Abstract

In eradicating tardy behavior and discipline in obeying school rules by students, the role is not only the subject teacher, but the counseling teacher also has a very important role to overcome tardy students. Being late is one of the most commonly seen rule-breaking behaviors in schools. Although being late is not a criminal act against the law like theft and murder, if handling and follow-up efforts are not given, it will have a negative impact on student development, especially in terms of academic achievement. The phenomenon of MTs Al-Jam'iyatul Washliyah Tembung School shows that there are students who are late, the cause of which often occurs due to general factors, family, personal and school factors as a result affecting student learning achievement at school. Qualitative is the method used with a descriptive approach. The BK teacher's effort to resolve late behavior in students is to provide individual counseling guidance services to students. After getting individual counseling guidance services students experience changes in no longer being late for school, their clothes become more rapid and become more quiet.

Abstract

The background of this research is the variation in students' Brandan Timur Baru and the various ways counseling teachers deal with students' problems at school. The research objectives are 1) to describe the state of student self-confidence. 2) Analyze the factors that cause students' self-doubt. 3) Describe the role of the counseling teacher in increasing students' self- confidence. The type of research used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data display, and conclusions. The research informants were school principals, vice principals for student affairs, counseling teachers, homeroom teachers, subject teachers, and students. The results of the study, 1) The condition of students' self- confidence tends to be low, namely not daring to express opinions, not daring to ask questions when they don't understand the lesson, hesitant when speaking in front of the class and silent when appointed by the teacher to come to the front of the class. 2) The factors that cause students' self- doubt are not daring to express opinions and ask questions because they feel embarrassed, afraid of giving wrong answers, and the nature of students is quiet who doesn't like to talk a lot. 3) The role of the Counseling teacher in increasing student self-confidence begins with designing the Counseling Guidance service program, classifying each student case, and providing information on how to increase student self-confidence. The conclusion of the study, Counseling teachers play an important role in increasing students' self-confidence. Suggestion 1) Schools should maximize the performance of the guidance counselor by scheduling them to attend class every week on a scheduled basis for at least 2 hours of lessons. 2) Counseling teachers should take an approach through various types of services and support activities for students who lack self-confidence so that they can get to know students better and can guide students to be more confident. 3) Students should be more courageous to speak/ask questions in class, not to be afraid of making mistakes in learning and to take advantage of counseling services in schools so that they are more confident.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara penyesuaian diri dengan kecemasan berbicara di depan umum anak panti asuhan Al-Washliyah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah korelasional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 123 orang diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian angket tentang kecemasan berbicara dan angket penyesuaian diri. Teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus product moment correlation. Hasil penelitian yang ditemukan adalah: Ada hubungan negatif antara penyesuaian diri dengan kecemasan berbicara di depan umum pada anak panti asuhan Al-Washliyah dengan r= -0,345 pada signifikansi 0,000 atau sebesar 11,9%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi kemampuan anak melakukan penyesuaian diri maka semakin rendah kecemasan yang dialaminya ketika berbicara di depan umum.

Abstract

Penelitian yang telah dilakukan berjudul, “Hubungan Antara Interaksi Sosial Teman Sebaya Terhadap Kepercayaan Diri Siswa-Siswi Di Mts. Al-Washliyah 16 Perbaungan”, yang dilatarbelakangi bahwasanya rendahnya kepercayaan diri yang dimiliki dalam diri siswa dapat mempengaruhi proses interaksi sosial siswa terutama diantara teman sebayanya. Metodologi penelitian yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII di MTs Al-Washliyah 16 Perbaungan dengan total 334 orang siswa. Sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah 20% dari jumlah populasi sehingga diperoleh sebanyak 67 orang siswa sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 2 (dua) angket dengan skala likert yaitu angket tentang kepercayaan diri dan angket tentang interaksi sosial teman sebaya. Pengolahan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah aplikasi IBM SPSS 21 for windows dengan menggunakan uji korelasi product moment. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis melalui pearson correlation menghasilkan nilai r sebesar 0,385 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,001 < 0.05. Dari hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa Ha diterima, yaitu terdapat hubungan antara interaksi sosial teman sebaya dengan kepercayaan diri. Dari hasil ini juga menunjukkan arah hubungan pada koefisien r bernilai positif, artinya terdapat hubungan yang positif atau semakin tinggi interaksi sosial teman sebaya maka semakin tinggi kepercayaan diri.Kata Kunci: Interaksi Sosial Teman Sebaya, Kepercayaan Diri

Abstract

In everyday life, humans will be faced with various forms of adjustment, ranging from simple to complex, in which there is a pattern consisting of certain elements that can be seen clearly. For example, a child who longs for his mother's love is busy with other tasks to fulfill his life's needs. This research aims to determine the factors that cause students to have difficulty adjusting. With this research, we can find out what is the cause and effect of students at UIN North Sumatra class of BKPI-2 Stambuk 2020 in adapting. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This research design uses a phenomenological study. Data collection techniques in this research are observation and interviews. The results of this research are that researchers can find out the factors that cause students to have difficulty adjusting based on emotional, intellectual, social and physical aspects. Physical aspects, a person's physique can influence a person's adaptation process. Several conditions, including hereditary factors, physical conditions, nervous system, glands and muscles, or disease, can affect the adaptation process. The conclusion of this research is that this factor becomes an obstacle for them which makes it difficult for them to accept and get along with new people. In this case, difficult to adapt does not mean it is impossible, but it takes quite a long time to be able to enter and blend into the new environment.

