Abstract

Simulation of snake motion using inverse kinematics method is a research that aims to know how the motion of snake animal that will be applied in 3D animation. To know how snake animal motion data needed is angle of bone animal freedom degree and also motion pattern of snake animal by using inverse kinematics method. Limitation of variables in this study is the object of research using snake king snake type, the method used using inverse kinematics and simulation methods created using Maya software. The method of analysis used in this method is the method of research and development. This research produces data on snake animal walks and border degrees of freedom data to be applied in 3D animation. The end result of this research is the path pattern of the snake animal, the 3D simulation produced in the form of walking movement. The conclusion of this research is the application of inverse kinematics method can be applied in simulation of 3D motion of snake animal. This study yields data in the form of angle of bone freedom. Produce snake animal pattern shaped like a curve or the letter S. Keyword: Inverse Kinematics, Snake, Degrees of Freedom

Abstract

Crude oil has a vital role in the economic growth of a country because crude oil is a source of energy driving the economy. To maintain economic stability, the price of crude oil in the coming period needs to be anticipated by making predictions on world crude oil commodity prices. One of the models that can be used to predict crude oil prices in the short term is Geometric Brownian Motion (GBM). This study aims to implement the GBM model to predict crude oil prices during the Covid-19 pandemic and measure the model's accuracy. This study made crude oil price predictions with several iterations of 50, 100, and 1000. The results showed that the smallest MAPE value was carried out 1000 times in iterations, namely 2.13%. Based on the MAPE value, it can be concluded that the results of crude oil price predictions using GBM have a high level of accuracy.

Abstract

The Stream Cipher cryptographic algorithm is a cryptographic algorithm that can be used to secure symmetric key-type data. The Stream Cipher algorithm uses the same key when performing encryption and decryption. In carrying out the encryption process, the Stream Cipher algorithm uses the stream cipher method, where the cipher comes from the result of an XOR operation between the plaintext bit and the key bit. This study aims to implement the Stream Cipher algorithm with a Matlab programming language for text security. The text data used in this study is in the form of a file with a txt extension. The stages of research methods included literature studies, algorithm analysis, program design, and testing. The method used in this study is to apply the Stream Cipher algorithm to a programming language to produce an application that can be used for data security. The output of this research is the creation of an application program that can be used to secure text data so that the information contained is not easily stolen or misused by irresponsible people. The test results in the study using a key that was modulo-kan 65 first will produce a random message in the form of clear characters while using a key that is not modulated will produce a random message that is less clear in the form of boxes.

Abstract

The Bauzi is a tribe that inhabits the Mamberamo Raya district. The Bauzi  is classified as semi-nomadic who fully utilizes the existing ecosystems in their territory. The life of the Bauzi  belongs to the hunter-gatherer economy. They carry out hunting activities, fishing all year round, but there are some animals that are only available seasonally. Animals that can be hunted throughout the year are wild boar, while a some of bird species are only available in certain seasons. Currently, the media rarely discusses the Bauzi tribe. To more easily learn and get to know the Bauzi tribe, an educational game design for hunting the Bauzi  in Mambramo Raya can be made. The method used to design this game is the RAD (Rapid Application Development) method which is divided into three stages: planning, system design, and implementation. This Bauzi hunting educational game contains a pig hunting game and lessons about the Bauzi tribe, starting from the history of the Bauzi , their daily activities, how to hunt,  and tools used for hunting. The purpose of this game is to make it easier for people to learn about the Bauzi tribe with educational game media. The final result of this research is a desktop application that can be used as a learning medium for the Bauzi tribe in Mamberamo.

Abstract

Sentani is one of the regional languages in Papua which is experiencing a shift and signs of extinction due to the decreasing number of speakers and no longer being used in both formal and informal forums. Even many Sentani children who live on villages far from urban areas are starting don’t understand the Sentani language. The aim of this research is to create an Android-based Indonesian-Sentani dictionary application that can be used as a learning tool. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method that focuses on a case study of creating a Sentani language dictionary application. The research began by collecting data consisting of observation, interviews and literature study.
