Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes by using a Contextual Approach in class III SD IT Nur Ihsan Medan. This type of research is classroom action research. The application of a contextual learning approach in improving mathematics learning outcomes in multiplication and division arithmetic operations material in class III SD IT Nur Ihsan is carried out with the following steps: (1) Relating, (2) Experiencing, (3) Cooperating (4) Applying, (5) Transfers. The application of a contextual learning approach can improve learning outcomes in mathematics subjects, multiplication and division operations for class III SD IT Nur Ihsan. This can be seen from the average initial condition before the research was carried out, which was 64.51 with a completeness percentage of 44.44%. After doing research in the first cycle using a contextual learning approach on the material of multiplication and division arithmetic operations has increased with an average value of 76.53 with the percentage of students' completeness reaching 73.33%. Then proceed to cycle II by applying a contextual learning approach, student learning outcomes have increased. In the second cycle the average increased to 87.2 with the percentage of students' completeness reaching 86.66%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the school environment on student satisfaction at the Nur Ihsan School, Medan. This research is motivated by the importance of understanding how the school environment contributes to student well-being and overall satisfaction. This research uses a quantitative approach by utilizing survey instruments to collect data from a sample of students at Nur Ihsan School. Data analysis includes descriptive statistics and regression analysis to examine the relationship between various elements of the school environment and student satisfaction. Research findings reveal significant correlations between certain aspects of the school environment, such as physical facilities, quality of teaching, peer relationships, and student satisfaction. This research emphasizes the importance of a positive school environment in helping to increase student satisfaction and engagement. The implications of these findings suggest that educational institutions should prioritize improving the physical and social aspects of the school environment to increase student satisfaction. This research contributes to the broader conversation about educational quality and student well-being, by providing insight into the factors that contribute to a better educational experience positive

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Analyze the reading abilities of second-grade students before the application of visual stimulation at SD Negeri 105286 Tandam Hilir I, and (2) Test and analyze whether the visual stimulation method using image media affects the reading abilities of second-grade students at SD Negeri 105286 Tandam Hilir I. This study is an experimental research. The subjects are second-grade students at SD Negeri 105286 Tandam Hilir I, totaling 19 students. The method used in this study is the experimental method. The research design used is the One Group Pretest-Posttest. This trial did not use a control group. The design was implemented by comparing the pretest and posttest results in the tested group. The results of this study indicate that students' observation and attention to images can enhance their reading abilities. There is a difference between the pretest and posttest scores of the second-grade students at SD Negeri 105286 Tandam Hilir I.

Abstract

This research examines the improvement of science learning outcomes using the Inquiry Model in Class IV UPT SPF SDN 105338 Denai Kuala. The theory used is PTK (Classroom Action Research) is an activity carried out by educators or together with other people in a collaborative manner which aims to improve or improve the quality or learning process in the classroom. In its implementation, the researcher acts as a teacher who will conduct teaching by applying a learning model that has been planned and compiled, while the class teacher acts as an observer during learning. The method used is the Inquiry Learning Model. Inquiry Learning Model is a learning model specifically designed to develop student activities in the learning process as a support for declarative knowledge and procedural knowledge of learning materials. The results of the study and discussion showed that there were 30 students or none of them who got a complete score with an average score of 19.33. Furthermore, after being given action using the Inquiry learning model in cycle I, student learning outcomes increased from the previous by an average of 38.67 where as many as 6 students (20%) got complete scores and 24 students (80%) got incomplete scores. Then in the second cycle test results obtained an average of 80.67 with 28 students (93.33%) getting complete scores and 2 students (6.67%) getting incomplete scores. Thus, the results of this study indicate that there is an increase in learning outcomes from before to after the application of the Inquiry learning model, more clearly on the development of student learning outcomes in science subjects, the subject matter "Plants".

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of online versus face-to-face teaching methods in the learning process of the Indonesian language subject for second-grade students at SDN 104214 during the 2020/2021 academic year. The method used is a quasi-experimental design with two groups: experimental and control. Instruments used include pretests and posttests to measure learning outcomes and an observation sheet for implementation of learning. The findings indicate that face-to-face teaching methods are more effective than online methods, as seen from the significant differences in the average post-test scores between the control and experimental groups. Additionally, observations show deficiencies in the implementation of online methods, such as reduced interaction and student engagement. This study recommends the development of more interactive online learning strategies to enhance their effectiveness.

Abstract

This design is done by comparing the results of the pretest with the posttest in the group being tested. The results of this study indicate that the process of observing and paying attention to students' images is able to improve reading skills. There is a difference in the pretest and posttest scores of class II students at SDN 105286 Tandam Hilir I.