Abstract

Self-harm is a form of behavior carried out by individuals to overcome emotional pain by injuring themselves, carried out intentionally and consciously but charged with suicidal intent. This research aims to determine the factors that cause self-harm behavior in students. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study type. The collection techniques used were interviews and documentation (voice recordings). The respondents in this study consisted of two 8th grade teenage girls from MTs schools. Muallimin UNIVA Medan who uses the pseudonyms Sari and Lina. One of them is that Lina has engaged in self-harm behavior. The research results show that the factors that cause self-harm are self-harm such as coping with stress, emotional dysregulation, loneliness, social support, parenting patterns and family problems. A comparison between the two respondents showed that respondent Lina showed significantly negative experiences with the factors causing self-harm compared to respondent Sari. Meanwhile, Sari respondents viewed the factors that cause self-harm more positively, this was based on the high level of attention and social support they received from their families.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada peran guru Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) dalam mengatasi dampak bullying terhadap siswa di SMP Swasta Pahlawan. Bullying di sekolah sering terjadi karena kurangnya pemahaman siswa tentang perilaku yang dapat menyebabkan tekanan pada teman sekelas. Perilaku ini dapat berdampak serius, termasuk kecemasan, depresi, penurunan prestasi akademik, dan isolasi sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, yang melibatkan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru BK memiliki peran penting dalam memberikan layanan konseling individu dan mediasi antara korban dan pelaku bullying, sehingga membantu meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa yang menjadi korban bullying. Hambatan yang dihadapi guru BK antara lain kurangnya waktu untuk konseling dan minimnya keterbukaan siswa dalam menyampaikan masalahnya.

Abstract

In Indonesia, every year there is an increase in bullying cases, East Java is one of the provinces with bullying cases which continue to increase every year, this is reported from data recorded by KPAI (Indonesian child protection commission). This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Sosiodrama technique in overcoming bullying behavior in class XII students at SMA Negeri 4 Tebing Tinggi. As a problem that often causes victims, bullying should get serious action. Bullying greatly affects the mental state of the individual who is the victim and even the individual or group of people who are the perpetrators as well. This study used a quantitative research method with two groupings of the experimental class and the control class. The resulting data were analyzed using the paired sample t-test. The resulting data shows that the pretest average score is lower than the posttest average score, so it can be seen that there is an increase in the effectiveness of the sociodrama technique in dealing with bullying behavior. The results of the research conducted obtained a significance of 0.012, which is smaller than 0.05, so Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. From the acquisition of scores on the bullying behavior scale that were compared before and after the treatment was given, it showed a significant effect, so based on these results it was known that there was an influence of the Sosiodrama technique in overcoming bullying behavior of class VII-5 students of SMA Negeri 4 Tebing Tinggi.

Abstract

Learned helplessness merupakan kondisi psikologis di mana siswa merasa tidak berdaya, pesimis, dan mudah menyerah saat menghadapi tantangan akademik. Fenomena ini menghambat perkembangan motivasi belajar dan kesejahteraan mental siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas teknik reframing dalam mengentaskan learned helplessness pada siswa kelas IX UPT SMPN 35 Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel terdiri dari enam siswa yang teridentifikasi memiliki tingkat learned helplessness tinggi, berdasarkan hasil penyebaran angket pada 23 siswa. Intervensi dilakukan melalui layanan konseling kelompok dengan teknik reframing dalam empat sesi. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket learned helplessness yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil analisis statistik menggunakan uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan bahwa terdapat penurunan skor learned helplessness secara signifikan setelah diberikan layanan reframing, dengan nilai Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,027 (p < 0,05). Rata-rata skor pretest sebesar 102 menurun menjadi 63,67 pada posttest. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa teknik reframing efektif dalam membantu siswa mengubah pola pikir negatif, meningkatkan persepsi positif terhadap diri, serta mengurangi sikap pasrah dan pesimis dalam belajar. Dengan demikian, teknik reframing dapat digunakan sebagai intervensi efektif oleh guru BK dalam menangani permasalahan learned helplessness di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to provide steps to prevent bullying behavior in students through information services. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Stabat. The object of this research is class XI Ips students at SMAN 1 Stabat. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection tools used were field observations, interviews with guidance and counseling teachers and providing information services to students. Data analysis in this research is qualitative descriptive using the Miles Huberman model. The results of this research are that the implementation of the information services provided really helps students in preventing bullying behavior between cultures that have differences in terms of accents or dialects. These differences greatly influence students' social environmental responses, becoming the subject of student jokes which results in bullying. With this information service, students can find out how to prevent intercultural bullying.
