated manner, covering milking based on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), collection at the MCP, digital barcode-based quality testing, and direct distribution to industrial partners without long-term storage. KPBS applied a quality-based incentive and penalty scheme, technical training, and facility support for farmers. Milk was distributed proportionally to several industrial partners, with PT. Ultra Jaya as the largest recipient. Milk production was strongly influenced by weather and humidity conditions that could trigger heat stress in dairy cattle, thereby reducing both the quantity and quality of milk. Forecasting using the Exponential Triple Smoothing (ETS) method indicated a stable and slightly increasing short-term trend in milk reception and delivery, with a good to very good level of forecasting accuracy (MAPE of 6.05% and 13.57%, respectively). The study concluded that procurement policies supported by a technology-based climate information system and forecasting methods strengthened production resilience, increased member participation, and aligned with cooperative principles oriented toward member welfare.

Abstract

Murabahah financing is one of the financing products that serves as the main source of margin income for Islamic cooperatives. However, an increase in the amount of financing disbursed is not always followed by an optimal increase in margin income. Therefore, an optimization strategy for murabahah financing is needed to enhance margin income and support the sustainability of cooperative operations. This study is motivated by the importance of effective and efficient management of murabahah financing at Koperasi Syari'ah Baitul Muttaqin, Bandung City. This study aims to analyze the optimization strategy of murabahah financing in increasing margin income at Koperasi Syari'ah Baitul Muttaqin, Bandung City. This study employed a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving managers, financing staff, andmembers receiving murabahah financing. Data analysis techniques included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the optimization strategy for murabahah financing is implemented through selective financing feasibility analysis, mutually agreed margin determination, improvement of service quality for members, and monitoring and supervision of the financing that has been disbursed. These strategies contribute to smoother installment payments, minimize the risk of non-performing financing, and support the increase in murabahah financing margin income. In conclusion, the optimization of murabahah financing through the implementation of sound financing management is able to increase margin income at Koperasi Syari'ah Baitul Muttaqin, Bandung City. Nevertheless, continuous efforts are still required to improve the effectiveness of financingmanagement and maintain the quality of the financing provided.
